This is nuts! I am addicted to this channel. It's a must see every other day! My husband thinks I'm nuts because I talk about what Becky is doing on her channel, lol! Love it!
Your and my husband! Cause every day I'm like Acre Homestead this, Becky that, Acre Homestead does it this way, Becky said this is the way..... LOLOLOLOLOL
My husband heard your voice and knew I was watching your video. (He does this every time he hears your voice but it’s actually appropriate when you are having green beans for dinner) He hollers, “GREEN BEANS BECKY! Don’t forget the green beans!!” He remembers, I think it was last year when you were doing a shopping video and you said I hope I remembered everything…it was one of those lost list days at Costco. You hadn’t gotten the green beans that was on your list and I was yelling that same phrase as if you could hear me. Now he does it all the time. He is a closet foodie and loves watching your videos with me. Thank YOU for being you. We love ya!
Becky is that intelligent, no nonsense friend you wanna hang out with. I also like her obsession of having a clean kitchen. I appreciate that. Even if my house is in shambles, my kitchen is still very clean. Her teachings are coming from a scientific background. Her delivery is confident yet humble. She does her research and not jump on hypes. Love her.
Hey Becky, next time you go to the garden, can you just pan the camera around that view we can see from your kitchen window? The whole time that’s within range I can hear what you’re saying but am glued to out that window. It’s BEAUTIFUL,,, what a gorgeous view you have. Goodness if I had that, I’d hand wash all my dishes if I were you. 😄
That's so awesome. I was lucky to discover Becky at under 5000 subbies and I think she only had like 12 videos? I binged all 12 and have been hooked ever since. I'm so happy to have witnessed her success on this platform 😍 she really is a gem
The first thing I noticed about Becky , which is way different from anything I do in the kitchen, is that she has really sharp knives. Note to self, sharpening my knives.
Ah... looking at you I'm taking notes: mix veg A in a bowl with seasonings and dump on sheet pan, mix veg B in same bowl with (same!) seasonings and dump on sheet pan, mix protein C in same bowl with (same + some) seasonings and dump on sheet pan. ✅️
My prepping trick for feeding just two people - I cook big batches of rice or pasta then freeze microwavable bowls with two servings. A different day I'll chop a bunch of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and put those in microwavable bowls in the fridge. At dinner time I just rinse and nuke a veg and carb and cook a meat or meat leftover.
You should marinate the meat first while they aren’t on the skewers yet so they have the same amount of time in the sauce. Then put them on skewers before grilling.
You threw the best part of the cauli into the scraps bowl. The stem of the cauli, once the stringy bits have been removed, is divine - raw with a little salt. Crispy and delicious! Hope you don't mind but we loved it as kids and still do.
I find the same with broccoli stems and leaves too, they are great added to salads or soups etc... or cut into sticks, crumbed and deep fried, then dipped in your favourite sauce :)
Becky, I can’t say it enough, this is by far my favourite U Tube channel. Thank you again for sharing your skills and for your positive attitude and smiling face! 😊
@@julindahiggins1582, I’m a lazy cook too, I loved being able to put a meal in the oven and have time to go do something else while it cooked and I didn’t have to stand there and babysit. It was wonderful for kids games, 4-H meetings, etc and we came home to a good meal ready to eat.
Hey sweet friend, they all looked delicious! I want to make the white chicken chili. I was diagnosed with metastatic cancer and watching your vlogs fills my heart with happiness and joy. Sending blessings to you and your beautiful family.

Thank you so much for all your hard work with creating content. You give me so many good ideas and inspired me to expand what I grow. I now have the confidence to grow my own flowers and are growing 100% from seed for all my garden goodies. I know it’s not easy dealing with the negativity and stress of constantly creating new content, but I appreciate it. Keep up the amazing work!
When my husband hears your voice coming from my computer, he inevitably asks "ok, what's for dinner this week?" He knows i can't wait to make all of your delicious recipes! Thank you for your inspiration❤❤❤
if you are putting cold or frozen food in the instant pot you do not need to increase the time. When foods are cold or frozen it takes longer time for them to come up to pressure. By the time up to pressure they are warmed and not frozen. Great job on the meals !!!
Made your Artisan bread today. I did everything wrong in this recipe, had a thick, dry skin form on top of loaf from sitting for so many hours with just a thin dishcloth over it, added a bunch of extra flour because I had to knead it then to try and recover the texture and mix in all the dry lumps, missed the parchment paper step and it stuck to the rising bowl, so I let it rise again. It still turned out fabulous! How is that even possible?!!
Hi Becky, as always, I’m ready for another video. I’m proud you can post every other day, because you are my favorite homesteader. You always have such interesting videos. Until next time………….
I'm watching this whilst on my honeymoon in Thailand. I had a Thai cooking class. The food I made was delicious! Cannot quite believe I made it. Highly recommend if anyone is traveling this way. Cannot wait to try at home.
Becky, I have to say thank you! Your channel has really reignited my joy of cooking and gardening. I just love seeing what you will make or plant next! Hope you are having a great week!

Those dinners look fantastic! I really want to try that yogurt sauce too. Don't limit your meal prep dinners to just 1 crockpot and 1 Instapot and 1 sheet pan, either... you can prep and ziplock 4 or 5 sheet pan dinners, and just get out the pan (or crock or Instapot) that night you cook. And, of course, freeze the (freezer)ziplock, and pull out that meal the night before (or morning of), for longer-term storage.
I love this so much! I'm watching you make dinners I have made for year's while cutting up and cooking chicken we bought on a deal and putting them in seal a meal pouches for the next month. Thanks for the inspiration 💐 ~Rhonda 🌷🌷🌷

I wouldn't be able to afford to meal prep here in the UK , the amount of fresh meats , veggies etc Becky uses would cost an absolute fortune here in the UK , also I do not have the equipment or the space either 😢
Frugal tip for you…. instead of buying individual servings of yogurt like Becky used in this video, make your own yogurt. Homemade yogurt freezes beautifully both plain and seasoned with compote! Step it up just a notch by freezing in individual serving size to eat or use in recipes. No cute individual sized containers? Measure it into cheap sandwich bags and put several bags inside a nice freezer bag. Future starters can be frozen in snack sized baggies too. LOVE YOUR CHANNEL BECKY!

If you carve around the stem of a bell pepper ( like making the lid on a Halloween pumpkin) you can pull the top off and it pulls the whole center and all the seeds out together in one piece.
I love making Chicken Satay in the crockpot. I always keep some mixed up in the freezer for an easy dinner when I'm not feeling well. I like to top mine with chopped pan roasted peanuts and cilantro and serve it over jasmine rice. Yum

You should think about getting yourself a marinating container from Tupperware. You put your marinade in like you did and snap on the other side, and while things are soaking every once in a while you simply turn it over. And put it back in the fridge.❤

We use the stems of the cilantro in all our blended marinades and sauces. The flavor is outstanding.
You should think about getting yourself a marinating container from Tupperware. You put your marinade in like you did and snap on the other side, and while things are soaking every once in a while you simply turn it over. And put it back in the fridge.❤
