I knew that down pipe was going to give you a little trouble beings you’re about 3/4 of an inch further ahead than mine but I know you’ll come up with a solution. Brings back a lot of memories watching you piece it together. I ended up using a piece of stainless steel sheet metal to go over the transmission that came off of a hospital bed that I had laying around. Keep on putting the puzzle together.
I like the idea of old gauges but not non-functional ones. Floors look good for what they are. Much better looking that they are "bead rolled" and not flat.
Don't worry about, I've used washing machine metal and metal off a hot water heater (all not working) to make panels and fake tanks for the one-off bicycles I build (choppers, lowriders, tall bikes & trikes).
@@Xthreadgarage lol. Great looking truck. I’m working on my first swap. I’ve got a 47 international harvester. There’s more work involved in doing a frame swap than what people realize. I enjoy working on it but I’m ready to drive it down the road.
The f350 superduty is almost 2 feet wider than the 41 cab. Plus it was rusty, so even if it had fit somehow, wouldn’t have used that one. Also, no interest in using modern steering column or dash or wiring harness or heat a/c mess under dash.
@@Xthreadgarage Ok, I was hoping it was football. I have spent many hours on girls' soccer in recent years. So that's my thing up until now. The girls who were born in 2008 are greatly reduced now. So maybe I'm struggling to be a supervisor (material manager) for them now. It's a real shame that so many people take up that sport.
Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.
Beanbag automotive seating ?🤔 Great idea if you ask me . Best idea I've heard in a long time make it so. Ms. Caitlin .

Dad joke for the win!
Great idea for the floors.
Man, my wife is going to miss her washing machine
A wheelbarrow makes a great transformation tunnel
Gonna put that one in the back pocket for later. 😉
an other super amazing video made me smile all way throw ❤❤❤❤
Purdy slick lookin' floor-work from an old washer, I think it gives it that even more of a "Rat" look!
Now I understand thank you. Here in Phoenix we do not see a lot of rust.

Great upcycle fer that washin' machine!
Do you think maybe using some infrastructure for the trans tunnel?
Even 1/2 inch square stock to weld to the firewall and floor?
Yes, when we go to undercoat the truck, I've already thought about some 1/2 inch angle iron to offer some rigidity.
Looking good.
Thanks, I assume you’re talking about me (Steve) but I can let K8lynn know if you were referring to her truck. 😉

What did the frig end up doing ? LOL
😆 find out next week…
I am curious as to why you did not use the floor and firewall from the donor truck?

Isn’t the washing machine metal some kind of galvanized metal? Probably why it didn’t weld so properly
Football match?
Have a Nice day
I don’t understand.

@geir.mathello if you’re referring to K8lynn, she plays basketball. Not really a sports guy, so I’m not sure I understand your reference.
