I got one of these a while ago. It is a brilliant system for
the price and the fact you can add more sensors and they all come at different
prices depending where you shop. Some things will interfere with the range
Like walls and the one I put on a door near the LCB board for some reason.
But you can help extend that range with 433mhz signal
repeater I was able to cove my workshops. So a few of them around the house
helped with leak detectors under the water tanks in the loft and smoke alarms.
Now I would strongly advise that you get the extra key fob
auto turn on turn off for every person who you want to enter the alarmed
building. The benefits of doing so makes it worthwhile. Plus you can get them
in bulk at real good prices if you shop around. I got more than I need because there
is always one who will lose their keys. I got 8 for 29 Euro so you can get good
deals on them. You can set the alarm when you leave or just before you leave
and you can allow some time before alarm is set. But what you never want to do is
allow any entry time at all. If you set an entry time of 10 seconds well that
is 10 seconds to long a burglar is in your home. If you have to set a time set
    it to 1
Use your Remote Controller and turn alarm off before you
enter. It is one of the best features of the system. Never advertise the kind
of alarm system you have by placing stickers on your window or doors.
If you wish to have your alarm on when you are inside avoid
using motion sensors That leaves you with window and door censors and vibration
censors and If you wish beam sensors.
Window and door censors work very well and most people use
them. But they won’t trigger until a window or door is open. So your burglar
will run away but won’t take the time to close a door or window. If your burglar
should smash a window and not have to open it well nothing will set off that
alarm, so you may want to back that kind of sensor up with a vibration censors
that will stop them in their tracks before a window or door is open or smashed.
You can also set the sensitivity of the vibration censors you don’t want rain
    setting it off.
That is what is so good about this alarm system you can tailor
it to your needs. The getting notification on your phone is a plus. But let’s remember
the importance of that is less important than getting a burglar to run away.
So the Wireless Remote Controller is a must. The zero or one
second entry time for getting in is a must. The vibration censor on its own or
as a back up to the normal open activated magnet censor is a good idea. Why
allow them to open anything at all get them to run before that happens. By all means
use the app for your phone and if you have any cameras you can have a look and
use the app to reset you’re alarm.
As for the 433mhz signal repeater depending on your system and
the size of your protected aria and walls you will more than likely need one or
    two.
This alarm for its price has all the bells and whistles one
could possibly need covers everything form protecting your home, with door and window
sensors, motion detectors, carbon monoxide and Smoke alarms, water leak alarms, Gas leak
    alarms,
It can be monitored by you and send you messages to your phone
Some places will charge you a small fortune for that and
when your alarm sounds what is the first thing they do?
Well they phone you or text you.
Well now you can have your
alarm do that and you don’t have to pay a load of your hard earned cash to have
    someone else do it
    So what’s not to like

I just have 1 question: Is it possible to give people specific alarm code insread of remote? So they use a code to enter the house and not use the remote?

    • @brianofireland148
      @brianofireland148 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@cerenalgon1145 Yes you can set a delay time on the entry and have a code to key in to the unit. When you say specific code. If by that you mean each person has their own personal code. I don't think it is possible As far as I know one code does all. You will have to set an entry delay and an exit delay time on the unit . Before alarm arms when one leaves and delays alarm going off when one enters. Hope that is of some help to you

Security systems truly protect our lives. I have been using the Kangaroo system for a year now. And during this time there was an unpleasant situation - when I went to work, they tried to rob me. How good that the notification came to my phone and I immediately dialed 911. The thieves were caught, and I loved the security system even more.

I only got it yesterday, fixed the sensors to the windows and doors and set them to the display, took the bracket off the back of the display to mark the holes for drilling and the tamper alarm triggered, it also shows as tamper alarm on the display, so mine was set from the factory, i have also seen another vid saying the same, so sounds like it is not standard factory settings if yours didn't but more of a lucky dip if you get the tamper alarm pre set lol.

I just got this alarm. My issue is you can just go to the screen and shut it off without a code. If you are a burlar you can just disable it yourself no code required. I've tried all the setting and can't fix this.

Liked your video, got the alarm/love it...got wired siren but it alerts loudly when I'm just "arming" or "disarming" the system, not good.I noticed you didn't have that problem when you armed the system with the siren connected. Do you know how to stop that and just have the siren work/alarm when their is a door/window door sensor opening? Thanks...

You have to go through the instruction manual, there is lots of customisation options.

Can you disable the audible alarm but still have the remote monitoring? It sounded like when you plugged in the external speaker the onboard speaker disabled, could you confirm as then I could work around this by plugging a 3.5mm jack cord into the control panel and no speaker? Thanks!

Hi, First off, GREAT VIDEO!!!. I am also planning to buy this product, because it is very affordable. My only only concern is that everyone is complaining about the disarm button on the panel itself. Some of the people say that you can disarm the alarm on the panel without a pin and other people say that you can disarm the alarm with a pin. Will you please advise, will really appreciate. Thanks in advance
