Shopping List:
1 lb 80/20 ground beef
1 lb 97/7 ground beef
2 jalapenos
1 diced onion
1/2 tsp beef bouillon
1/2 cup water
All-Purpose Seasoning
1 tsp each (sazon, chile powder, cumin, smoked paprika, italian seasoning)
16 oz refried beans
2 cups colby jack cheese
2 cups sour cream
zest and juice of 1 lime
1/2 tsp sugar
1 cup crushed doritos
1/4 cup sliced black olives
1/4 cup diced cilantro
1/2 cup diced tomatoes - บันเทิง

Found this 2 days after my family Xmas eve dinner where I did a turkey PLUS ham with all the traditional sides ... next year ... this... definitely THIS!!!
I layer mine with flour tortillas, meat, onions, peppers, cheese and salsa. Then top with green onions, tomatoes, jalapeño and black olives. Guac, sour cream and taco sauce on the side
We called this Taco Dip because we always served it with tortilla chips or "scoops".🤷♀️ The only thing that we did differently was that we mixed the sour cream with cream cheese and seasoned it (it kind of stabilized the sour cream layer). Everything else is done like you did it! It is delicious!!
I always make my taco casserole with Frito’s. Delicious!
We used to make this same taco dip for tortilla chips. Always loved it.

I like to add a little Spanish rice to my taco casserole. I make it with Rotel (tomato and chilies mix) so it gives a nice balance to the texture and flavor.

I make this using chili beans and drained corn that I mix with the meat, layer chips meat and vegetables, sour cream, cheese repeat layers. The chips remain crisp since the meat is hot when added to the casserole. It bakes up quite nicely

My Mom makes something like this she calls "taco bake" except she only puts a layer of the meat mixture and then a layer of cornbread mixture served with lettuce tomato sour cream etc... Pretty darn good might try it this way looks awesome too !!
