By looking at the mess before you started it amazes me how people will go out of their way to rig something up instead of fixing it the right way.I’m guessing this is how junk yards gets started.If you don’t have the knowledge to do it the right way then hire somebody that can. Good job rebuilding it.
I used bondo glass. I may need to rout a space between it and the aluminum structure and fill that with flexible caulk to allow for movement. We will see if it cracks! Thanks for watching!

Nice work on the refrigerator cabinet. What did you use to fill the gap at the wall by the main door? Turned out nice.
