This is an awesome video, no background music, no long intros, just straight to the point step by step recipe on how to cook creamy garlic mushroom sauce. For someone who doesn’t cook, I will cook this for my friends when they visit me after this lockdown. I wrote down the recipe and saved the video. Thank you
I love this because you have a nice voice, no annoying music, you tell us everything we need to know. I loved how you reminded us that if you use cold chicken it will take longer to cook.
I cook quite a bit and while I don't consider myself a chef, I am pretty good at picking out improvements I can make to recipes I've learned. I made this one tonight for the first time (after two attempts to create the kind of mushroom garlic chicken I had in mind) and had nothing I would change. Of all the meals I've cooked over my 50+ years, this rates as the best. No joke - THE best. The combination of the lemon on the fresh salad with the earthiness from the rosemary/thyme and the richness of the heavy cream coupled with the butter, onions and mushrooms was so well balanced that I left an empty plate wishing I could turn back time and eat it all over again. Great recipe - thanks to you for one time in my life I feel like I made a meal worthy of a chef.
I got a package of chicken breasts out of the freezer to make this. When they were thawed & ready to cook I found that they were actually boneless pork chops so I made it anyway. The recipe was great with pork chops, too!
Lol did this today. Luckily I noticed when I was checking on how many lbs I had in my package that it was bone in pork chops lol. Placed them back in freezer and going to grocery store now for boneless chicken breast. Thanks for the heads up. Have a great day ❤️
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched this video. Tonight I finally had the courage to make it and my hubby is one happy man! I added a teaspoon and a half of chili garlic paste as the sauce reduced. After grilling the chicken and letting it rest, I sliced it right before adding it back into the sauce. I served in a bowl with warm tortillas. My hubby says this is officially in the dinner rotation. Thanks for the recipe!

Omg! Chili garlic paste probably added great flavor. Thank you for trying the recipe and adding your own spin to it. Love the feedback. Thank you! 😊
In the video I see chicken skinless boneless thighs .Why do I hear breasts ?Love everything about this recipe .I love half and half or 18 per cent cream.
I like roasted jalapenos with mine on the side - did the chili sauce turn it red - or what ? -- and i like too many onions & mushrooms in it also - ahahahaha - and too many is barely enough onions -- hehehehe
I made this the other day. I didn't have chicken breast so I used boneless, skinless chicken thighs. I didn't use thyme, rosemary....the only herb I had was parsley. But everything was the same. And it was FREAKIN DELICIOUS😋😋😋. Thanks for the video.
There could never be enough "one pan recipes". The ease of cooking, the flavors incorporate so well and the cleanup is a breeze. Thanks for sharing this one :)

Yes! I validate this. I like to clean as I cook and it definitely helps out only using one pan. 😁👍
I made this today. I was missing two things so I substituted them. But let me tell you, it came out amazing!!! So delicious!! I made mine with mashed potatoes & steamed broccoli. 10 out of 10 recommend 😋😋
I just wrote “Mushroom sauce for Chicken” and your recipe was the first one to come on top, I clicked on it and wow!!! I normally don’t look at recipes longer than 5 min but I’m so glad I did! Making it right now. The only dry ingredient Im using is thyme, I have everything else fresh. I will use it over 3 cheese Tortellini tonight for dinner! I’m pretty sure it will taste delicious! Thank you 😊
Crystal clear indeed. I'm impressed that she is so expert and experienced as to know you shouldn't salt the mushrooms before they brown. And she explained exactly WHY which sounds scientifically valid. Plus her recipes are delicious. She is a chef you can trust.
My chef friend told me always get the protein to room temperature prior to cooking ^^ When I learn a new recipe I cook the same thing everyday until I feel proficient at it (meaning I can eyeball the ingredients)...Keep up the great work!!!
I just made this recipe tonight for me, myself and I. It was so good, amazing recipe! I served the chicken on a bed of basmati rice with green beans on the side. Thank you so much!
@Richard Viau. Actually there's an even better recipe at Pressure luck cooking channel on TH-cam called champagne chicken. Out of this world fabulous 😊
@. Maybe with salad on the side. :-)That's what I am thinking of doing. Too much wonderful sauce to let it go to waste and rice would be perfect for it. Put some salad on the side and still get some of that tasty looking vinaigrette.
Agreed, I wondered what was going on at the end with the salad! It couldn’t be a diet thing otherwise why all the cream and Parmesan (& all that butter lol) . I guess some might even enjoy it with a good pasta & truffle oil if it’s for an evening main dish...either way it really looks scrummy and I can’t wait to try it.
I'm a big fan of onions in all my foods !!! I love purple onions in a good salad and burger Mmmm 😃!!

I do too! My Aunt tried my way of making this and was not a fan of the onions, which is why I mentioned that they were optional. She makes hers with out the fresh herbs, onions and garlic. It's still good, but I love onions...lol!
I totally agree!! Every time my husband goes to the grocery store he’s learned to buy onions. It’s the one thing that I don’t have to remember put on the list!! lol
Absolutely delicious recipe! Pretty easy to make too. We skipped the arugula, served the chicken over jasmine rice with vegetables on the side. The chicken was tender and Tasty! Definitely adding this to the rotation!
Evaporated milk!!! I tried it with evaporated milk and it came out delicious! Thanks for the tip. In my house, we tend to always have evaporated milk so this tip is perfect for my family. Thank you!
I'm going to try this. Probably over pasta, but I can see how perfect it is over fresh greens. We're in quarantine now but I've got most ingredients in the pantry. So glad I found you!
I made this(made minor changes)...with sides of Asparagus, Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. This recipe is legit. My husband said it tastes like restaurant food. Thank you for making this video. New subscriber 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
How can anyone not like onion. Smell good while cooking and add a lot of flavor to the food. This look really good, I have to try to make it. So it works with 1/2 and 1/2, don't have to use heavy cream. Great
I just made this the other day with protein pasta and a little herbed butter. OMG!!! It tastes better the next day and the day after. I will attempt to recreate with almond milk and recreate again entirely dairy free to see how it turns out. This recipe is the real deal-thanks do much for sharing:)!
My family loved this recipe! I did no measuring, just tried to see what looked closest to your measurements and it was still fantastic!!! I am definitely definitely making this again because I know my family will be asking for more!
I made this tonight and had to come back to say thank you! The cream sauce was so delicious. I added adobo to my chicken along with all your seasoning and I’m keeping this recipe in my stash 😏😏😏
