I just installed a manual in my IS300 - it was a bit different transmission but the same problem. I ended up having to hammer the tunnel from both sides just a tiny bit to make room for the transmission shaft to fit past the pressureplate splines. I had the exhaust headers removed already before and there was just no way to get it in without a bit of denting the tunnel. The splines do bend...so if you force it then it will go in...but then getting it out is near impossible. I think I dented it on both sides less than 1 cm area and depth of 0.5cm...it only needed a tiny bit. Good video, hope this helps You solve it :-)
Yea slides right in for stock. I was doing it alone so took some wiggling and pushing to get it into the clutch disk splines. After that push in to meet dowl pins and bolt up
@@TunerwithKids probably mine didn't since its a J160 with a bellhousing adapter. Looking forward to the video of it! Now you only have to take it out again and film putting it back in with ease 😂 Just joking, I appreciate that you dont hide the hard parts.

Hey there brother what is the part number for that pin as I am doing manual conversion on my supra and the bearing came with the wrong pin cheers
Check video description, I usually list all the stuff.
What did you torque the flywheel bolts to? A lot of mixed opinions on the internet
I’m sure I listed the torque in the video?
@@TunerwithKids my bad I must’ve missed that is it on the description or around what minute?
@@kevincorrea3563 it’s in the chapters of the video starts around 9:55.
What is the thread pitch for the fly wheel bolts or can you send a link
I used OEM Supra bolts but many use ARP too. You can look up MK4 Supra ones.
@@TunerwithKidsthanks just got em
