I am thinking of mixing up 2 of your videos. The corn dog casserole and this one. Put the hot dogs in the casserole dish, then pour in cornbread and bake, and then follow the rest of your recipe. I think it will work. I really miss Red. He was one of a kind and a true gentleman. His corn casserole recipe is a staple on my Thanksgiving Day table.
Got a recipie for spaghetti pie? Granny used to make it and I've been longing for it. All I remember is it was pie shaped and the crust was thin spagetti with some kind of round cheese like ricotta or the other one a sauce with meat and veggies and a melt cheese top. Ideas?
We make something similar to this except it's called Hamburger Cornpone. Same ingredients. The only difference is we use tomato sauce, no chili seasoning, no cheese, no sour cream or chives and we pour the cornbread batter over the top of the beef mixture and bake all together. On second thought, I guess what we do really isn't so similar after all now that I'm reading back what I just wrote. Never mind. Ya'll just do what ya do and pay no mind to me. 😁
Yum and if you don’t like tomatoes you could used beans instead I laughed at the Jiffy story.! First time I used them I did the same thing Steve did! Their yellow cake mix makes a great dump cake
I can't make Chili without making Cornbread and when it is time to eat l put a piece of Cornbread in the bowl and fill with Chili topped with Cheese it isn't as fancy as your but it is great 👍👍
I love your recipes and have big respect replays to your fans. Sometimes l reply and then realize comment was already made. Costs of groceries hit the roof but things like that ld add sliced. Jalapeno and black olives. Or even use base of tator tots instead of corn bread on occasion. But l love your recipes they could easily be family favorites. Plus l think you're very attractive

My son did that ..tried to pull the bag out, was with a box of cereal😆 He didn't give in tho an trashed the bag! Unfortunately it was a box of Rice Krispies😆

Believe it or not, my daughter, husband and I don't like cheese. When we get pizza, we have to take the cheese off because we don't like it w/o cheese. Friends love to share pizzas with us so they can have the piles we take off! 😱🧀

1⁄2 cup yellow cornmeal.
1⁄3 cup granulated sugar.
1 tablespoon baking powder.
1⁄2 teaspoon salt.
