Another beautiful car Rob. Interesting to see the slight differences (mirror position etc). The NSR runs very smoothly, both are lovely. I also prefer the colour of the Scalextric version, just looks gorgeous. I bought the yellow Sebring version of the NSR MkIV just a few days ago, just waiting for it to arrive. It’s a shame the NSR’s aren’t lit cars but I guess the focus is on the running components and you can add a lighting kit if you really want too. I guess for the money, well done to Scalextric. Nice to have both. I’m looking forward to comparing the two Sebring’s when the new one arrives. Thanks again for sharing Rob, it’s great to see these cars and watch them run. Cheers, AW

Managed to find a new, Slot-it mk2 of the Ken Miles car recently too, that was just too good to pass up. It’s my first Slot-it GT40 so I look forward to your video of the mk1’s. Something about those GT40’s! AW
These are great Rob. Scalextric has it with the limited length of the hood 'No 3' stripe. The real car has a darker and more reddish or copper like hue to the metallic paint and so they are both well off on this. Oddly, Scalextric has much larger rear wheels to those on the front and this is just wrong but he ho. Once again the drop down to the driver's door on the rear haunches with the Scalextric is a bit too steep and too narrow but perhaps the front on the NSR is a touch too wide as a proportion. It is certainly great to be able to enjoy both models and to be able to compare the two.

They look great together . If it’s ok to ask , does your ARC Pro power base handle the bigger motor NSR cars ok in analog mode? I have the LCD Digital power base with wired controllers and in analog mode the bigger motor cars surge and are notchy while holding the throttle at a set speed. Shark motors are not as bad but King21 motors really surge because they draw more power.
