Hi! How is this holding up to more demanding games? Horizon forbidden west, plague tale etc? I found some numbers in the internet, but I’m interested in your opinion how this handles modern aaa games.
Seems like an awesome machine! Personally I don’t want OLED, so it would be perfect for me - just some little things like the down-firing speakers I still need to consider 😅 awesome review btw! Here in Germany the 32 GB version is available. Unfortunately it seems like Asus laptops are EVEN MORE overpriced here - I haven’t seen a G14 under 2000€ 😮
I bought my personal 4070 G14 for 1700€, but that was a "returned model", but it was essentially just brand new. I've seen them under 1900 before, but that's here in the Netherlands :) As for the TUF A14, that 32GB model has a TON of value :o I wish every region had that config
@@crimsontechytNot sure why Asus is so limited beyond the U.S. And, yeah, I also might be wary of OLED, making my stills and videos look amazing out of the box - it feels like you may better color correct/grade them on a bit sh*ttier monitor, because most people will view them on a sh*ittier screen themselves.
Hi! Finally I got my TUF A14 with 32 gb RAM and 2 tb SSD. Everything is nice but there are a few glares on the screen borders. They are visible only on a dark screen as usual. Do you have similar issue?
@@crimsontechyt well, you calmed me down 😁 I compared it with MacBook Air and I’m impressed by a MacBook’s IPS panels which haven’t any bleedings or issues with viewing angles.
Thanks man! You did it! It does seem impressive, but in my country it's overpriced :(. But thats like ALL of the 14 inch gaming laptops so nothing unusual.

"Geometric diamond-shaped cutouts in ultra-thin aluminum underside of the TUF Gaming A14 give a bit of design flair and extra durability, not to mention ample room for air intake."

Ooh i cant really answer that, since you know yourself better than i do :D If you move around a lot and do lots of work on the go, get the G14. you only do stuff at home, get a PC. A PC is also WAYYY cheaper and faster than a gaming laptop

Amazing review but please stop using upscaling, it can be helpfull when playing a really demanding game but its doesnt make sence to turn it on when testing performance
this one has a better overall price to performance beacuse of the latest cpu, having more power and efficiency, and *relatively* less price than the g14. But, i'd choose this if I'm a gamer, g14 still the best overall while also still keeping up with the a14 performance, which is good for productivity, and pro-work. But honestly, this laptop will still rock with basically anything, minus the fact it's lcd(though is 165hz, would have prefer an oled at 120hz considering most games don't reach that high fps, and fps gamers wouldn't play on a small screen).
is the brightness an issue? because i went to the shop to test it and it seemed so dark in the edges of the screen ... thats the only thing holding me back when compared to oled
Pay very close attention to which specs are in that display model... I've read that some lower spec variants (for example Ryzen 7 ones) have lower brightness screens. In this spec (with the Ryzen 9), brightness is very good, and not an issue.
Unfortunately that Intel chip just runs hot. You could maybe power limit it and keep the fans running at 100%, but that's just the way it's designed :/
It looked like my TUF F15 3050-2024 variant. I purchased mine a week ago and the agent said its an F15 2024 variant. It has same keyboard layout as yours. The logo at the back is different though, mine have an imbossed TUF logo...
