@@timmartin3796 Nah I'd say the side that steals dreams is the one that forces little girls to give birth to rape babies (republicans) but really its all of them.
I haven't heard this song in about 15 years, but when it started playing I found myself singing every word from memory. That's just how great the song is.
Ronnie stated in numerous interviews that this was the best song he ever wrote he also stated that the song is about the ability of each human being to choose between doing good and doing evil; essentially, that each person has "heaven and hell" inside themselves.
I was 10 when I heard the self titled debut album from Sabbath...even then, in 1970, I knew I was going to be a rocker for life...I eventually became an FM radio jock, and my favorite station to work at was a classic rock station...right in my wheelhouse, and for 30 years, I played rock and roll to the multitude of listeners who knew the music front to back, and new converts to classic rock, "wow you guys had great bands back then" was one of my favorite drops, from listeners...that's why I'm drawn to these reaction video's especially the rock I grew up with, just to vicariously re-enjoy watching someone else discovering "our" music...hey...Rock ON!!!
That actually is my favourite Dio-era Sabbath song. It’s absolutely incredible. Others: “I”, “Children of the Sea”, “The Mob Rules”, “Sign of the Southern Cross”.
Imo probably Black Sabbaths greatest album right here. Best lead vocalist turnover in history. I love me some Ozzy, But Dio just had something that no one else ever had, before or since. Miss you Ronnie.
My favorite Dio lyric, " the world is full of kings and queens who blind your eyes and steal your dreams, it's heaven and hell.". My favorite Dio song ever is "Last In Line."
The Godfather of Heavy riffs knuckles you out on solos with two missing fingertips like there's no tomorrow! Mr. Tony Iommi.... "Die Young" from the Era of RJD in Black Sabbath 🤟😎 Cool reaction män. Cheers from Finland 🇫🇮 🥶 💯 💙
My friend has been a fan of black sabbath for like 30 years and ironically his full name is Ronnie James David and when he became a father he named his son Dio like Ronnie James Dio
Favorite Dio era Sabbath - "Sign of the Southern Cross", "I", "Lonely is the Word", "Children of the Sea" - "Bible Black" (but under Heaven & Hell - still Sabbath)
@@kevinsteadman7215 might have been better if they came up with the Heaven & Hell name earlier in their career, but you can't deny that the Dio era with BS wasn't outstanding.
I know it's been a couple years since you reviewed this, but....This track still makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck... it's great to see other generations jam to this tune as well...🤘🏻
Exceptional piece of music. Iommi is a rock god. i remember performing this and "Neon Knights" on stage, in front of millions of adoring fans, as a teenager. In front of the mirror, playing a tennis racket, of course. Iommi´s riffs and AC/DC´s.
Wooohoo YEA loved this concert LIVE , still on my playlist & I still have my Concert T shirt …. Way to go bro RIP RONNIE JAMES DIO !!!! watching from NZ ….
This is one of my top favorite Sabbath songs with Dio. This entire album is awesome. When I was a teenager their were no music videos. We listened to new songs endlessly. As a consequence we've memorized the lyrics. If I hear the music. I can sing the lyrics.
Just blows your mind doesn't it? Heavy metal is awesome and it always has been. I'm 60 years old and going to metal concerts since I was 14. May Ronnie James Deal rest in peace there will never be another just like him I am glad to have seen him live several times. I wish you were there to experience it you would have fell in love. Live long and prosper.
I still can't get over how actually deep the lyrics are... I like a lot of Dio era Sabbath that I've heard... he gave them a different vibe but I think Ozzy had that dark/haunting vibe Dio doesn't...they both sound good with the band.
When I seen you did this song I knew you would love it,your the only person who reacted to this song that understood what the lyrics meant, keep on rocking!!!
What people don't realize is that when Ozzy left in 79 Black Sabbath's producer manager left also. Blue Oyster Cult's original manager (Sandy Pearlman) was hired and helped bring DIO from RAINBOW to BS. He also was the one who put the original 1981 "Black and Blue" tour (Black Sabbath and Blue Oyster Cult) on which they were performing this album. Listen to "The Temple of the King" "Gates of Babylon" "Stargazer"
My favorite Sabbath songs with Dio are this one and Lonely is the Word. I must say when I hear Dio Sabbath songs I don't feel like I'm listening to Sabbath. Feels more like I'm listening to his other band Rainbow or his solo songs. Both of which you should explore. Plenty of good stuff
But HE HAS TO listen to 'A Light in The Black' after Stargazer. Very important as its part two of Stargazer. Have only seen one other reactor do the two together.
Got this album like 84’ deep into old sabbath. I was 14. Greatest band. Ever. Got Ozzy solo albums in 82 … right after Randy died. By friend then said he bought sold soul for rock n roll. He said you wouldn’t believe whose the singer. Ozzy. Crazy way to discover I was like what. ??!! 8 more Ozzy albums. ?? !!
The song, "I" (pronounced like eye) is a monster of a song from the Dehumanizer album. I consider it one of the hidden gems from the Sabbath and Dio catalogs.
Dio rejoined Black Sabbath in 1992 for the album Dehumanizer which is very under rated. TV Crimes is probably the best known song from that album. Would be thrilled to see a reaction to it.
Fun fact about this album: the recording studio they recorded it at was across the street from a strip club. They would take the mixes across the street and if the girls liked it, they kept it.
I was a Senior in HS when the Black and Blue tour rolled into Milwaukee and tore the Arena to pieces. Chairs were being tossed and burned , trees yanked out of the ground, phones ripped the walls. A true riot, had to have eyes behind your head to get out of there unscathed!
Subbed because of this right here! Been listening to Black Sabbath since I was a twelve year old little girl, but when Dio joined the band I was hooked. Dio was the best thing that EVER happened to Black Sabbath. It don't get no better than this. Ronnie James Dio was/is a Metal God, and the best frontman that ever walked this planet. More Dio era Black Sabbath please! A great one to check out is "Lonely Is The Word." Live version. You won't regret it. BTW,, your channels are fire! 🤘🏼🔥
Ronnie James Dio (RIP) one of the greatest to ever stand on a stage. After Ozzy left in the late 70s, Dio helped carry that band. But there were also other singers who added to the Sabbath legacy. We don't have anything like that anymore. In 1970 a movie cane out called Black Sabbath, that's where the band got their name. There is a self titled song from that year they made called Black Sabbath. In the song guitarist Tony Iommi uses the flatted fifth chord. Some people believe it's Satan's chord. It's hardly used in the music world. The story behind the song Black Sabbath as far as I know, was an event that happened to the bassist Geezer Butler, he was big into the Occult and one night he said that he saw a demonic presence in his bedroom that had red eyes. Ozzy's voice in the song really sells it. The song is worth a listen.
This is my favorite . Best line to me is "The world is full of Kings and Queens who blind your eyes and steal your dreams".
Happens every day in Washington DC
In our world those kings and queens are in congress 😳
Always has been

Children of the Sea. Great song of this album.
This is high school rock for me.

Tony Iommi is the undisputed heavyweight riff master of this world!! Has been for over 50 years and no one has touched him since. LEGEND!!!
Sign of the Southern Cross, the Mob Rules, and Children of the sea. The first two songs are off the Mob Rules album
Totally agree also add this one is top 5 and I would also add Neon Knights and underrated Lonely is the Word.
Plus, Falling Off The Edge Of The World.

*RAINBOW - Stargazer* .. is truly DIO's best song. .. EPIC SONG!
