I recognized that round barn the moment I saw it. It always caught my eye as we passed it since the first time I saw it in the 1950s. I'm glad someone put some loving care into it and restored it, it was starting to look pretty shabby that last time I saw it in the mid '80s.
They are driving 2 miles away from my house...... they are driving Old redwood highway in Windsor CA most of the time 😁 guy fiery started Johnny Garlics here and I've seen him driving this camaro through town 😁
Guy can't "quietly" slip through traffic. I met him in Santa Rosa a while back, across an intersection in his yellow Chevelle. That thing can't sneak up on anyone. If the bright yellow doesn't grab you by the eyes, you can hear the exhaust for two blocks in any direction! ;^)
I still can’t believe that my dad returned a ‘68 Camero SS 396 (Blue convertible with white top and interior for a Red 327 Rally Sport with an black vinyl top (because my mom couldn’t push the 4-speed clutch)!!
Love that barn and Guy Fieri because he has withstood everything the hipster foodie assh*l4s have thrown at him. Triple D changed so many lives as local restaurants were highlighted.
We had a local bbq joint on his show, to the day we left Texas it didn't change my love for that place or the style of their food. They still kept serving your 2 meat and all you wanted sides for $12.99 as you expected before he popped on in for a little grub. Will say that place before and after is still got the BEST brisket I've ever had.
I'm from the '70s, my teen years, and this guy has ALL my favorite cars and favorite foods! But I'm on a diet, from cars and greasy, delicious foods. lol
I ADORE Guy & he was at a restaurant in Kansas City, where my daughter went to college & she called me, "Guy Fieri was here but I didn't get a picture, I was eating." "Um ok Babe. You're welcome for me teaching you how to walk, talk, use a spoon, use the potty & sending you to college but you couldn't take a PICTURE for me??" LOL
My first car was a hand-me-down 1968 Camaro SS. For CNBC fans, I bought it from the dealership owned by Marcus Lemonis' relatives, who lived down the street from us. That 1968 Camaro was never surpassed in looks, the 1969 muscle-car model turning a pretty car into a serious street machine. What those cars needed most were good tires; we got Goodyear giant doughnuts on it from GM, preventing us from turning the wheel. With Michelin radials, it became a serious road car in and of itself...
First saw Tripple-D way back in the day and thought. "Hah yeah like this guy is really a car guy! What marketing guy thought this up?" Then I heard him shift the manual and all doubt was erased. Still think i'd rather hang out with Leno but man you'd probably have a more ridiculous and fun time with Guy.
Had no idea that was guys 68 Camero on triple d. For a car collection for a celebrity like this I was honestly expecting more. Nothing real exotic or supper over the top (except the hopped up grocery getter). Lots of good old classic American muscle 😀
Let me start, LOFNL, I have been watching both of you for year's, Jay love the restoration updates, Guy, I will say I saw you in A (67) in At least 3 Episodes of DDD, Where's that one. LOL
Might jusy have been a borrowed car because they wanted/needed to start production before he got done having this car built. I don't know just a thought.
@Squirmin Herman the one eyed German Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded. Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave. A social scientist who understands human nature will not dismiss the vital roles of free choice, voluntary cooperation and moral integrity as liberals do. A political leader who understands human nature will not ignore individual differences in talent, drive, personal appeal and work ethic, and then try to impose economic and social equality on the population as liberals do. And a legislator who understands human nature will not create an environment of rules which over-regulates and over-taxes the nation's citizens, corrupts their character and reduces them to wards of the state as liberals do. The roots of liberalism and its associated madness can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind. When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious. Basically liberalism is a willful failure to mature beyond adolescence that can have catastrophic consequences for society. With luck, the official diagnosis of this disease by mental health professionals will facilitate the search for a cure.
He has used several red Camaros. I know he had a 67 for several shows. I had one back then, a 67 SS350 convert. Had to sell it when I got married, worst decision I ever made.
If your betting big who would be in winners circle after drag race between TimAllens COPO 427 and Guys 502 ragtop , the duel TV celebrity 68's ( I like Tim's better for reasons that's over your head literally) comb through that ----- hey Jay
@@celestialscripture they should be inspired to do anything else. Not just open a restaurant. Sell real estate. Junior college, a trade. Plumber, electrician etc. They all pay waaaay more!😀
mr zed me too. Made $5.50 an hour and college cost $3k a year. You could get a decent used car for $1500. 1 bedroom apartment was $150 a month. Health care was affordable. Now they make $7.50 an hour but everything is 4-5x more expensive. Business also thrived w top tax rates at twice what they are now. Everyone got a raise except the people who can least afford to not get one.
I wonder how many miles are on that camaro? I mean they probably transport the car on a truck between filming locations but imagine if they didn't and Guy just road tripped between all the restaurants.
I liked the cars, but loved the barn.
Right now I’m adjusting my valves while watching these two blokes - the world is beautiful today.

