Looks great! I like the paint color choices. You can always fix the paint, wet sand, polish, touch up, repaint a section, etc. The new final drive should be fine.
Should be proud ! Dude it looks like a complete different RV,,The wife rocked out the interior and I was amazed at how bad a job they did on fixing this inside especially the plumbing !! Great job sir ! And I cant believe how quiet it is inside while driving ,,,
Thanks Steve, I will show your comment to Michelle. It is quite, its like a little house pod that floats wherever you want it to go. The driving feel is nothing like a truck based motorhome. I see you have a guitar and amp posted for your picture. Check out my guitar shop, google Atomic Music in Beltsville, Md. We have over 1000 used guitars… Thanks
I saw your post on buying your gmc and watched every post like a Crackhead in one evening always wanted one of these motorcoach but seems I wasn't meant to have one cause none where up for sale at the time so I live watching others do theres!! Thanks for the ride!!
Since I used the same carrier I just used the standard recommended gear oil, but synthetic. There is a posi option you can get and that oil would be different. I have gone on several trips since then and changed the oil a couple times to see what it looked like but always clean. Thanks!
I know those bolts are difficult even without having to remove the diff. Had to remove and replace a drivers side exhaust manifold bolts on a Toronado and needed to remove the dip stick retaining bolt. Awkward and tight is how to describe this.

Maybe you covered it in the vid, I may have missed it, but what gear oil did you use in the final drive?

What RPMs did you get on the highway? Any changes to fuel economy?
I keep it under 3k, it goes about 68 mph at 3k so I cruise at 60mph mpg not sure …
