And most famously known for being in the movie "Mrs Doubtfire", with Robin Williams.. the first scene with his sons birthday party, this is playing! ❤❤❤🎵🎶👊🥰 Watch it, if you've never seen that movie. This song always gives me goosebumps, even after all these years! 👍❤️ Great reaction sir 😍 Btw, I'm 53

    A weird fact about House of Pain nobody can really explain. To the best of my knowledge nobody ever gave them shit for being "white" rappers in the 90's when there basically were none, this was long before Eminem.

      Gen Xers didn’t give a shite about white and black. It was what you had to say and what you brought to the table. We all agreed with what MLK spoke of. Character not colour of skin. Race relations were good.

    One of my fav memories was a few years ago working at a bbq joint in a small tourist town during Mountains, Music and Motorcycles event. A tall, tatted bearded biker type was in line and this songs intro was his ring tone. He didn't answer his phone but muted it and i couldn't help myself, i started busting out lyrics. 😂 we had bikers, teens and a bunch of elderly folk music types yet the whole place started jumping. (Im a 5'2, blonde southern gal, biker was tall and HUGE) And i know every word and have for 20 years. It was a good day ❤🏍 🎶

    I love watching this. The 90s had so much good music. Every genre came with a style. I'm always down for watching people listen to these songs. Even if it's not for the first time. Brings me back to when i was first hearing this stuff. It was all new. Nobody sounded like the besties, or cypress, or de la soul, krs one, tribe called quest... Any of them. The first time we heard all of those groups, was the first time anyone heard that kind of music. Same with rock, metal, alternative.. whatever.
    It was a very creative time. Well worth digging into. And we love taking the trip.

    This rap came out May 1992. I remember because my birthday may18th. At my birthday party, the Saturday after my birthday. We played it, that was the first time I saw my parents dance and jump around. At every party, this rap played at least 50 times. At parties, guys love watching all the girls' tities jumping when they all jump to this song. Y'all, only girls would dance and guys watch the jumping tities..

    Yeah, but.. This song IS about murder. Irish gangs in Boston as opposed to Black gangs in Los Angeles, but still...

    • @CustmBug
      @CustmBug วันที่ผ่านมา

      The song isn’t about murder and has nothing to do with Irish gangs in Boston.

    • @jhamler1
      @jhamler1 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@CustmBug Not about murder? He says: "I shoot to kill... I'm coming to get you, spitting out lyrics, homie I'll WET you!" That's threatening someone with murder, my friend. The Irish mob connection is just inferred from the video. You're probably right about that part being nothing

    • @CustmBug
      @CustmBug วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ he’s rapping about his rapping skills. .when I shoot the gift, I shoot to kill”. Shoot the gift is a reference to the gift of gab. For a rapper the gift is there ability to rap. Spitting out…lyrics. Yes’m the gift if rapping, not killing.
      Then let’s look at the more of the lyrics. I got more rhymes than the Bible’s got psalms. You think that is talking about killing too?
      I think you want it to be about Irish gangs in Boston, but that’s only in your head not in reality.

    • @jhamler1
      @jhamler1 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@CustmBug The Bible is chock full of killings, murder, and genocide. Besides, I just said it's probably NOT about being Irish and then you go ahead and mention the gift of gab. Which is a direct reference to the Blarney Stone. So is the song flavored Irish or not? Are the lyrics violently mad-dogging his nemesis or not? I mean it's no big whoop to me, either way, but... What exactly are we arguing about? Evidence or interpretation?

    • @CustmBug
      @CustmBug วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ The Bible is chock-full of killings? That’s your stance now that you conveniently left out some lyrics to try to prove your point? And I never said the song wasn’t or the band wasn’t Irish, I said it wasn’t about Irish gangs in Boston as you claimed. What the hell does Boston have to do with any of this? Can you explain that or are you just pulling more shit out of your ass?
