I used to bartend in the French Quarter. I got off early one Afternoon, me and a few coworkers went to some bar on Bourdon that did a 3 for 1 happy hour. It was packed. After a while I requested the DJ play some Beastie Boys. Unbeknownst to me they had a new album released the day before. I didn't know this was Beastie Boys at first. The whole bar went ape shit when this song came on, I went and bought this CD the next day.
Wow mate. Huge compliment for you! It's rare I just instantly subscribe to someone first video. You are a very charismatic guy, and laid back. I like that. Thanks man 😁😎👌
3mc's & 1dj was Piped in live as their performance for an Mtv music awards. 1dj, 1 record, 1take, no beat machine. 100 percent pure hip hop from concentrate. Do check out Root down Paul revere Get it together feat Qtip The new style (so you see in this why they let the beat mmmmmmddrrrrrop 😁)
Their first rap album came out in 1986. The whole album was fire. One of the best hip-hop ever made. The beats. Rhyme schemes. Etc were way ahead of their time. They originated a type of style and rarely get the credit they deserve.
The Beastie Boys are three Jewish cats from NYC. They started as a three piece punk band and they carried that energy with them. The Beasties are true MCs, in it for the love.
The Beastie Boys wrote and produced their own music by this time. In earlier albums, Rick Rubin was the producer. (The guy who produced Jay-Z's remake of Ice-T's "99 Problems"). The Beasties picked up a lot from working with Rick.
When rap started up it was quite innocent and respectable. Newcleus , Whodini. I'm sure there is still some now somewhere. I've caught my kids listening to a lot of audio porn and tried to correct them. But it's all about attitude nowadays. Bad attitude. No discrimination in the gangsterization of our nation. To quote myself.
No they’re not still making music, Adam yauch died in 2012, their last album came out in 2011- this song is from 1998, you can’t just go from the year it was uploaded to TH-cam
Have you ever heard of Pete and Bas? Their bars do tend to be gangsta, but they don't swear. I won't spoil it any more if you haven't seen them...start with Mr worldwide. Then go to their even better new stuff.
Love this. Great insight. The Beasties are amazing. The more you look, the more you will find. My favorites are "pass the mic", "sure shot", and "Ill communication" ft q-tip.
"Three emcees and one dj" reaction my dude, Beastie Boys are Legendary. RIP MCA
Mix Master Mike is a fucking terrorist on that track. I can't play it too loud, or my girlfriend gets pregnant.
Just found your channel. Love your message there man. I grew up on these guys, I always love seeing people enjoying the B Boys!!!
The Beastie Boys always bring a smile to my face. Good times.
Beastie Boys are the GOATs man, all fun, positive bangers. Definitely check out "So Whatcha Want", "Shake Your Rump", "Hey Ladies", "Shadrach"....
Three MC's and one DJ... Perfection!
Those guys were pure fun and goofiness from the late 89’s-90’s.
2:37 the robot dancin the robot is just briliant!
Hardly anyone notices that
Fake gangsters aren't hip-hop. Beastie Boys are hip-hop OG's.
Amen brother. The music industry’s greed has choked out originality.

I love your screech owl. Your reaction made me smile. Beastie Boys! Try, “Sabotage”
✨🤘✨
RIP MCA. They did stop making music when he passed away in 2012.
They "fight" with each other quite a lot in their videos and that's all the violence. And they're so respected at the same time
Music back then was about having fun...especially coming from the beastie boys.

Great review/reaction ❤
You want a breakup song/sad song?
Mariah Carey - I Don't Wanna Cry
Toni Braxton - Unbreak My Heart
Listen to either one of these two...they hit hard.
Oooo, you need to check out 'The New Style'!
Me too! I'm not gonna lie, I've always preferred the down and dirty 'Gangsta' rap. NWA and Bone was/are my shit!
I'd like to see your reaction to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons - Oh, What a Night

Nah they all done. One of the bros MCA died from cancer and that was the end of the Beastie Boys.
Paul revere
Nice owl tat
Thank You 😎
Rip mca 😢
This came out in the late nineties, And really sounded great because by that time. Gangsta rap and G funk had taken over hip hop
To many rappers and not enough MCs. Beastie Boys and Nas
Tried to watch mate, but I am not quick enough on that volume. Barely could hear you, and the video was Earth-shatteringly loud.
Makes today's music boring.
✌️❤️🇳🇿
