Canister Shell Rack Build (24 & 18 Shot Tutorial)

  • In this video, I build a 24 and 18 shot canister shell rack from scratch lumber. I give clear and easy to follow instructions. This can easily be done in your own garage using the proper tools. The pay off is well worth it come the 4th of July. Please hit Like if this video helped you!
    List of Tools & Materials:
    Miter Saw
    Table Saw
    Impact Driver
    Screw Gun
    Jig Saw
    Tape Measure
    Pencil
    Pre-Drill and Countersink Bit
    #8 Deck Screws or similar
    1/2 ply board (use the cheapest you can find). Solid Pine works the best.
    Base Board was scavenged and I don't know it's advertised dimensions. True measurements were 11" x 1 1/2" You can often find these in the "scrap" lumber sections of home improvement stores for around $4.
    Board Dimensions:
    24 Shot Rack:
    Base Board: 24 3/4" x 9"
    Low Side Board: 24 3/4" x 2"
    Upper Side Board: 24 3/4" x 3"
    Inside Top Board: 24 3/4" x 2 3/4"
    18 Shot Rack:
    Base Board: 18 3/4" x 9"
    Low Side Board: 18 3/4" x 2"
    Upper Side Board: 18 3/4" x 3"
    Inside Top Board: 18 3/4" x 2 3/4"
    Face Board:
    14 1/2 x 9 3/8 x 10 3/8
