I find all you videos relly helpful im a theatre student im also a writer director and tech person as well especially wben you a teen directing other kids theres barley anything i wortrle a play for my school to do we did it i was the director and wrtier , costume maker , set bulier., and tech performer , while qlso being in fhe sbow and it went do well now my school has a thetaer program! Se just did elf jr i was santa and fake santa I really cant thank you enough for your awesome tips and i cant wait to see what lies for your channel in the coming year - happy new year ❤❤❤

I love your channel! You give so many good tips and information. I am a theatre director at a public high school. I would love some tips on how to help my actors and crew grow in their theatre skills, especially for those who are wanting to go into a theatre-related career. I'd also love to see more technical theatre content, like how to do great costumes and set on a shoestring budget. ❤
Oooh, those all sound like great ideas, thankyou for sharing! My quick tip for your students wanting to enter theatre professionally (both performance and tech), have them record EVERYTHING now! If they make a costume or set design - go ahead and scan that as a pdf and keep it in a Google Drive. Have them take photos of each step of their process while constructing a prop. If they're performers have them get GOOD quality recordings of themselves performing onstage (maybe during a dress rehearsal?). I can't tell you how many of my students have gotten to the portfolio composition portion of their college applications and realize that they have very few pieces of "evidence" of their work throughout HS.

I made the Wizard of Oz light box as a side table recently (it looks amazing) and I’m either doing Legally Blonde Jr or Mean Girls Jr this summer (thise are the final two, it’s being announced Jan 3rd)!!! Do you have any tips for auditioning for gender bent roles? I’m an alto who wants to audition for some male roles and would love to see your side of it! Love ur vids!!!!
