i really like how asus decided to make a downgraded g14 for ppl with less budget so therer more ppl can enjoy good quality 14 inches laptop without spending too much since ROG is quite expensive in many regions
Unfortunately the G14 doesn't have a fingerprint sensor. I said it had one by mistake in my original reciew, but it only has facial recognition with Windows Hello 🥲
i need it for uni ... the question is will the oled screen hold for 4 years? and is it better for the eyes than ips or worse? ... thanks btw for answering the previous question
Hi, Emi. Hold for 4 years? I hope so. Since ASUS using a panel from OLED in 2022, i see a little bit of user complaining about durability of this screen. So it Will be. And, if we research in YT or others social media, OLED has less of blue light, so it's safe for our eyes. Especially for us that using monitor more than 5-6 hours perday.
I dont know if it would have beaten the G14 if it had a 4070. It would have been margin of error, the G14 4060 and 4070 are already as close as this review shows. Most scenarios on this system are GPU limited and a new CPU isnt going to give much more FPS.
I'm confused to choose between two - in India, tuf a14 has 32gb ram/rtx4060, 2gb storage while g14 has 16 gb ram and 1 gb strogae with rtx 4060 for the same price. I do not know which one to choose, I do prefer g14 but can't decide. Help me Guys, or should I wait. I did searched for 32 gb variant but there is none. Both are price at 2000 dollars in India. There's literally no space for another one in there, it has a nearly identical layout to the a14 but the space the a14 uses for an extra m.2 slot is taken up by a third cooling fan in the g14.
@@Cykadelia sure, vapor chamber could solve this probleme , but unfortunately they don't use it , if they will in 2025 models than i will buy one otherwise don't , i realy think that vapor chamber should be a minimum by any modern laptops I think a dream specification looks like this: - 14" today's minimalist design is really good, it could stay that way - minimum 144mhz oled display - metal case of course - 2x M.2 SSD - +1type c in terms of ports - CPU: AMD AI 9 - 4090 RTX - of course vapor chamber cooling solution, but if they were able to integrate an extra external water cooling connection like in the case of XMG, that would be brutal IF they could put all this in this 14" case, that would be wonderful
Did you compare the fps between gaming on the 2 laptops on 1440 resolution? Also, early reviews on G14 mentioned high pitched fan noise. Did you notice that on either of these?
Yes, but the numbers you see in the video are for full hd. My G14 doesnt have a high pitch noise, but compared the the G16 it may have a slightly higher pitch.
@@crimsontechyt Thanks for the reply! How did the fps compare at 1440 resolution? Was the gap between the fps closer are farther compared to the fps shown for 1080? Also, did the A14 have less high pitched fan noise compared to the G14?
@@VT-64 It's around a 15-20% difference in FPS, which for me would be almost identical if I didn't compare them side to side. The A14 and G14 have almost the exact same fan layout, so I didn't really notice any difference :)

How would you fit an Ethernet cable???
please compare G14 to Legion Slim 5 14. These two are the best 14inch in my opinion.
I will soon!
@@crimsontechyt thank you
Please review asus vivobook oled s14 to vs tuf a14
Are you planning to do a lenovo legion laptop review soon?
I hope crimsontech Will compared to Legion too.
have you tried the hp omen 14 yet?
Yes! I did a full review and comparison of it :)
g14 is £100 more expensive, both come with 4060,32gb but a14 comes with AI HX 370 and 2TB SSD while g14 comes with 8945HS and 1TB SSD but it's better looking, I've no idea which one to choose and I hate it when they make it so difficult on purpose, why are you trying to confuse your customers, you should make it easy to pick up a device
Hmm I'd pick the G14 any day for the OLED and better build quality :)
@@crimsontechyt cheers for the input
i really like how asus decided to make a downgraded g14 for ppl with less budget
so therer more ppl can enjoy good quality 14 inches laptop without spending too much since ROG is quite expensive in many regions
How is the SSD performance? Read and Write rate for TUF A14?
I don't know, many tech reviewer never talk about this in details. But i think, it Will be the same with G14.
