    Hello! I am wondering how did you take a picture of the Azimuth degrees and elevation degrees of your radio?
    How did you take a picture if its already up their on the pole and how did you register the Radio? Did you register without the
    Pictures?
    Thanks.

    Can you tell us about the CPI approval process?

    • @thegristleking
      @thegristleking  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you mean getting a CPI, or having a CPI sign off on your installation? The latter is handled through Pollen as needed.

    • @rafaroox6727
      @rafaroox6727 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thegristleking From what I understand, after installation we need to get CPI approval so we need to share installation parameters (address, height, azimuth agnle, elevation with photographic evidence) with FreedomFi, and they will get us CPI approval, which apparently takes 3-5 days, before we are able to actually turn on the 5G radio/antenna earn MOBILE. Is this not correct?

    Why did you take the Nebra off the pole? Seems like you could have kept it there (and I am assuming the distance back to the FF gateway was too long for an antenna cable to pole).

    • @thegristleking
      @thegristleking  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That was just a Nebra case; I'd used this for a DIY miner I built back when that program was open. Once San Diego got overcrowded, I moved that miner to a less crowded place.

  • @brianwester5385
    @brianwester5385 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Any thoughts on using the Poe++ injector to power the HotSpot & the 5G antenna? Trying to think of an easier way to get hotspot near the cell antenna without running 120v up to the roof.

    • @thegristleking
      @thegristleking  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm, not sure if you can split off a splitter, but that would be cool. Or just run antenna cable to get the LoRa antenna on the roof. LoRa rewards are so low that I figured leaving the LoRa side indoors was fine. Plus, any location that's a good 5G location is probably a bad LoRa location (because it'll be in a busy place and probably already overcrowded with LoRa miners.)

      @@thegristleking I’m in a pretty solid area for both still, Augusta, Ga metro area. Not a ton of hotspots in the suburbs but a lot of underserved cell areas. This location still makes about 6 HNT a month off Lora, but probably wind up doing the same as you and setting up cell as priority now. Need to figure out how to do the 5G mapping to keep rewards high early.

    Yo Nick, speaking for myself... None of this information or any of your prior documentation is far from boring... I haven't yet joined the Gristle Crew as of yet. And I understand if you don't answer this question. I know you're busy with your own businesses, but here it is my situation.... the miner would have to be put outside up on a 14m Pole along with the small
    cell. Given I supply the injector with the proper wattage to supply both the miner and the small cell splitting the power in the weatherproof miner case supplying both power and data to the miner and then back out of the miner supplying power but now the data from the miner to the small cell with the use of extra connector /accessories/adapters.. etc. Just your thoughts as if it will work... Yes? or No?.
