The LSA (@111) is so tight for this size cam that the power band is from idle all the way to red line. Very coppy idle as well, if that's what you like. Paired with just a 2800 stall I lost zero bottom end. I wish it was a manual and could show how much it pulls down low
I know it's been a year but I finally got the early shifting ironed out. Turns out the 160 degree thermostat I had in there was the issue. I live on the Gulf Coast where it's hot year round and in an attempt to make it run cooler I put a cooler thermostat in it many years ago. Well the PCM always thought the engine was still trying to warm up so it was running it rich to try and help it warm up. With Injectors at 100% duty cycle already at 4800rpms, my assumption is the PCM was trying to save the engine and shifting it early at 6000rpms. Now it revs out to 6400rpms with Injectors at 90% duty cycle.

I have not, next item is larger Injectors and a re-tune. Still traps 114

Stock heads? What did it dyno?
It is Stock 241 heads, unfortunately has never been on a dyno. It has a stock fuel system on it which is limiting it right now
What RPM does yours idle at?
I think it's about 750rpms
