Boss, you MUST, and I mean, MUST, react to the live version of this song -- one of my favorite songs of all time -- in Paris in 2004! Your mind will be blown away! I mean it!
Reactor needs to work on on his diction-very hard to understand.
"Hurt people hurt people". You're so right! Taylor is a master songwriter. ❤ her. Hey, totally different genre and style but equally amazing musical skills - but have you ever listened to Tool? If not, you should check out The Pot and see what you think....
@@saracee313 I will check it out !
Yeah, but.. This song IS about murder. Irish gangs in Boston as opposed to Black gangs in Los Angeles, but still...
“I don’t get super emotional”… (two min later) “THATS GASLIGHTING!”… already sucked in two min in with the most soulful eyes 🥹hahaha so adorable and so sweet 🥰
Thank you 😎
No it’s not there biggest song they have many. They are very famous and have 4 Grammy Awards and a new member. They been singing for 10 years together and make all their instrumental sounds themselves to all their songs.
I sang this song to my mother when she was dying of cancer and sang it to her as she fell asleep. I miss my mother and father so much to this day at the age of 47 I sang the song in Danish to my mother
i love how you didn’t pause every 10 seconds like some other reactors lol!! thx for the awesome vid! 👍 ❤
Jake Gyllenhaal is an ass
this is true!!! 😂
It’s highly believed that Jake Gyllenhaal was her first adult relationship and right after he got her in bed he dumped her saying she was not old enough. she was 20 he was 27 or 28 when they started dating. At the end of the song when she say that the punch line to whole thing is she has gotten older but he still dates girls that was her ge back then. Jake is known for that.
2 singers Bob Hatfield & Bill Medley
What’s up Ireland 🥳
New sub! Gotta do more Taylor reactions please!
For real man they are secular...only some of them are Christian
I have not ever felt like that for a partner.
Me either
One of my most favorite songs and videos! It definitely hit me in all the feelz! 🥺
Your mic is in mono on the left ear, prolly want to fix that bro.
Soundtrack of my youth! So funny when a car load of us grannies hit the air drums for the iconic drum fill!
This song takes me to another level every time. Your final statements are so true - be honest with yourself and the people you’re around.
One of my fav memories was a few years ago working at a bbq joint in a small tourist town during Mountains, Music and Motorcycles event. A tall, tatted bearded biker type was in line and this songs intro was his ring tone. He didn't answer his phone but muted it and i couldn't help myself, i started busting out lyrics. 😂 we had bikers, teens and a bunch of elderly folk music types yet the whole place started jumping. (Im a 5'2, blonde southern gal, biker was tall and HUGE) And i know every word and have for 20 years. It was a good day ❤🏍 🎶
Did you notice how many long, uninterrupted takes there were? That kitchen scene, there's a loooong stretch that's a single take and most of it was improvised. These actors did such a good job.
No auto tune just his voice
There’s a reason headphones come in pairs and it isn’t so your hair can listen too!
Shhhhh 🤫
The moment you said "MotherF*^%$ Lying" I knew I found my people, subbed and looking forward to more
Thank you 🤣
This is the first video I’ve seen. But GEAUX?!?! Are you from Louisiana?!
Yes 😁
@@GeauxTracy504 Breaux Bridge, LA here!
Lmaoooo you’re a foool 🤣🤣
Do more Bee Gees, please? YOU SHOULD BE DANCING, went #1. (their brother Andy joined them on stage for this one). This song is a classic back in the day, played on black radio, in clubs everywhere, and is the song John Travolta famously danced to in the movie "Saturday Night Fever " NIGHTS ON BROADWAY ( if you do the 1975 Midnight Special version, you'll hear Barry in his natural voice -- no falsetto! Robin in his natural voice, which is higher than Barry's, and a surprise at the end with Maurice doing the falsetto! If you do the studio version, it's Barry doing the falsetto at the end. FANNY BE TENDER WITH MY LOVE (Legendary Quincy Jones said this is his favorite R&B song by anyone). One of mine too! LOVE SO RIGHT (the story takes a twist in this song and Barry pours out his emotions) really singing one of the best falsetto voices ever, to me! JIVE TALKING (was a hit on black radio stations and went #1 on the charts) NIGHT FEVER (stayed #1 for the longest song during the year it was released). LOVE YOU INSIDE OUT (was the 6th straight song by them to go to #1 on the charts).