Funny how Jay was impressed by guys garage, having his ow personal warehouse of cars.
manner....
The building is definitely impressive.
That’s what makes him cool, all that fame, money and possessions, yet he’s still down to earth.
That's just it "the Garage" Jay's impressed by the building.
Guy's garage isn't the largest & most ostentatious. It's actually perfect for his folksy image. Unique & classy.

I used to sell beer to Tex Wasabi in Santa Rosa
Right on

Two of my favorite cool dudes to add to the rest of my favorite dudes
Standing next to each other Guy looks like he could be Jays grown up son.

LOL That's in the next episode... Oh Guy, I just thought you should know...
Two of my favorite celebrity dudes hanging out. Thought they would get some food while they were cruising.
Love Guy & Jay together !
Is this for real...Jay is not wearing a denim shirt?
Yes, very unusual to see Jay out of his normal denim attire, lol...cool cars!!!
Probably went on a wine tasting after this
THERE IS A PHANTOM ON THE LOOSE
laronda10 Leno doesn’t drink bozo
He has to use that giant cart as an intro for GGG at least once.
Lincoln emblems on the back seats? Love it lol
Those are stock deluxe interior emblems not Lincoln emblems.
Two great ( guys) always love watching triple D as well as Jay Leno’s Garage!
Both of these guys are solid folks.

What a cool property!
Great episode, thanks Jay!
The Shopper Chopper has to go on tour and into a museum after Guy finally goes to the big diner, drive - in or dive in the sky.
Who says money can't buy happiness?? Oh yeah poor people. 🤣 🤣

OT/kinda I saw the JL Audio logo on Guy's 'Express Lane' shopping cart...those are some of the best speakers I've ever owned...
Jay positively and absolutely had no clue that was coming 🛒
A GM guy that has to admit, A Cobra is, after-all, a COBRA.
At some point Jay says he had that Camaro thru all seasons? Guys first camaro was a ‘67, it had vent windows and it wasn’t a Rally Sport.

displayfireworks2008 You’re right! Check out the tags on the Camaro-2018! 2yr old clip, but one of the best:))✌️
I too was wondering why they ran this clip as new.
I’m wondering if that’s the same grocery cart I saw at the Woodward dream cruise.
So funny....thanks!
There's a reason to drive that cart slow. Center of gravity.

That Camaro is surprisingly well done. Perfect choice of wheels.
Especially for 28 years ago!
I’d like to know who built it.... it’s 28 seasons of Triple ‘D’.... I doubt it’s 28 years .... Maybe 🤔🤔🤔
Hahahahaha srsly a cart car . You win guy.
Just seen guys 68 camaro.i also have a 68z28.clipengers dealer demo linked to games garner #45 corvet.it is also on Google in the show room floor.
Here’s my claim to fame. Guys grandma was my second grade teacher in elementary school in a small town call Powhatan point Ohio
That Camaro 🤤

I wonder what the dishwashers make in his restaurants
Hopefully just enough to inspire them to quit washing dishes and open a restaurant of their own.
