People complain about the price but its quite a masterpiece and everything looks really good quality, Ive been around engines all my life, thats what made me click on this.
If you think that’s amazing, consider there are people who make them, every part and piece, at their home machine shop. There’s a guy who made a running model of a Rolls Royce v12 Merlin engine. He machined every last screw.
It would be the same technology as used to make full sized motors. CNC lathes and machining centers. The parts are smaller. I find watch parts really amazing because of how tiny they are. IMHO. 😊
People do actually put them in RC cars. Though, these engines are INCREDIBLY expensive. Its cheaper to go to the junkyard and get a real one and rebuild it with stock parts lol
I’ve said the same thing for years, maybe a smaller complete engine but you get to build the whole car Closest thing I did to this was a 1/12 RC car where I had to assemble whole transmission etc and respray the shell etx
Whoever's making you this kit is truly a fanatic That's for sure. I can't see how anybody could make any money producing all those parts but there it is, just amazing.
Its actually a company that makes these kits, they are several thousand dollars, the title of the video is just a tiny little bit misleading,it makes it sound like hes building this thing from scratch, its actually a kit that anyone can buy, the company is called Cison's, look it up if you have the chance.
Super cool ! That's the most realistic V8 I've seen built so far. The biggest difference is the engine not coming with a weed eater carburetor like most of the other scale engines I've seen on you tube so far. The intake manifold and a little carb that looks like a mini 4 barrel Holly. The pistons have compression and oil rings Instead of 1 ring like a 2 stroke. A lot of detail went into the design of that little engine. The distributor looked like the real thing. Oh and I love the little fuel tank :)
check out ''V8 / V10 / V12 model engine build on utube, been around for maybe 20 years now. Off the shelve and home machined - milled. Some amazing incredable builders around - enjoy :)

50 years ago, I got the bright idea that no matter what technology baffles us, doing a build that uses that tech will leave us knowing and understanding that tech. Like this engine, a Wankel, a helicopter, ANY tech. Excellent micro engine BTW!
I really like this engine. Many people will say that it is very expensive. But the truth is that manufacturing it is very difficult, especially when we are talking about a real working engine with a realistic design.
love it, perfect engine for my boat. amazing engineering to build a piece of kit this small, and kudos to you for being able to assemble it. I'd have trouble myself.
All the folks complaining about the price obviously haven't ever built an actual engine. These engines go in rc cars/trucks. These things are awesome and I definitely plan on buying one soon
Please explain???I built a 400 small block out a couple years back that made around 460 hp i allready had the bottom end and even with new heads I only have around $2300 in it and it is in a actual car that I can get inside and drive up and down the road! This a $3000 toy!! A toy!! And you’re bragging on it! No wonder our country is so fucked with slush heads like yourself just throwing money away because you can! Im beyond certain you didn’t work for that money and if your parents are still alive the shame they must feel for leaving you money so you could waste your life and build $3000 toy engines. 😢
At the speed this thing turns they will probably be fine and for the price this is probably something you will shows your guests every few months when you get together for beers.
Thank God you showed the extension of the knife blade snd the exquisitely comprehensive tracing around the crack of the box top! However would we have guessed how you managed that?
Thanks for sharing. This looked like a lot of fun to build. It's also nice that you didn't add music to the background like most youtubers. Keep up the good work :)
now that you have a lot of experience on 3D modeling...could be nice If you design the entire car..and then fit this engine on it... lol the preference your favorite car or one really famous cara from a movie
I have watched several of these builds, I am most impressed with this model with three piston rings, and push rods and adjustable valve clearances etc. The valve timing arrangement is less impressive, there are usually markings on the gears that are accurate to one tooth, I don't see this here. It appears to be real easy to get the valve timing out of whack, and probably a design where the pistons can hit the valves.
What a fantastic video who would have ever thought this could be done? I wonder what you could put that engine in totally awesome great video thank you.
Great job... attention to details is important regardless how big or small an internal combustion engine is. Mine started out like yours, but added 90% Nitro-methane and 10% Methanol. It's a real screamer and just like real Top Fuel Dragsters, mine needs to be rebuilt every 10 seconds. For my next trick, going to make my RC Dragster hit 330 mph in 1,000 foot run on drag strip... pass the replacement parts....
That is funny, totally amazing, and super cool all at the same time! That tiny little carburetor, headers, and plugs! What a hoot. And that sound! Damn that's funny!
The technology to create this miniature scale motor is just amazing.

If you can afford it, and you want it, and it will make you happy, then get it.
It really isn’t , the tech needed to create it is, has been around for over a hundred years
That thing cost over 3 thousand dollars in Australia. It’s actually cheaper to buy a real V8 from the wreckers
That's what I was thinking, it's legit cheaper to get a 350 small block and rebuild it😭
Try to get a new block it will be like 3k
Yeah but if you buy this set it's not because you desperately need a V8.
💀😩😂

Amazing to discover that there are actual miniature engines like this that exist and they work just like their full sized counterparts.
Just like? Really?
426 Hemi
Boss 429 and
427 SOHC. Just a few iconic engines that should be built.
No, this one is actually a mix between a 440 Mopar / Chrysler B engine and a Chevy small block.

The fuel tank is awesome,a 55 gallon drum.
Look up Conley V8. There’s definitely better motors that make real HP and sound like actual V8’s.
i nearly cried when you revved this puny engine, it's so cute
Now that is a small block,!
@spaceace1006 no it would not cause any problem. its for the "neat"
The only person that deserves our praise is the people who miniaturised and made all the parts for this engine.

I LOVE CISON!! their I4 sounds genuinely better than real i4s do. And we finally have a pushrod, 4 barrel carburated, true American v8 model!
It's actually made in China. (I looked it up.)
@@jublywubly It's based off an American pushrod V8 (I took an ASE course)

Those main bearings look like they'll be spun super quick! There's nothing keeping them aligned or tightly fit. It's such a great miniature too!
