I've owned a couple Sportage over the years and I was always impressed just how capable they are. I only did 3" lifts ( up your kia), with 31's and Warn lockout hubs. I drove/ trailed all over the state of Colorado. Watching this video reminded me of some really good times, and of course some sketchy ones too. Thank you for sharing!

In the PINS video I attempted to do a walk-around, but the wind was so terrible, I will need to do it over. Basically, all I have modified are the differentials, suspension and a few other minor things. Everything is pretty close to factory. Motor, transmission and transfer case have not been touched. 6" of lift, 5.38 diff gears, welded spool rear, Torsen LSD front, forged Aisin hubs, and a few other doodads. I'll make a new walk-around video soon.
@@KiaDave if they're like every other person out there 'wheelin', they'd help you if you ran into trouble. I always did; & I don't think I've ever been refused help, either. Trouble situations can become life-threatening quicker than taking your next breath! That being said, I appreciate & respect your decision to play it cool til a nother day with different circumstances! Most important out there--- BE SAFE! Thanx for the video!!
@@raystanley4329 normally I run with at least a couple other rigs, but on this particular adventure, I was not with a group. The last time I did attempt the obstacle I skipped, I broke the truck pretty badly and I didn't want to hang anyone else up this time.
Original 2.0 gasoline motor, automatic transmission and factory transfer case. 5.38 Picorp diff gears. Yes, it needs more power, for sure, but it's not a rock bouncer, so, I'm ok with going slow. 😉

What kind of lift kit you have on it? nice car
it's not a lift kit, its just a mix of parts. check out the newer videos, i go over some of it, but i need to do a better build video.
If you're 'wheelin' alone, where'd all those tire tracks come from?
It's a park, so, lots of people came through earlier in the day, but I was not with their group.
