Great advice. I always book a year and a half to sometimes 2 years out so I have my cabin of choice and a low deposit. The time flies by. I have primarily sailed with Carnival and have their credit card. So I set up automatic payments each month while also getting points on my Carnival credit card.
Great tips I also use airline cruise websites to look for deals. That’s how I ended up solo on the Disney wish. I desperately needed a mini vacation last year and decided to check out AAs cruise offerings and found a great deal for a 3 night cruise out of Orlando and I only booked 2 weeks out. It ended costing me $900 for a suite and I surprisingly had a great time. I’m sailing on the treasure in May but this time I’m bringing my niece lol I decided I needed a kid!
Hi Cheryl 😊. Great information as always. I myself have found that cruising at certain times during the year (as you have mentioned before, lol), can also be a big savings. Cheapest times to book for me has been in the beginning of the year (1st few months), the end of summer and hurricane season (as you have mentioned as well, lol), and right before the end of year holidays like in December before Christmas. Take care and Happy cruising 😁.
Solid tips! I definitely book wayyyyy out in advance. The only downside is another cruise that you want to take may pop up but the price will always be right the earlier you book.
Yes! Initial prices are higher than before but still, generally speaking, the lowest they will be. It’s good to catch promotions and individual promotions on your account. Every little bit helps these days!
Me and my boyfriend going on our 1st cruise ever in 2 weeks Carnival Venezia. I booked this cruise for us 6 months ago. One thing I've learned for our next cruise is to always use a travel agent. I feel like we didn't save or get any on board credit or anything.

Oh, same here with the booking early! Prices only go up from there and it helps when you want to cruise solo more often!

GM. Appreciate the tips 🤩. We do book a year out but alway grateful when the price occasionally drops and get the adjustment.
Yes that price adjustment is nice!

I'm trying to leave some room now for some last minute or pop-up cruises now! LOL!
I’m s solo traveler, so I try to book a year out but I’ve noticed those prices went up too. Thankfully I get decent offers from time to time.
