    Unbelievable amount of detail. It's a 40min clip but you must be spent days and weeks getting this analysed. Amazing job Dan.

    I really like how you structured this - you broke down the moves in discrete blocks and then stepped back and noted how they all inter-relate and link to the wider system that he is using against his opponents. Very much appreciated.

    Thank you doing this, it takes a lot of time to do. I recently have become interested in spider guard and watching Keenan use his seemed like a good way to learn it more quickly/properly. (I dont know Keenan, never met him, He seems very likeable and his close relationship with his dad/ family tells me he is quality person, thats great, bjj for me is as much about relationships as it is learning/ fighting).... Lucky for me YOU made this video, the details are so nice,,,, Merry Christmas!

    @Brea Jiu-Jitsu Is Spider Guard effective for shorter people also?

    • @crlovitt29
      @crlovitt29 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know you didn't ask me, but - the short answer is yes. The problem is that your question is underdeveloped. All guards are tools to be used for specific purposes - or specific situations, with specific goals and objectives for different body types. It's like asking if a hammer is a good tool (of course it is)... The problem is that when you only have a hammer, all of your problems start looking like nails. There are better ways to drill a hole, or screw a bolt, or tighten a nut. Namaste.

    This is far more aggresive game than his lapel game. I think, if he had stayed with this game( spider open guard type) he would have had at least one world championship. This is only my thoughts but with great spider you can win everything ( Romulo, Langhi)

      yeah he sold out, he made tons of money of lapel guard tho. But lapel guard is kinda iffy.
