- Here’s my seventh offering “ Ganaraj Rangi Nachto”, originally sung by the great Lata ji, written by Shantabai Shelke and composed by Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar. I am so glad to have Aarya Ambekar and Anay Gadgil with me for this. A happy ganeshotsav to all of you. I will try and post one song everyday till Anant chaturdashi. Ganapati Bappa Moraya !

If you don’t get it reply I’ll give you a better example.
And never ever say you don’t understand language but you still listen to the songs or watch movies, you are not doing any favors to The language, if I don’t understand any language,I don’t listen to or watch, talk until I Atleast have a jist of the language.
I listen to very few English numbers which I understand till date.

अतिशय सुरेल सादरीकरण . जवळ जवळ ४० वर्षांपूर्वी पं. हृदयनाथ मंगेशकरांनी या गाण्याची मूळ बंदिश मुंबई दूरदर्शनच्या कार्यक्रमात सादर केली होती. बंदिशीचे शब्द होते : सावनकी रुत घोर . ती बंदिश माझ्या आठवणी प्रमाणे गौड मल्हार रागात होती. या कार्यक्रमाचे रेकॉर्डिंग खूप शोधूनही सापडले नाही. राहूलजी , तुमच्या आवाजात ती बंदिश ऐकायला मिळाल्यास बहार होईल !

Secondly whatever indian language, when spoken with proper pronunciation, is understood by all. A non marathi like me love to hear marathi spoken by a person like Rahul, and can learn in no time. तुमचं गाणं ऐकले की मनाच्या खोलवर अगदी गाभाऱ्यात कुठेतरी अमाप शांतता, समाधान मिळते. मला शास्त्रीय संगीत रागदारी इत्यादी मधलं काहीच कळत नाही, त्यामुळे तुमचं गाणं किती छान होते हे तुम्हालाच सांगण्याची माझी अजिबात पात्रता नाही याची मला जाणीव आहे . म्हणून मला अनुभव काय आला हे सांगण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. काही ठराविक जागा किव्वा सूर टचकन डोळ्यात पाणी आणतात तुम्हाला ऐकताना. कदाचित मला शब्दात सांगता येत नाही आहे. पण खूप सुखद अनुभव येतो. मनापासून धन्यवाद त्यासाठी.
Unfortunately I don't know Marathi otherwise I could have enjoyed it more fully. However, thanks for the English language later so that I could understand something. Arya is very beautiful; equally beautiful is her melodious voice in perfect 'sur' and excellent skills; but most enchanting is her attitude and trueness to the real music. I usually don't like the classical or semi classical performances of new generation and am a great fan of Lata Mangeshkar, and old Ustads. But first time I listened to Arya's “ Sahela re" following a few more videos including this and surprised that in spite of her extraordinary capabilities, there is no show off rather she is restrained and dedicated to reveal the unique spirit of every song like some old Ustads. I have heard Lataji's 'Ganaraj rangi nachato ' many a times and didn't expect that I could ever like this song by anybody else as there would obviously be a comparison but the true attitude love of music and gifted voices and talents of these two singers made almost equally enjoying the song ....that too without any background music except a keyboard! Also the male voice that I listened for the first time is overwhelmingly good....and how perfectionist he is! Hats off to you.

आर्या हे गाणं सोलो सुद्धा ऐकायला खूप आवडेल, अतिशय मधुर आवाज, थँक्स, आणि राहुल सर, तुमचा आवाजात गाणं ऐकायला मिळालं की ते संपूच नये असं वाटतं, अतिशय अप्रतिम, आणि clasical ऐकायला मिळणं म्हणजे पर्वणीच, जास्तीत जास्त गाणी ऐकायला आवडतील, दोघांची, खूप धन्यवाद या गाण्यात मन मंत्रमुग्ध होतं.

I remember you in an interview to mr. wagle talking about this.... Getting mahesh kale involved, getting mr anand bhate together is what shows your confidence in yourself.Inviting your contemporary, junior singers to work with you, is really creditable.