I met a guy when I was 17, and he was 20. Total love at first sight. Worked at the record store next to my work, the photo shop. Madly in love. Spent every day for the next 2 1/2 years together, until he decided to take off and try to find his bio parents. 5 years later, we end up back together for 2 years. Then, we break up, but we're there for each other. Thought I'd marry him. Not going to lie. I found and married a great man, but that first love haunts the hell out of me.
👏 👏 👏
It made me look at Jake Gyllenhaal completely differently. It's not as bad as John Mayer, though. There are a couple songs that I love so much they get a pass, but when his name comes up on the radio I cringe. All I think of when I see his name now is "You were 33! She was 19!!!"
33 ? They’re saying he was 29 she was 20 which one is it I’m confused 😂
Jake 🤢
Like the 80's music everything was about having a good time.. Nirvana came out everything was about depression.. called the 90's music to slit your wrist too. this was a refreshing song.. JUMP AROUND
proud to be Irish
Thoughtful
I have been that in love before. When it just worked. I felt like it wasn't real. Sadly, he passed away. Life is cruel. But I have our son to always remind me. It was real.
Thank you for getting it❤️
Jake Gyllenhaal.
If you like the studio version, check out the LIVE one! It's SO much BETTER!!!! th-cam.com/video/PEWP9nbqG9Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=u8sihlj2wSekbIxJ Thanks for how you feel about older music. You're spot on! The 80's was my era for rock. Phil Collins ruled!
The song was written by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails. Johnny covered it. Trent at first didn’t like the idea of Johnny doing it but was sent the video while in the studio with Zach De La Rocha of Rage Against the Machine, they watched it together and it hit hard. He later said the song was Johnny’s now. It was partially filmed at his Museum The House of Cash which had been closed for some years before the video and partially filmed at his home. The woman on the stairs is his wife, June Carter Cash, also a singer. It was an intense love story between them. This video hits harder knowing June died three months after filming, and Johnny died seven months after. This was his last hit. On the Johnny Cash vs Elvis thing, they were both important but very different. Johnny performed world wide and is now in the Rock and Roll, Country, and Gospel Halls of fame. Elvis is all those halls of fame plus a bunch more even though he never played outside the U.S. Both had their problems with alcohol and drugs. I think Elvis’s career was bigger though not as long since he died sooner, Johnny was more of a rebel. Both did TV, Elvis did movies. I personally like Cash better probably because he’s rougher around the edges, though my parents loved his gospel album.
We can see a classic scene with this song, on the first episode of TV show "Miami Vice" (in 1984)
You’re an old soul. Wise beyond your years. Your emotional intelligence is off the charts for a 27 year old man. Loved your reaction <3
Thank You !!😊
I don't know if anyone else said this to you yet or not, but the man he killed in the song is really his own image having to hide being gay and not wanting to hurt his mother.
My favorite song of all time..the drums!!
I like your comments its very mature...new subscriber
I’m a sub this song still hits after my narcissist ex fiancée cheated and left me then cried for me but then only wanted me for a warm bed and good homemade meals I treated him like royalty it still hurts but someday I’ll get my person anyway especially this part hurt the most Time won't fly, it's like I'm paralyzed by it I'd like to be my old self again But I'm still trying to find it After plaid shirt days and nights when you made me your own Now you mail back my things and I walk home alone But you keep my old scarf from that very first week 'Cause it reminds you of innocence And it smells like me You can't get rid of it 'Cause you remember it all too well, yeah
"Funny acting ass" immediate follow.
🤣
hip hop and rap are not music my friend this is music with voice notes and instruments this is art the rap and hip hop is crap that was created to destroy mostly the black people and take their natural beauty look what you did to your body with all this tattoos that you dont need .you destroy your natural beauty
You nailed the gaslighting.
What a song this is in itself, but to add to that such a powerful video..wow. gets me every single time that song / video. Great reaction video. New to your channel, love from the uk 🇬🇧
Thoughtful reaction. You have a quiet strength about you. Not hitting on ya! I’m a grannie😂New Swiftie subscriber! You might want to react to Ready for it or I Did Something Bad from the Reputation Stadium tour live!
Thank you 😁
