This Quinn dude knows what he’s doing, makes this stuff seem so easy. However it’s also fun watching Rickie Stylez drop bolts in engine bays, kick over organized bolt containers, and just sending stuff lol different styles, both great content.
Really, really appreciate these more mechanically inclined videos lately
thats all thanks to @M3NACE on YT, he’s taught me so much about the e36 platform. My first car was an is300 so its nice watching him work on the car that i used to have.

Good looking out, those ball joints do fail pretty often and it's not pretty when they do

I need to refer people to this video when they want to "Argue" about preventive maintenance when replacing a Timing Belt. Letting them see what would be involved to get back in and replace those cam seals, crank seal and water pump when you are in there changing out the timing belt just makes so much more sense after just such a video. Especially on a car you don't know the full history on. Great Video!

Yo, maybe an unpopular opinion, but hear me out.... Beams 4cyl vvti Turbo swap. Easy make 400hp and have something that not many people do. Also its a pretty straight forward swap that you can throw cool parts at. (oh and beams are still not that pricey)
Beams 3sge is still decently priced amazingly on the market with tranny still under 3K. It’s actually makes the IS a more balanced car.

If you looking for a front facing intake manifold Chris whitley owns a shop you can find him on Facebook and has developed an affordable option thats designed for the is300 where the only thing that has to be relocated is the power steering and has the availability to use the factory throttle if you choose.
These cars are a pain due to location of the ecu. Looking forward to this project

I’m excited to see what you guys do with this project. I have a 2002 IS300 Sportcross. I have an all aluminum 6.0 LS that will be going into this chassis.

Just bought my 03 IS300 off Copart unsight unseen it was hit on rear, luckily the motor runs like a champ. I just plan on keeping it OEM, OEM+.

I’ve had that same issue where oil got into my coils. When i tell you my car would pop like crazy idek why it did but i ended up cleaning it and my misfire and pops went away
PSA for people working on Toyota/Lexus engines: When you pull spark plugs, look for a geometric shape on the coil side of the plug, that means it's a factory plug. I had a LX450 come in a few months ago with 300k miles on the original plugs, had literally no electrode left but it was still running semi-decently.

Either turbo or 1uz swap with turbo. Keep it pure with all Toyota engine and this gonna be a very interesting build and I’m excited
