I love how this has the largest storage capacity in any TUF gaming laptop too and it has more than a Zephyrus too despite being lacking in RGB and being smaller, it's a great laptop
It is just "correctly priced". I am not saying cheap or budget. Price of this thing just feels "ok-ish". With other Asus ROG or Pro 14 or 13 inch laptops prices, you just feels like you are getting scammed or something. It is a shame that this laptop does not have metal keyboard deck & no logo at the front. But still - older TUF laptops used to have "WASD" keys in different colour so it was shouting "GAMER" way too much. I am glad they got rid of that design.
I was surprised that Asus nailed it with the TUF A14. Packing so much in a 14 inch laptop is a hard task but they did it. Good screen, a 100W GPU, great battery life. This laptop definitely is on my wish list.
When I travel, I wish I had a 14" machine to use. But any other time...I sure appreciate the extra size. Love my Legion Slim 7 (AMD). This is a nice looking machine. 100W is more than enough for the 4060. I rarely see my Legion Slim 7 w/ 4060 pull more than 95W.
a product presentation channel only has to encourage the viewer into buying the product, it is your job to do the rest or decide to stop watching the channel
Most YT channels now sponsor ads for OEMs, especially for Windows devices. Apple does not pay reviewers, so you tend to get more detailed, in-depth reviews.
YT'bers need retention, a lot of people would tune out if the price was first. I always pause the video look at the link and if the "budget" product is not within my budget I don't bother watching the video.
$1700 for this RTX 4060 mobile unit. There are RTX 4080 units for the same price, 16". Quite the premium for that "Thin & Light" and overpriced HX 370.
It will go on sale, just like the Zephyrus G14. Plus I personally wont pay that much for a laptop with rtx 4070 but that 4080 you mentioned cheap out in a lot of aspects like thermals or battery life
@mcslender2965 I didn't mention a model, and no, most do not. The 4080 models are discounted higher end units, unlike this 14" model, which is just the "thin & light" tax, aesthetic junk like housing materials and lighting.

How are the temperatures of the laptop so cold specifically in your videos only? Others are getting at least 10c hotter temperatures. Are you sure you're showing the dGPU's temperature? It's either that or you're recording in a frigid room.
I own one and it's a powerhouse. Only cons are really poor and badly placed speakers, not great cooling when it's not placed on a table and missing 64GB RAM/16GB VRAM version. Display is OK (not the best, not the worst). The laptop also eats battery really fast (but that's penalty for power) and necessity for special 200W power supply is not great (USB charging would be better, it's here but just up to 100W) and overall materials and keyboard are worse than on my old Lenovo Yoga. I would wish to have 14" or 15" Lenovo Yoga with HX 370, 64GB and Nvidia GPU with 16GB VRAM and 200W USB charging. That would be perfect laptop. Price is probably fine for this kind of spec, though.

I really wish you wouldn't use framegen in the benchmarks. It really doesn't give a good idea of performance what so ever- like I get that you and others enjoy it. But reviews should show what the hardware is actually capable of. Because 80fps with framegen? Does that mean you're getting 30 or 60 real fps? Because if you're doing 30fps with framegen that feels awful and really isn't good. 60 with framegen works a lot better- I don't like it but it doesn't feel like you're playing on a TV with interpolation on like 30fps with frame gen does. I'm not trying to be rude in the least I just don't see framegen in reviews as useful since you have no gauge how the hardware is actually running it.