Is the tuf a14 screen bright like asus zenbook
Nuclear bomb vs Coughing baby
HAHAHA
What do u do with all these laptops??
Maybe he Will sell it.
Crimson I have a question. I've been unable to get the power button fingerprint sign in to work on my G14. Any suggestions?
Unfortunately the G14 doesn't have a fingerprint sensor. I said it had one by mistake in my original reciew, but it only has facial recognition with Windows Hello 🥲
FYI, G14 don't have any finger print sensor. Only windows hello 😊
Which one is better? Lenovo thinkbook 14+ ai 2024 rtx 4060? Or asus tuf a14?
Booth of them are great! But, i use G14 & tested A14. I think A14 is better than Thinkbook 14+ AI. And also A14 more cheaper in my region.
7:31 is that you, Leclerc?
HAHAHAHA
i need it for uni ... the question is will the oled screen hold for 4 years? and is it better for the eyes than ips or worse? ... thanks btw for answering the previous question
@@kingjulian111 thanks
Please do a review on Lenovo Legion Slim 5 (14" OLED)
I'm planning to!
@crimsontechyt Great! Eagerly waiting!
when will RTX50m gpus release ?
9-11-2025
I'm guessing early 2025, since that's when all the new laptops release
@@crimsontechyt maybe CES
When connected do you feel static?
No
a14 vs neo 14 please. =D
I dont know if it would have beaten the G14 if it had a 4070. It would have been margin of error, the G14 4060 and 4070 are already as close as this review shows. Most scenarios on this system are GPU limited and a new CPU isnt going to give much more FPS.
Maybe because of A14 using a new processor.
@@kingjulian111 no thats the G14 4060 to G14 4070, its already that close as is.
I rather want plastic than aluminum, aluminium so easy get dents, plastic donts, it just break, but at a much higher force, than alu gets dents.
Yes
If the difference is 400 £ , is the g14 worth spending that much?
For me it is, but i cant speak for you :,)
I'm confused to choose between two - in India, tuf a14 has 32gb ram/rtx4060, 2gb storage while g14 has 16 gb ram and 1 gb strogae with rtx 4060 for the same price. I do not know which one to choose, I do prefer g14 but can't decide. Help me Guys, or should I wait. I did searched for 32 gb variant but there is none. Both are price at 2000 dollars in India. Need help
I am in the same predicament. I am trying to get g14 32gb from Dubai.
@nsudhir_here if ye can get, go for it broda. But careful of tax💀 ye know how our tax system is.
why asus why you can't put 2x M.2 Slots into g14 ??? ?!?!!!!
The 2023 G14 even had upgradeable RAM 🥲
There's literally no space for another one in there, it has a nearly identical layout to the a14 but the space the a14 uses for an extra m.2 slot is taken up by a third cooling fan in the g14.
@@Cykadelia sure, vapor chamber could solve this probleme , but unfortunately they don't use it , if they will in 2025 models than i will buy one otherwise don't , i realy think that vapor chamber should be a minimum by any modern laptops
I think a dream specification looks like this:
- 14" today's minimalist design is really good, it could stay that way
- minimum 144mhz oled display
- metal case of course
- 2x M.2 SSD
- +1type c in terms of ports
- CPU: AMD AI 9
- 4090 RTX
- of course vapor chamber cooling solution, but if they were able to integrate an extra external water cooling connection like in the case of XMG, that would be brutal
IF they could put all this in this 14" case, that would be wonderful
asus zypherus perfect laptop
Yes, i have this one. And G14 was my Perfect laptop, ever ❤
Do scar 18
@@crimsontechyt thank you for the info!!
Asus tuf gaming A14 th best 💪
But Oled Laptops have burn in!!!! That is a point I cant get over
oh hey nice vid btw also im abood al burami i changed my account name and stuff :)
arent you scared of the oled brun?
No, not at all
Team 'Thumpy'' keyboard... But also, Team 32GB...
but asus tuf the prices away too expensive tan ROG it self LOL
The Asus Tuf is far too close in price to its premium equivalent. Both are overpriced.
