If you are sharing my TH-cam videos - THANK YOU!! My goal is to spread awareness and help others through my journey as much as I can. Cancer is silent, sneaky and scary. When I found out that I had stage 2 breast cancer, invasive ductal carcinoma, the first thing I did was go on TH-cam and search what to expect & what am I going to look like on chemo, how am I even going to survive this treatment plan, etc…so I truly hope that my journey helps someone who feels scared, lost, or has “fear of the unknown”, whatever they’re looking for to find inner peace, I hope they can find it through me and my journey. We are all in this together, we are family, we are fighters and we will WIN this battle together! 🙏🏻💕😊

Been through it twice, once in 2016 and once in 2024. Once in each breast, so two different cancers which means that I am high risk now for cancer anywhere. Bri you are such an inspiration and have such a great attitude and a beautiful smile. So glad you are almost done, Yeah. 🎉❤

Not to scare you hon because its rare but I developed Lupus from taxol. So much I didn't know 🙄. Happy you're doing well❤ also I just got my PET scan back and I'm 100% cancer free!!! 🙌🙌 Thank you Jesus ❤
I don’t want to discourage anyone but I had a clean read petscan and cancer was growing in my skin… started as a pimple size…. I trust time … 5 years or 10 and I will use those words” 100% cancer free”…. Until then… I’ll pray. So if you are 5 or 10 years free, god bless, I hope to be in your shoes…
@@AU-vl1vi I've had it 3 times in 4 years so I take every single day as it comes. I'm not waiting for that long to say that! As of today, I am truly cancer free. Tomorrow comes with its own problems. Day by day, that's the only way I can live and be happy 😊. And I am.
How was it determined that it was caused by radiation rather than unfortunate coincidence?
I’m so proud of how well you are doing. I was fried to a crisp and could do absolutely nothing but lay in bed. Keep it up my friend. You are doing fantastic.

I had a really difficult week taking care of my elderly father. He has to be on constant auction and it’s a lot to learn and to get him comfortable. I sat down and watched your video after I felt overwhelmed. You are absolutely amazing. I want to thank you for giving me a boost of energy

Hi Bri you have no idea how much you have helped me through my breast cancer journey. I just started my first A/C OF 4 before surgery in September ,the nausea is unbearable even though I have meds, I cant seem to drink water ughh. Love you girl, God bless you ,I've been following you since the beginning.
Thank you for sharing your journey, Bri. I just finished 12 weeks of taxol and will be doing 4 treatments of A/C starting Monday ( I'm I Canada, so no long weekend for me )
But I am so excited to be halfway through my chemo journey. Your positive attitude and energy have definitely helped me get through my treatments, so once again, a big thank you.

Hi! You’re doing great! Don’t forget to check your upper back. My radiation burns went through to the back and I still have new freckles there 6 months out. Happy bell ringing on Monday!🎉

Hi Bri , thank you so much for responding and letting us know what to expect!! You mentioned Aquaphor which I have but I was told to use fractionated coconut oil which was something I'd never heard about. I also have Calendula so I guess I can alternate and apply at least 4 times a day. Your armpit looked a little sore and you have one last series to go so I was curious how that area will hold up. I too have to have a scar zap at the end so maybe they will just do that area and leave my armpit alone especially since I was originally at 25 rounds but they upped it. Mine was a double mastectomy so am 1 month out from surgery and my steri tape is still stuck to the incision line but they said I can still get radiation. :)
Proton radiation targets just the area to be zapped whereas regular radiation hits a wider area and can not be as directed. Usually when I see videos of girls with a rectangular sunburn on the shoulders down their back the radiation will go through the front and come out the back. That is my understanding of it. That is why I drove out of town to have proton therapy radiation because it is more targeted. :)
Hi Brie, been following you along. You’re almost there! You are getting the same burn patterns that I got. Armpit and clavicle. Unfortunately they will continue to worsen for a few weeks after your radiation is done. The clavicle became a very tender open wound for me. I hope it doesn’t get that bad for you. Ask your radiation doc for a prescription for flamazine and start putting it on thickly when your home now.

I have not seen the video yet but after my chemo I have more tooth ache than ever im like should I pull them all out 😢
Chemo made my teeth ache for a few weeks. My nurses couldnt explain it since its not a documented side. It also gave me lupus 😕. Hang in there!

Well done for doing 5weeks of radiation! I have been on zoladex and abermeciclib for 2years, because I was not in a good shape when I was diagnosed, most of my tumours has disappeared on this treatment, only armpit left, so I probably might not need a mastectomy, my surgeon might be able to recontruct my breasts with what I already have. I am doing my MRI tomorrow and seeing my surgeon on the 3rd of June to discuss surgery. I was just wondering, I normally don't use any lotions on my skin but I wanted to try aquaphor as you have mentioned. When do you put it on, after you shower?
I wanted to try aquaphor for my radiation, I meant. I will be doing radiation after surgery.
