My uncle lived in the building with him he said the smell was horrific and he always thought it was like dead rats or something in the building so they constantly complained to the manager and the manager did nothing until he started to receive multiple complaints they laid down traps and everything but it was in his floor where neighbors complained the most he told them his fridge went out and food had gone bad sort of thing I was glad my uncle wasn’t one of the victims but I am deeply sorry to the families of those who were😢
I wondered this too for people other residents had to have smelled something horribly bad!!!! And someone had to notice he brought young men home with him never to see them leave.
Yes death has a very distinctive smell really awful and sticks to all items clothing sheets everything my brother was found decomposed in his apartment and you could smell it outside and all items in the house smelt the smell of multiple bodies would be even worse it's a smell u never ever forget
Second video I have watched of yours. I have to say your empathy for the victims and their family’s is palpable. Respectful job. Thanks for taking us with you.
I'm so glad you visited the victims. And it's nice to hear that the people working at the cemetery were so nice and helpful. Very rare, here in California. I know I say it a lot, but this is one of your best, Scott!
Thank you. Very respectful and thoughtful. I was in university at the time. It is still interesting to see the buildings and neighbourhoods, to have a sense of the area where these things happened. You were right to visit victims' graves - it's so easy to sensationalize murderers and their victims are forgotten.
I can tell how these heavy subjects take a little piece of you each time. Thank you for how well you tell their stories and the quality of your content. It's definitely appreciated and enjoyed.
The thing with other serial killer's is that they seem less attached to their victim's, like they were watching someone else do the horrible things to them. But with Dahmers he was very attached to the victims and very much part of the horrible things he did to them, he didn't distance himself from it he wanted part of them. That is what gives his crimes a deeper feeling I feel, it's hard to explain.
That’s also the part of the crimes that makes me feel some bit of empathy for Dahmer. He killed them because he didn’t want them to leave him. A VERY wrong interpretation of a long term relationship.
This story was so depraved and heart wrenching it didn't even seem real. I think everyone was so glad to hear that Dalmer was killed in prison. Thank you for your compassion filming this.

@@thewizboy that bothered me the most as well!! To know that police department didn't intervene & allowed the 14 year old to go back to a serial killer's care to his demise was unspeakable and heartbreaking. It was so tragic because he had made it out of the home naked badly beaten with a drill in his head to ask for help to neighbors but the police believed it was a lovers spat and allowed dahmer to take him back into his apartment 😭😡
How thoughtful of you to share the resting places of some Dahmer's victims. Most people tend to focus on the Perpetrator and leave out the stories of the peoples' lives that were affected. TY. Until this day, I cannot believe how quick the Milwaukee police dismissed Konerak when they suspected that Konerak might have been gay even though he was nude and bleeding all over! There's a recording floating on the internet where we can clearly hear a concerned neighbor questioning the decision of the Officers to send Konerak back upstairs to Dahmer's apartment. 🤯 It's a huge understatement to say that this was an oversight by Milwaukee Police. 💔 for Konerak, his family, other victims, and all of the other victims' family.
Hey Scott I admire how you took the time to visit the young 14 year old and 17 year old victims graves of Jeffrey Dahmer. It was a horrific gruesome murders of all the 17 victims and to know that the neighbour Glenda Cleveland called the Police numerous times on her neighbour regarding the smell and they did nothing about it. And these two Police Officers who didn't check the 14 year old boy and allowed Jeffrey to take him back up to his room is just as much to blame for his death as Jeffrey. I appreciate this heartfelt video and may the victims. #RIP 🙏🏽
Glad you found that last grave you were looking for and having such a hard time finding and that you didn't just give up. I'm glad you honored the victims here and didn't just focus on Dahmer. I'm sad that it's usually the serial murder that is remembered and not the victims unless they are the last one or the one that got away and managed to help bring the murderer to justice. I wish that the victims were as well known as those that killed them. Thanks once again for memorializing these two young teenaged boys whose lives were taken too soon.
The police really dropped the ball on this one!! The two women that called the police went and forth with police that he looked like a minor and was under some influence. The police threatened to arrest the two women because they kept saying something wasn't right. The boy's family sued the Milwaukee police department.
Interesting video. It's tragic that a drugged 14yr old running naked from a 30some yr old man was summed up as a lover's quarrel. The police let Konerak down when he needed them. I recall feeling jubilant when he was murdered in jail then feeling bad for being jubilant over someone's death. I've seen the apartment building and his childhood house in Akron, OH. It's a mid-century modern style and needless to say, was a hard sell. Last I heard, the guy who formed Waitresses bought it. They sang "I know what boys like". Do what feels right to you, Scott.
Hi Scott, you n your viewers may find this interesting, but I am a 54 year old gay Chicago man. I was young n wild when the Dahmer thing was going on n went to Milwaukee to stay with a guy I knew from a bar. This was while Dahmer was visiting the Gay bars down town that I was hanging out at drunk out of my mind. I met my partner at a Dahmer hangout n we just celebrated 28 years together. Right after Dahmer was locked up I got a job doing temp labor n was sent to a nice factory n was so happy with the job till I saw 2 Mexican workers giggling at me. I asked them what was so funny? They told me I had Dahmers job! I said no way n asked the supervisor at lunchtime n he said well yes it's true. He showed me a table Jeff used to sit at to eat his lunch there. He said Jeff always sat alone n faced the wall to avoid eye contact. It turned out that was the Ambrosia chocolate factory. Sorry to rattle on n I hate mentioning the monsters name but in order to describe the story I had to mention it.
@@SUREETBHATTACHARYA thank God I never met him,I'd possibly be dead although I'm white n he most of his victims were black. The closest to seeing him was I went to a bar n sat on a stool in the corner n a bartender said don't sit there darlen, that's the stool Jeff used to sit on. I didn't know what he meant but not long after that was when Jeff got caught n locked up .I am not bragging in any way about taking his job or hanging out in his old hang out,I talk about it cause it's just so strange.
I met Jeffrey Dahmer's brother's mother in law about 3 or 4 years ago. She told me that she was soooo glad that she never got a chance to meet her son in law's brother. And she told me that Jeffrey's brother had to change his name because he could not get a job. I think she told me her son in law had to get away from his brother Jeffrey Dahmer very early in life because he kept killing animals or something. And that's all I remember. I just pray that woman's grand kids don't carry none of their Uncle Jeffrey's crazy jeans.

