He clearly did it just to be near Lydia, since he's...bonded to her, in a manner of speaking.] meanwhile phoning in/pretending to do generic typical farming chores [Most of the work he barely did, if he did it at all, however attempting to milk the cow got him kicked by the stubborn heifer, but instead of using his "juice" on the animal in retaliation, he took the hit in stride, since he's already dead & the encounter did get a genuine laugh out of an otherwise bored Lydia, who even tried to persuade her aunt & uncle to let "Mr. Beetleman" have some time off from the dregs of the job [which she clearly knew that he wasn't actively doing anyway, because Betelgeuse & hard-earned work is like him & fresh, clean water, they do not mesh well] when they offered to take her to a barn dance/hoedown/hootenanny & she personally noticed that for the first time since he appeared at the farm in his straw hat & overalls, "Mr. Beetleman" genuinely perked up, more or less thinking he'd be allowed "time off for good behavior" as they say, obviously gesturing towards Lydia that he'd love to partner with her on the dance floor, but unfortunately, Lydia's aunt & uncle wouldn't budge on granting "Mr. Beetleman" any leisure time, all on account of his well-fed lie of loving tedious, dull chores that Lydia's aunt & uncle otherwise had to do by themselves before hiring him had convinced them that he was there to do the jobs he loved, so as they said it, "There's no use a-goin' & botherin' Mr. Beetleman when he has so much work to do", even though it was painfully plainly obvious that no real work was getting done with him on the job & that he only did it to be around Lydia, despite being told by her that he cannot come with her to her aunt & uncle's to avoid them potentially finding out about their underage niece's fondness for a greasy looking fella with insects in his teeth who probably smells worse than cow pie, what with being several years dead & all, with "the whole being dead thing" being an aphrodisiac - i.e. sex stimulant - for the preteen preppy goth junior photographer, Brides of Funkenstein lead singer & occasional creepy fashion designer, per her Hot Topic-like Spooky Boutique, full of sentient Neitherworld merchandise for the unsuspecting costumers])...
*Lydia* "Last time we spent time together, my parents almost got beheaded!"
*Betelgeuse* "So? What's your point?"
*Lydia* "We agreed then that, sometimes, we'd have be apart."
*Betelgeuse* "Great! I'll be _apart_ first." ~shatters into pieces, then reforms~
*Lydia* "You _know what I mean_ ; You can't go to the farm, okay?"
*Betelgeuse* "But Babes, we're a team! I can't live without you! Oh wait, I'm already dead, so no problem."
Person: *says 1 (one) rude thing to Lydia Beetlejuice: alright I’m gonna possess a child.
I remember when I first saw this episode thinking how both when Lydia and when Clarie said it it felt like a reference to the original movie
@Avocady100 the movie came out in 1988 and the cartoon aired its first episode in 1989
@Avocady100 you got it backwards man, Beetlejuice movie came in 1988! The cartoon 1989
Jenna: (in a determined voice) If Lydia won't bring him back, then I will! (With all the power her voice can gain) Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, BEETLEJUICE!!!!
If Tim Burton ever gets revenge on Hollywood, it would be artistic/creative not personal.
I’m weirdly in love with him
Scottbok i’m shamelessly in love wit him, my phone is flooded with fanfiction and other tings :3
Same I love him so much
bro hes hot 🥵🥵🥵🥵
Anyone else think Beetlejuice is adorable? 🥰
Yes he is l guess
He looks more like David Lee Roth than Michael Keaton.
lol ! Now I can't unsee this :D
Check out the ending of the episode "Doomie's romance" where Beetlejuice has Michael Keaton's hair from the movie.
Holy hell...... This is hilarious! I will always see him as Roth now!!!! Hahahahaha
More like Sam kinison
@@fertilityqueen7880 Damn I miss Sam Kinison! Hahahaa I can see that too!
@@blackrosegardenforthestran4757 link to picture or episode please? :)
I call shinannigans. They didnt even touch on when you realise you are cutting the wrong pattern piece with the wrong fabric and you have sewn the wrong pieces togeather so you have to take the entire garment apart and start over and you have fittings the next day so you HAVE to get it at least sewn togeather enough to fit it later for alterations.
Yeesh.... BJ can be downright TERRIFYING when he wants to be.
So many fangirls for Beetlejuice. It must be the "bad boy" vibe...
Never mind the fact that he's dead
I loved the episode with the kaiju Burger vs the kaiju shake.
Okay, I hate Clair with a burning passion, but I have to admit that when she’s possessed by Beetlejuice, she does look decent in the dress.
Confirmation: anyone can summon him. Lydia is the only one who can control him!
“My revenge is going to be artistic, not personal!”
Spoken like a true drip. Claire is definitely the Mindy of the show, without a doubt.
It show time 2:20 2:33 2:46 2:49
"Okay, Claire. Let's get into character! * Cackles *
2:50 IT'S SHOWTIME!
“You’re an original, alright; and nobody wants a sequel.”
It’s how we all feel about “Beetlejuice”, and then it was turned into a widely-loved musical. And, apparently, the same thing is happening with “Back to the Future”.
I remember this episode. It was so creepy.
