Oh my gosh…I have not done any stretching or activity for the last several years 😞(I am a nurse and have been working MANY shifts since the pandemic started). I am 49 years old and had a heart attack in July 2022. I’ve felt awful, depressed and simply so bad since then. I found you tonight (1/11/23) and decided it’s time to start my healing journey! Thank you so much 🥹!!! I’m hoping this helps me feel better physically, AND mentally ❤
Me too...a little over two months ago. Thought I was going to have a fourth knee surgery on the same knee, but it has finally turned a corner. I highly recommend the two videos that Kassandra has for when she was dealing with a knee injury. They helped me. Good luck, and hope that you're fully recovered by now!
My one word intention, peace. Every morning I waken with trauma, often preceded by nightmares. I know then to begin my day here. It helps me to shed distress and reset my mind to a gentler place. Sincere thanks to you, dear Kassandra. 🩶

My word was "Empowered"...bc I have a lot of extra responsibilities recently with care for my 90 year old father and a recent work changes , all creating excessive anxiety and doubts of my ability to handle it all. This was a nice calming practice to help maintain my focus. Thank you and looking forward to getting back into a little more vigorous practice in the future. For now this was perfect.

I just subscribed. I never thought about doing yoga I'm more of a gym guy but now that I'm 49 yrs old now my muscles ache, my back just went out on me n my legs and thighs are so tight all the time. I think it's time for something new. So soon as my back heels I will be starting my mornings before work with you. Thank you.

I had a daily yoga practice for years but had foot surgery 9 weeks ago to fix a dislocated toe and the surgery had a long pin in my big toe for 4 weeks leaving little mobility in that right big toe and lingering swelling in my foot. It's frustrating because I still can't walk in most shoes (thank God for oofos) and I feel like a beginner with my yoga practice as it resumes now and I need to modify to baby that foot. Today is my first real day back on the mat - so thank you so much Kassandra for helping me ease back into my practice. Also doing a complete home remodel so I finally found a little bit of dust free space to lay down a mat. 🙂

I have been practicing with you for a little more than a year. The past few months, I added Yoga in the Bed practice to my morning practice. In last week, I have started falling asleep with the last pose. I loved this beginner's practice for my Saturday.

Your videos are helping me slowly gain strength. At 46 I’m tight and feel very weak - it’s hard to be patient while my body adjusts to activity of any kind…but these videos are perfect for stepping into flexibility and an overall healthy body

Lovely. My one work is “Calm”. These slow, concentrated practices are my favourite. I find more physical and mental benefit to them than vinyasa or ashtanga. Your teaching style is fantastic and soothing. 🙏🏻

Thank you for a lovely slow start to the day! Would it be possible for you to show possible alternatives to some poses in case people struggle? I’ve been doing yoga for quite a while, so I know when I need to use props to help me get the most out of the poses but beginners would not know this. For example, as a bigger chested woman, low lunges are challenging so I use blocks to open up and allow me to breathe and not “feel squished”. I think those different tips for beginners might be helpful. 🙏

Kassandra, in the instructions for Reclined Shoelace, I'm not clear on whether we are to draw the knees toward ourselves or press them away from our chest as we pull the feet away and down. hi kassandra, my word for today was grateful - i woke up really annoyed this morning, i think cause my pms is kicking in. i prefer a flowy and flexible state of mind which is almost impossible during this time. but the feeling of gratefulness definitely helps me to have a more positive mindset throughout more stressful days. Yes, that’s how I started back into yoga after a 15-year hiatus. You could start by looking for the gentle yoga 10-minute classes, and if you can only do the first 5 minutes to start, that’s great. Wish you all the best!

Hi Kassandra! Thank you for this graceful and accessible practice, good for all levels. Just a mention that seated forward fold is very difficult for me with feet facing each other, but fine when in regular legs crossed. Maybe you might want to make that suggestion for adaptation for others, or some other adaptation for forward fold. I do love that back stretch! Thanks again!

I received my affirmation cards yesterday. Today was my first time using them. My affirmation was 'I am aligned with my higher purpose'.
woke up slow and stiff after aa active and stressfull week. This practice was just the thing to get me moving in a calm gentle mode.

Hello Mam, I am happy to join your some or other yoga schedule every morning. I am 63 years old but still I practice deep strech yoga, gentle yoga as per my ability.

Thank you kassandra. You've been a part of my.morning routine for over 2 years. I had surgery in march and wad unable to do yoga...this is my 2nd week back and how i missed it! So thankful for your page and the ability to connect with myself and stretch myself for the day. Makes a huge difference in my workouts

Hi Kassandra! Thank you for this graceful and accessible practice, good for all levels. Just a mention that seated forward fold is very difficult for me with feet facing each other, but fine when in regular legs crossed. Maybe you might want to make that suggestion for adaptation for others, or some other adaptation for forward fold. I do love that back stretch! Thanks again!

I have been a lifetime yogi, but when I turned 62, I began a journey and today is day 1168 of consecutive yoga (many of those days practicing with you) but today, this was perfect, sometimes getting back to basics is just what we need! My intention-calm, and I am feeling it already. Namaste 🙏🏼

My word was accomplished! I’ve wanted to do yoga for the longest time as I have a very busy mind and I sit down all day. This made me slow down and really take care of my body I feel so refreshed and sleepy now!!