I can somehow picture all of the victim's hands clinching the very pipe used by "Christopher Scarver" as he, as they all, repeatedly swung and smashed the face, head, and soul of "Jeffrey Dahmer" straight into the deepest pits of hell. I for one thank him for dealing the appropriate justice deserved and for saving taxpayer's millions potentially wasted in room, board, and medical care on this monster. And I thank you for this very fine piece of work, Scott, it was tastefully done.
I feel so terrible for all the victims and their families but I can’t imagine how Koneraks family felt when they found out The man who assaulted one of their sons murdered their other son
I still find it hard to believe that he was found sane, even back then. His acts are unimaginable to his victims. What sort of mind comes up with some of the things he did? I know he struggled to accept his sexuality, being gay was not as accepted back then as it is today, plus his obvious underlying mental health problems. Thanks for this video, very respectful as always.
Of course he was not normal, but he wasn’t insane to a point that he wouldn’t be considered responsible for his actions. When they rule that people are sane enough to know what they were doing they can prosecute them unlike if they find them to be completely insane. If they said he was that insane then he would still be alive today at a mental hospital deciding what flavor pudding he wanted for lunch.
Dahmer was way too methodical in my opinion to be insane. Now Ed Gein, he was Insane. Just the conditions of his house reflected the state of his mind.
He was a very clear case of MK ultra and all his killing were satanic rituals but that's all been whitewashed by the media now if you really look into the case it's pretty obvious and if you think what I'm saying is crazy and don't believe just go watch one of the Programmed To Kill serous about Dahmer it breaks it all down
The Dahmer show on Netflix is so good. Evan Peters delivered a fantastic performance.
That’s Deep
Do you know of the apts. Are still vacant or were they condemned??
@@AngelLopez-zo2vd they were called the Oxford apts I believe. The whole building was torn down tho
Great work on your channel. You choose very interesting locations. Appreciate your hard work.
Second video I have watched of yours.
I have to say your empathy for the victims and their family’s is palpable.
Respectful job. Thanks for taking us with you.
I live in Milwaukee and every time I go pass where Jeffrey used to stay it gives me the creeps but r.I.p to them victims so sad
I'm so glad you visited the victims. And it's nice to hear that the people working at the cemetery were so nice and helpful. Very rare, here in California. I know I say it a lot, but this is one of your best, Scott!
the cameraworks are amazing, keep up the good work!
Great job Scott, done with dignity and class. Thanks for taking us along! This was truly a horrible event that shocked the world.
Konerak would have turned 45 years old this year. Hard to imagine the loss. RIP Konerak and all the victims.
Just so sad and awful, thank you for such a respectful video about such a sensitive subject x
Very good observation.
He didn’t want to be alone. That is why he tried to keep his victims by turning them into sex slave zombies.
Nobody should be glad that someone was murdered in prison !!!
@@ultramag0343 Tell that to victim families everywhere.
@@janadeubner9883 Regardless ! Being glad someone was murdered says a lot about you and people who think like you !
@@ultramag0343 A me dispiace che sia stato ucciso in prigione perché ha scontato troppo poco la sua pena... doveva rimanere paralizzato e soffrire per tutto il male che ha fatto! Dahmer merita soltanto disprezzo!
Of course not everyone was happy with it. His dead was a set up, that’s just sad en cowardly!!
This was very respectfully done, respect to you sir!
I was a kid when this all happened, but I'm so glad he got what he deserved in prison. And the people and the cemetary were right dahmer wasn't Milwaukee. I'm so glad you payed respects to the victims and left dahmer behind, beautifully done scott on something that was hard to do💜
Since the series I see some of these older videos are getting views, always enjoy watching your content
I found it odd that nobody in his apartment really bothered to actually question the foul smells around them. You never have to have smelled death before to instantaneously know what it does smell like. He kept playing it down as food gone bad. Gimme a break!
They all did my uncle was one of them the manager did nothing at all
@@rder3855 that’s precisely when I would’ve called the cops.
@@TasteTestTitan I agree!! I thought this too where it would've had to smell awful and there were too many young men seen coming home with him never to have seen leave. Evidently in interviews other residents said the police were racist and homophobic hence why they did nothing to help that 14 yr old victim.
@@anitaknight3915 I really think that if it were me I could smell the difference between rotting meat or garbage and a dead body. What’s even more sickening is he’d sleep with the dead body next to him! How could he even be in the same room for day’s or week’s with that smell or a rotting corpse?
@@TasteTestTitan I agree!! There's a lot of stupidity and lack of accountability going on ignoring all these red flags!!! The police were a disgrace too. There had to be such foul strong odors and all these teens going missing after being seen with Dahmer and Gacy!!!! The stupidity of allowing both of them to keep killing that long when there were many red flags was beyond my comprehension too.
This is so heart breaking. Thank you for sharing, I know this must have been so difficult for you. Cathy
Out of all of his victims its the 14 yo victim that has always made my heart hurt the deepest. His brother was almost a victim years b4, so sad 😢
His brother was actually molested by dahmer.
@@aleesharenea8565 I know. And they let him out b4 telling the family that he was back on the streets. What a sad sad thing. Out of all the victims this is the one who bothered me the most, poor kid 😢
He drilled inside his head while awake how sick
Whoever now lives in his grandmother's house is brave knowing what went on in there.
You are such a sweet and kind person l can see how much this touch you I always watch your videos because you are so careing
Thank you so much Sandra
Scott you did a beautiful job telling the stories of these young men who endured so much. It's 💔
#RIP 🙏🏽
wow 17 victims! that's earth moving! great video Scott your videos just keep getting better and better!
Thank you so much Randy !
Light compared to John Wayne Gary’s 33.