Also leaving Beetlejuice in the Neitherworld totally backfired on Lydia. 😆
Well he maybe a trouble maker but at least he helps Lydia when she needs it the most.
My absolute FAVE scene of that episode, and series :D
I can’t believe That’s Alyson Court from Big Comfy Couch as Lydia and Tara Strong who was then known as Tara Charendoff before she was married from PowerPuff Girls as Clare.
oh y'know just casually possessing a child
The usual.
no one wants a sequel. 🤣God I loved this show.
We all need to friend like Beetlejuice in our lives. Or at least Cartoon Beetlejuice, not Movie Beetlejuice.
“Remember the possession is nine tens of the law.” lol
No one:
Not a single soul:
Not even bj:
Walking stick: *Ight imma head out*
The walking stick is adorable 😂
Okay but this series was the BOMB
With beetlejuice around it's always a party.
It's showtime Claire!
"You're an original, alright. And nobody wants a sequel!"
Uhhh yeah… about that… you sure about that Beetlejuice? I believe it was Dostoevsky that said..."Later, f**ker!"
0:40 beetle juice is dummy thicc
*Beetlejuice*
“yo shaky what do u think of these?!”
*Shakespeare* (thumbs up)
*Beetlejuice* “WOW... What a way with words..”
IM DECEASED ( pun intended
BJ: Oye, Shaky! Que opinas de esto?
Shaky: 👍🏻
BJ: Wow.... Lo dejaste mudo
It's how I remember this in the latin spanish dub 😂
The only time in the show someone could say Beetlejuice's name not exactly three times in a row. But I still LOVE this show!!!! 🪲🧃
I think the rules in play regarding his name are:
-saying his name three times uninterupted will always either summon or banish him
-saying his name three times but broken up can be used to summon or banish him if he wants it to
One is automatic, one is an option.
Yes but also the musical in “say my name” the words are “say my name three times in a row it must be spoken unbroken” but maybe it works different in the cartoon
@@madeline3272 The original movie worked the same as the cartoon as well.
Beetlejuice is dummy thicc
Thanks but never say that again
Lauryn why not;(
I kinda agree 😳
Love the subtitles XD
Selin Germann
Thanks! You should see the subtitles I added for Prince Vince in my other videos XD
I still like to see the sequel to happen. Beetlejuice 2. Beetlejuice 2. Beetlejuice 2!
just watch the musical its so good
cherubclown Really?
@@betelgeuseredstone9082 heck yeah! would you like a bootleg of it? :o)
cherubclown Real funny.
It’s been confirmed! September 2024!
Learn to throw your voice, fool your friends, fun at parties.
0:35 he just watching her sleep huh
Yo he is wth-
Beetlejuice really loves it when people say his name, doesn’t he? 😉
Claire; "Well you can find your selves another Julia." Teacher & Class; "That's Juliet!" Claire; "WHOEVER!"
Took me longer than it should've to realize the puns with opera cape and top hat.
I got the walking stick at least.
You're telling me Claire heard Lydia say Beetlejuice but not the whole part where she says about him being in the neither world and not bringing him back
She probably heard but was distracted by the name Beetlejuice. Cartoon logic
1:48
That means two things.
Claire is getting what she deserves
2:22 Wear it out? Super original.
Why do I enjoy watching this?
Katsuki Bakugou because it’s an awesome show
@@xandranicholai7301 Destiny: because funny and great 👍
What's the song when it's like "what was that... that was possession any ghost can do that in less than one lesson

RW:that oops part LOL!😂
Man this had some weird angles....
"That IS the most disgusting word I have ever heard! Beetlejuice?!"
🤮🧟
That's right!
"Now, say it one more time, you stuck-up little ham!"
Mm-hmm.
"SAY IT!!!"
Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!
That's why you keep saying his name like three times!
Okay but he is such a mood
0:40
Me: *Bryan's Boogeyman Laugh* We will definitely teach Claire an ultimate lesson.
I find it so cute that they literally went to William Shakespeare’s grave to get the thumbs up
This is good. I mean, I prefer the musical, but this is actually pretty good.
Sorry but Michael Keaton nailed this role. Can’t wait for the sequel honestly
You gotta admit, Stephen Ouimette did a good job with the cartoon portrayal.
Michael Keaton is Beetlejuice!
Anyone else want to see a Chaos-Off between this Beetlejuice and Discord from My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic? Cuz . . . damn.
"Sorry, Beetlejuice!"
"Beetlejuice?!"
"Ooh, that's my name! Go ahead! Wear it out! Wear it out!"
👩🦰🧟
I forgot for a moment, that Bettlejuice is actually a demonic ghost who can possess someone.
Use to love this show.
Remember how he wanted a child bride in the original
Remember when he married that child in the musical 😃
Welp...as Beej's theme park counterpart says...."Possession is nine-tenths of the law." :p
Young Tara Strong!
True. She voiced Claire and Bertha.
Omg I never knew and now I am just.... 😮😮 Speechless..
😲what!?
don't you wish you could get revenge on snobs and bullies like this back in your childhood lol
Is it bad I never knew there was a animated version rip
