    I'm a psychotherapist. IMO, this is extremely well crafted with careful use of clean language. I highly recommend it and commend the author. Actually, it's the best one I've come across.

    I chose to listen to another of your sessions to help me loose weight (working a treat) but there thought I would try this for my 16yr old daughter who has dyspraxia and has had problems getting off to sleep for many years. I'm overwhelmed with the result she is having the best full nights sleep that I think she has ever had. Such a precious gift you have and I'm so grateful of it.

      Thank you so much for your comment; it is the best to know these are helping yourself and your daughter and I'm touched to know that this has helped. The weight loss program came from a personal space of my own work to overcome anorexia and serial dieting and I was first a hypnotherapy client for insomnia after suffering myself for more than a decade so I'm beyond thrilled to read my work is helping others sleep well and attain health and a healthy weight.     A few months ago I discovered sleep hypnosis; your channel was one of the first I listened and subscribed to, and it remains my favorite. I absolutely love your voice, metaphors, and turns of phrase. Having someone tell me that there is nothing to worry about and no one to take care of, and that everything I lay down now will be there in the morning, etc., really helps me let go, be in the moment, relax and ultimately fall asleep.
    I tend to grind my teeth during sleep, and not only do I disturb my partner, but of course I'm damaging my teeth and I often wake up with a terrible jaw- and headache. Since I've been regularly listening to your videos, I do not have that pain anymore, and strongly suspect that my teeth-grinding is either stopped altogether or substantially lessened.
    Your sleep hypnosis videos have also helped my 11-year-old daughter, who has always had trouble falling asleep. She particularly likes the one in which you "send thoughts away as boats," and rarely wants to listen to any others. They never fail to help her restless mind and body calm down long enough for her sleepiness to take over, and the relaxation skills she is learning are going to serve her well as she grows up, I know.
    OK, one last rave! A week ago I underwent surgery for a total hip replacement. When I awoke from the anesthesia, I was absolutely terrified -- in excruciating pain, confused about where I was and what was happened, and just generally petrified. I was being given doses of opiates for the pain, and I had a nurse there helping me understand that I was OK and had come through surgery just fine, but what really helped me the most was remembering some of the breathing techniques from your videos. I told myself to breathe in "calm, cool air" and to breathe out "any heat or remnants from the day." Within just a few breaths I was able to relax enough that the IV pain meds started working better, which of course lowered the pain and helped me relax and calm down even more. So thank you for helping guide me through a truly scary experience!

      You're so welcome. I was an insomnia sufferer for more than a decade too and hypnosis / guided mediation was the only thing that worked. I can also recommend, if you like guided imagery, the latest sleep recording specifically for people who have over-accelerated minds at times, which includes me. :) I really aim to put myself in the listener's place and this has a lot of convincers to get mind and body to slow down.     I'm a woman and I have to admit, I usually prefer meditations with a male voice. I just find it more calming. But not anymore. My goodness, this is my absolute favorite video now. I love your voice, I love your pacing and intonation, and I love your method. My mind often races at night, and those thoughts can keep me awake. But I've never gotten more than a few minutes into this video before falling asleep. Thank you so much 💛💛💛

    Ok desperate insomniac here, I have actually resorted to TH-cam to help me sleep because it has been a year since I had a decent night's sleep and honestly this is pretty good for what it is. I felt it working even though I didn't go to sleep, but you know it's not gonna fix my melatonin levels.

    After many months of unsuccessful, frustrating, effort to find relief from debilitating insomnia (tried EVERY sleep aid known, and no ... Sleep Studies DO NOT address insomnia), and having almost resigned myself to a life with Ambien that "knocked me out" but did not offer restoring sleep, happy to report that your presentation has provided the only cure. Can you do an expanded presentation on the process of retraining one's brain & body to return to prerequisite profile for sleep? It's gotten to the heart of the matter for me.     I don't have trouble getting to sleep but sometimes wake sometime between 1 and 3 and have trouble getting back to sleep. I've been listening to your various sleep hypnosis/meditations which are all very helpful. I love your soft soothing voice and your script. I feel I can trust you with my subconscious mind. ☺ This version is my favourite and I listen to it often before I go to sleep (and fall asleep almost immediately) and sometimes in the middle of the night. Last night I think I stayed awake longer; you mention that it's a taster for a longer version that has "deepeners" that ensure that you stay asleep. Can you tell me specifically.which one and where I can download it. Thank you so much for your work.

    Also, I love the video and will definitely listen to it more as it helps me calm down and listening to you helps me forget my worries, but it is usually hard to breath through my nose and when I'm relaxed I feel an itch, pain in my leg, or like I have to sneeze. Do you know any ways to help with those?

      It sounds like your conscious mind is trying to interfere with relaxation. Unusual itches are very, very common as you relax. I would say silently "every itch, every twitch, sends me deeper into relaxation, after every itch is done I go deeper towards sleep" or words to that effect. We can use movement to trigger relaxation. Hope that helps.

    I'm so sad to say it didn't work for me... but I think it was because of some tummy pains I was having. which I actually didn't realise was there until I had listened for just about 5 min.... My body and head was simply too restless :/

    Do you have any more relaxing ways to lie down cuz I find when I lie on my back I breath out and then my chest drops weird, I know, but very hard to explain it like breathing 2 breaths out but the second one has more of an un relaxed feel. When I lie on my side I find that I become hot much quicker when trying to relax. I cant lie on my front as I have asthma witch makes me feel suffocated when lying on my front. Any Ideas?. By the way I love this video the first time I listened I was in a paralyzd half conscious state of sleep and I feel like the world dissapears when I listen.

      I would say worry less about finding the right position and focus more on listening to whichever of my sessions works for you. The beauty of hypnotherapy is that, unlike meditation, you don't have to be still, or disciplined, or focused. It's like meditation amplified x 10 because it has embedded relaxation techniques. You yourself will know what feels best, find that position and filter out any of my messages that do not fit with the position you are in, or change them to work for you. People get too focused on following each and every message and that's not the point. Just give it time and adjust yourself and adjust the messaging to work for you.

      on a different note, visit a physician and get a check done for respiratory problems. I had same issue and later on i was diagnosed with asthma. I am not saying that you have asthma, but a check up never harms anyone.

    Wonderful video....I have listened to this so many times....does anyone know a natural remedy to stop panic attacks...20 years of suffering with them is wearing me out...it's getting unbearable😢😢😢

      Go to gym and do compound exercises... Especially deadlift and squats.
      Do meditation daily and 15 minutes of pranayam.
      Slow yourself and always smile with no reason. Panic attack will go in no time. Leave medicines slowly.

      Justtubingby - I use earbuds with soft plastic pads that don’t hurt my ears and generally pull out by themselves once I’m asleep. Sleeping without a pillow works for me, and I tend to sleep on my back anyway. But I don’t think it matters whether you stay on your back or not - just whatever gives you the best sleep experience.       I sympathize with you. B/c of my lower back i literally can only sleep on my side. I can only lay on my back 10-15 minutes before becoming extremely uncomfortable & begin experiencing anxiety.

      You probably just got too used too it now you can’t pay attention so your mind wanders to other crap and keeps you awake. The same thing happened to me I’ve just found that if I switch between videos it helps and then I have to switch again

      That's quite normal and nothing to worry abut. No one recording will work for everyone otherwise I would just do one sleep recording. : ) Everyone has different preferences. Check out the sleep playlist: some have imagery, some not, some people like count downs and some do not, some prefer female voice, others male and so on....(if you don't like a female voice I can't change that :) ) We all have different triggers to relax and fall asleep.
