    shooting
    1. 1-handed form shooting (5-10 makes per spot)
    * keep your shot the same at every spot
    * keep your shot in a straight line to the basket
    * don’t miss three in a row
    * make adjustments based on the last shot
    * once you start having to start changing your form at a certain range, that is your range limit
    2. 2-handed form shooting (5-10 makes per spot)
    * right to shot pocket and go straight up
    * finish on your toes
    * same form every time
    * focus more on mechanics, less on result
    3. jump shots (5-10 makes per spot)
    * step into shot every time
    * 80% base leg, 20% step foot
    * no flick and follow (releasing the ball on a premature flick)
    ball handling
    1. two hand pound, one hand pass (pound pound pass)
    * alternating hands
    2. two hand pound, one hand pass, crossover (pound pound pass cross cross)
    3. two hand pound, one hand pass, between legs (pound pound pass tween tween)
    4. two hand pound, one hand pass, between legs, behind the back (pound pound pass tween back)
    5. alternating (#2, #3, #4)
    finishing
    1. same foot same hand (right hand right foot, left hand left foot)
    * 2 makes per side
    2. same foot same hand direction change (drive right, change direction, left hand left foot finish, vice versa)
    3. waiter (drive right, change direction, left hand right foot finish/dunk, vice versa)
    4. euro to middle (drive right, euro middle, left hand left foot finish)
    * drive directly toward defender and then step away
    * add ball fake before euro
    5. euro inside hand (drive right, euro middle, finish with right hand (inside hand) left loot, vice versa)
    6. euro direction change (drive right, change direction, drive mid, euro back to right side, right hand left foot finish)
    7. reverse (start right, drive middle, change direction, drive right around the block, open shoulders square to baseline, right hand right foot finish, vice versa)
    8. sneak reverse (start right, drive middle, change direction, drive right around the block, open shoulders square to baseline, left hand right foot finish, vice versa)
    9. sneak (start right, drive middle, change direction, left hand right foot finish, vice versa)
    10. body fake euro (drive right, drop dross (change directions, grab with two hands after cross and euro back to right side), left hand right foot finish, vice versa)
    11. body fake euro to middle (drive right, change directions, drop cross (change directions, grab with two hands after cross and euro back to middle), left hand left foot finish, vice versa)

    Awesome lesson!
    I am interested in one thing though:
    Scot shot basketball made some good points of how in game the best shooters don't shoot the same time in all situations. It depends on distance from the rim, being closely guarded (fadeaways) - the release point changes, the angle changes, hangtime changes - sometimes they shoot 2-motion, sometimes 1-motion. I'd be interested about your take on those?

    The most important things about shooting are balance, consistency and being comfortable. Great shooters have different styles. Some dip the ball(Steph, Ray, Dame) and others don’t(Klay, Kawhi, Reggie Miller). Bird shot the ball behind his head. If you train ball players, make sure you can adjust to different styles period!

    Thanks for the workout coach! I’m really trying to work on my distance, right now Im still trying to work on 3-point shots. I always take a step in and shoot a jump shot. My confidence is one of my biggest weaknesses. I always doubt myself and hesitate. Anyone have any tips on how to improve it? As a female on a all male team it’s hard to not feel judged. It makes me feel shit when I make a mistake and get looked down upon. I’m going to start going outside to the street court on a daily basis.

      You are there for a reason just star changing your mind that you will do it no matter what. Do not let people inflict in who you are. Just forget about your surroundings and focus on you while you're playing and if you know you are doing something wrong make the adjustment. Remember practice makes the master.
