Building 3 Rocket Racks and Testing Them

I wanted to build 3 quick rocket racks, trying a different style for each type of rocket. For the really small bottle rockets I just wanted to use material that I had on hand and put something together that could hold 10 rockets at a time. For the rockets that are a step above bottle rockets I wanted to try and make a design that would hold 20 rockets at a time. To accomplish this I used 2 eye hooks at different points on the sticks hold them straight up in the stand. For the larger rockets I wanted to try and see how well I like a design with 3/4" PVC to hold the rockets straight up. My personal favorite out of these 3 was the eye hooks but I'm still looking into better designs to try. My least favorite stand was the one for the larger rockets. I think it would have been much better if it held more rockets. A lot (maybe all) of the directions on rocket packs say put rockets at a 75° angle, so take that into consideration when building your own racks.

All three look great! Over built to be super sturdy and give you years of safe enjoyment with them! The only change I would do personally is put them at a slight angle to aim the rockets down range a little more (personal preference I just have had some rockets go crazy on me) Well done on them!! Just got to the very end and you mentioned that so just ignore me :)

Thank you! Yeah I find myself leaning towards over building things lol. I'm looking to weld a metal rack (nothing too crazy). I just have to come up with a design I really love for it 😁

Would it be safe to use the rockets you used in the 3rd rack, in the 2nd rack with larger screw eyes?

I think it should be safe. I would personally adjust the height for the longer sticks on the larger rockets, and like you said, I would also use the larger eye screws. I kinda like that idea better because then you don't have to fool with moving the loose pieces of PVC that have rocket residue on them.