Nice way to remember the victims! Well done! Not an easy video to do.
Thank you Allan ✌🏽✌🏿

Curtis was my age. We were born the same year. So sad. Thank you for sharing this and for remembering the victims. 💔😢
I love how you do these videos so respectfully, great work
thanks for the content scott. great as always.
Thank you so much
Glad you found that last grave you were looking for and having such a hard time finding and that you didn't just give up.
Once again well done ... you have such class and integrity .... IM proud you call you my friend... !!!!
Another rocking video bro!!! keep it going and thanks again for taking us with you. Rest in peace to the victims.
Thanks so much joe!
Thanks for the respectful and emotional tour. I’m interested in learning more about this horrific case.

Increíble tu historia
Did you see Jeff in reality?
@@SUREETBHATTACHARYA thank God I never met him,I'd possibly be dead although I'm white n he most of his victims were black. The closest to seeing him was I went to a bar n sat on a stool in the corner n a bartender said don't sit there darlen, that's the stool Jeff used to sit on. I didn't know what he meant but not long after that was when Jeff got caught n locked up .I am not bragging in any way about taking his job or hanging out in his old hang out,I talk about it cause it's just so strange.
I wish to thank you for the direction you went with this video. Very respectful to the forgotten victims.
thanks for giving a quick glance at the dahmer locations...and thanks for paying the tributes to the victims..RIP to their souls
Thank you for watching Debansh
Had to come watch this after this new Netflix docuseries, great tour you did.

Glad u did this. It was nice to see Milwaukee again. I filmed up there, too. I think the only good thing was that he owned up to what he did and didn’t blame his parents, family, society. Then he said he got Saved and that’s a miracle. Talk about a testimony.....
Ya he didn’t blame his parents that’s definitely a first

That young man escaped only to be handed back to his killer. How horrific! Glad they got him in prison.
A really nicely done video. 💖
Thank you for remembering the lost, the victims when most folks just focas on the murders and the
killer (s).

Wow, Intense video dude. Great job.
Clara Jeff got wat he deserved
Of course he was not normal, but he wasn’t insane to a point that he wouldn’t be considered responsible for his actions. When they rule that people are sane enough to know what they were doing they can prosecute them unlike if they find them to be completely insane. If they said he was that insane then he would still be alive today at a mental hospital deciding what flavor pudding he wanted for lunch.
Dahmer was way too methodical in my opinion to be insane. Now Ed Gein, he was Insane. Just the conditions of his house reflected the state of his mind.
He knew his acts were wrong and showed so by trying to hide the victims. That is a sane person in the eyes of the law.
