I have followed your journey! I also had invasive ductal carcinoma that had spread to lymph. Did chemo, surgery and now doing radiation. I am on day 10 of 33. I have had very bad allergies (I live in Texas) ever since starting radiation. Everyone an hear me coughing on the table. It's just awful! They said don't let go, just cough in the air so we don't have to keep moving you. Humiliating really. Today I finally had no coughing which was a miracle! Good luck to you!!!!! and me 💜
May I ask are you in Houston? I’m in Katy, Tx… 13yrs ago I too went through this journey too. You aren’t alone. I will be keeping you in my prayers xoxoxo
I have been following your journey. It is so helpful for me to follow you, as you are a few months ahead of me in the same treatment: AC-T chemo (on week 2 of Taxol - praise cheeses that AC is over!!), surgery, radiation, and then at least 5 years of hormone suppression. I just came here to say: "Yay for 'BORING!'" "Boring" means everything is cruising along without a hitch, and with no drama. I think of you often on this journey. If you ever feel any strong health and happiness vibes coming your way from Tennessee - that's most likely me! I'm always sending it. Take care of your lovely self.
I just love & adore you, Bri❣️You have the Best, most Positive Personality! I’m a retired RN (also Italian!) & use to call my patients ‘Sweetie-pie!’ Put a 😊 on their faces! Have you researched any Alternative Treatments! with or without the oncology protocols! My daughter was dx’d w/Breast Cancer (stage 2) one year ago. She is 49. She has had a year of txs & now on a ‘monoclonal antibody/ for HER2+ Thank you for sharing! I love your videos & I know you’ve helped lots of women! God Bless you & Keep you in His Care…🙏🌹😘
Hi brilliant Bri. I don't think your vlog could ever be boring. Its the highlight of my week watching you kick cancers ass. I hope you and your family are feeling better soon, your mum's lovely and so is your daughter. Impressed by your eye lashes and your hair, and i can't wait for you to ring the bell. Geoff
Hello Bri! Thank you again for letting me follow your journey, your video wasn't boring to me, you always make me smile! Continued thoughts & prayers for you. Love from Michigan!🎉😊❤
I have COPD and asthma and I was terrified that I would cough during radiation and they would end up radiating a major organ because of my moving. It didn't happen though thank goodness
Hello! Yay for eyelashes. I got some burns on my clavicle and my upper back from the under the arm rads. You can ask the radiation folks to show you your boost plate. It is a lead plate that goes into the gantry that allows the collumnators to just radiate the boost area. I took a photo of my boot plate. I am glad that your treatment is going so well. Sorry about the allergies :( Your team of doctors are amazing. Oh and once you are done with the rads, rubbing alcohol will take the ink and sticky stuff off your skin. Super easy. I love your upbeat attitude and that you are sharing your story. The day you and your daughter ring the bell will be epic. ♥♥Oh and your videos are never boring.
Looking great Bri, I'm jealous of your hair growth, mine seems to be taking forever !!! Had my last radiation today woo hoo !!! Looking forward to getting some form of normal life back again. Lots of love xxx
I found having a piece of dentyne ice (black package) gum seemed to help me hold back any cough while laying on the radiation table. You might want to try it
Hey Bri! I’m Italian too! Also have 3 yorkies! We are kindred spirits! Glad your radiation is going well! You’ve passed the halfway mark now yay! Noticed in your “drawing” picture your scars are vertical. Mine are horizontal. I recall my plastic surgeon telling me before surgery there was a reason they would go one way vs the other but heck if I remember what it was 😂 thanks again for staying so positive and informative for all of us here following along with your journey!
Hi Brie, get you some Alka seltzer plus cold and sinuses. Plop plop fizz fizz, oh what’s a relief it is. The work great for allergies. Although they can make some a bit drowsy. So sorry I missed your live. Praise God your doing soooo great thru Radiation, as so so many have a horrible time.
I love seeing your natural hair, mine came back like a blonde ash.. very silver. Yours is dark and thick! Beautiful. I pray for your allergies to subside.❤
So Brie, Have you thought about doing a vlog of your daily life before and after radiation Tx’s? Just wondering. I live in n appt and have to park outside with no covering and my black car is green as the pollen is so high. It seems worse everywhere this yr. This weather has been so crazy, prayers you feel better.
I totally think you’re so cool I’m telling you we would be the best of friends and I don’t dig too many women lol..always have had guy friends 😂..you’re so real!..appreciate to see and hear you be so real❤..wish I lived in your town
Lady! You make this radiation running look so easy and quick on video! I went a few days ago and got all the stickers and pre stuff for radiation. Start on the 28th. I may have missed you saying, but did you have to do the mupirocin ointment up your nostrils 2 times a day, and bath in the clorhexidine every day, every other week? Also my “boost” will be at the beginning of radiation. Thank you once again for sharing your experience!
You look so beautiful. Love your positive personality. I'm so happy you're feeling great through radiation (besides those pesky allergies) I can remember what state you live in. Was it Jersey? I gotta tell you, I just turned 69 yesterday and this is the 1st year I've ever had allergies... thank God. It's horrible!! I live in the Northern California foothills and everything is covered with green and yellow gunk. I've never seen it so bad.
HI Bri ❤!!!Hope yore doing well .God Bless you !!Lol ,I can relate too the allegories, except I almost pee myself 😮..that's a little to.much info ...but I'm getting old too😂 😂😂😂😂
Are you feeling any particular "effects" from the radiation? Other than the (small?) burns? Seem kinda minimal (?) I am so surprised blood levels can be low even months after chemo. Do you have blood cbc regularly still? Thanks for posting this video 😊 I have to giggle about how our ideas change as we get older. I too hit bed earlier...at the time I use to just be going out!🌺
Hi i just started watching your video today ....im 36 years old from south Africa I have seen also a lump under my armpit last week Saturday it's so painful im scared to go to the hospital do you think i can be worried about that lump

Looking wonderful, Bri!!! I hear ya on the spring allergies. Lots of people having issues with it. Hope you feel better soon!
My biggest fear on the radiation table is coughing too! Since chemo trigger a weird constant cough. Tomorrow is my last radiation session! 🎉

Good news - verzenio is not chemotherapy. It still has its side effects but it is not a chemo pill.

Lots of pollen here in Missouri 😢
Your (real) hair looks cute. Even when you're done with radiation, you will continue to burn. Lotion, lotion, lotion!
