On the proposal on the boat, a great white shark (the world's largest ever photographed) bit the hull and the boat began to sink. Guy knew that he had to spring into action. Using mayonnaise and glue, Guy (who couldn't swim) dove in without his future fiancee watching and patched the hull - no one was the wiser and Guy eventually patented the product, resulting in tens of millions in sales on the first day - a new sales record at the time. He wears a shark tooth that he recovered from the hull as a necklace, as a reminder to never give up, and to go after your dreams. He still sees the shark swimming occasionally on vacation - the shark seems to know when he's around and they have a connection.
As a Rhode Island woman, this is wicked amazing!!!
Thank you so much for being such a great man!
Wow! What a beautiful thoughtful proposal! Atta Guy!
Guy is Soooo "Full of himself" .....LOLOL
Guy is such an AMAZING story teller. I don't care what he's talking about I'm listening to it.
Wow how thoughtful and sweet of him.
I love Guy the most when his family is included!!! Love his wife and kids.
This guy, Guy is a pure master
Don’t ever show this video to your Wife or you will be sleeping on the couch.
I met that Guy back in the 90’s during the Long Beach Grand Prix. Was cool back then and doesn’t appear to have changed.
Amazing Proposal!
Amazing things happen at the Catalina wine mixer😅
Just don’t mess with his nut.
He’s not arrogant !!!!
Even if it's a true story.. this guy can tell one he'll of a story.
That's as good as it gets. Good luck.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard or seen a proposal like this, ever. lol seriously.
Should have gotten engaged at the effin' Catalina Wine Mixer.
He's got a lot of stories. Quite dramatic stories.
So does my wife. Occasionally one of them is told accurately.
That was it? That was the beginning, wow
I do not believe you can get a 3# Maine lobster due to the slot size...
❤❤❤❤
Please keep Hunter behind the scenes. Guy, he doesn’t have what it takes to be in front of the camera.
@@pattyh2410 please just leave Hunter alone- he’s learning the ropes from his Dad, and he’s just fine in front of the camera! Stop the hate!!
@@christyhoehn8244no hate here, just my observation.
Agreed
@@christyhoehn8244 no hate from me…just an observation.
This man is so full of himself.
❤
Graham is hot!!!!
People are funny. When I first started watching Guy on Graham’s show, everyone loved him. Now he’s so arrogant and ‘all that’. Ugh!
I can't believe I have to block this channel. Why does TH-cam insist on showing this every single time I open it. Who gives a s*** about this guy.
lol which guy the interviewer or guy fieri?
He used to seem so humble, is it me or is there a bit of arrogance now
Agreed
Nope. Just you.
Can’t stand this story
I'm surprised this dude hasn't had skeletons come out about him in the last few years.
Every clip that has been released on this podcast shows him manipulating and trying to turn weird/controlling/power flexing by him into the hero of his story.
What if there are no skeletons ???
@@seancrowley1065 One of his stories was about a super sus drunk driving situation where someone died and another was about him cheating on his girlfriend after meeting the woman that became his wife. He turns his weird behavior into him either being the hero or the victim of a situation. Extremely common for men in business. He 100% has skeletons.
@wolfman8449 beat me to it. Totally agreed.
@@wolfman8449 He wasn't driving, he was framed by three other guys and I believe he was exonerated...
@@ralphgazda6735 Even by his own telling of the story it's super shady. He's a shady dude and a manipulator. My guess is at some point there will be stories about his conduct over the years. He sugar coats and flaunts power flexing way too much to have a clean record, as far as conduct goes.
