They have been available in Australia for years, so we have a bit of experience with them I have a 2017 650nk, that I daily ride. I have nearly 40,000 kms on it with zero issues. I've raced it, toured big miles, commuted daily, riden offroad, anything you can imagine. They are just good bikes for a good price, I love mine!
I found the 650nk to be the most unstable bike, for its weight and size, at slow speeds. The 2015 650nk my friend had was a nightmare to do U-turns; that ended up being the main reason he sold it, tired of laying her down in tight streets.
@@SimonBrisbane resale time isn't an issue. I've got my use out of it, even if it blew up completely today I'd be happy... And the forums only have issues with the electrics on the early models. After 2017 they are great bikes., Sorry you don't have an open mind.
I picked up the sport version a few months ago. I love it. My previous bike was a 2001 R6 a decade ago and I didn't want anything that crazy. The CLX sport checked every box I wanted. It's not the fastest bike on the road(tops at 125 mph), but it's light and flickable and perfect for the CO mountain roads here. And sounds vicious with my knock off SC Project exhaust lol. If you're curious about them, definitely check CFMOTO out.
One of my friend is an owner of smaller cc CFMoto, he did a full disassembly of it and we're very surprised how good the build quality was (comparable to true european bike). The only drawback was the engine was very limited by the ECU compared to other brand, so i recommend you to tune it to get a bit more out of it.
The Chinese are doing the same as the big four did in the 60ies. Building cheap reliable bikes. And every year and model the quality wil be better and better.
Will this hurt the big 4? Probably not but I hope it makes them THINK it will and thus step up their game. I sat on a few CF models yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. Let's see a real head to head, not a press event (awesome you guys got invited).
CFMoto is hurting the big 4 a lot in Asia. A 300cc CFMoto is less than a hundred dollars cheaper than a Yamaha R15 V3 or a Honda CBR150R V4. An R15M or R15 V4 is even more expensive. Insane.
Oh, sure. What im saying is they're already building it now. They've been here for like, 3 years or something now, and they seem to be the best choice among the chinese brands. They've proven how far they reliability is. The big 4 DESTROYS CFMoto bikes on a cc vs cc comparison for specs and reliability, but the price difference is too insane. Most would settle for a cheaper bike with less reliability as long as that unreliability isnt too much. CFMoto seems to have hit that sweet spot. I don't own a CFMoto, but Im a rider in Asia, so word goes around.
Oh when the CFmoto 800 Adventura comes out in the US that is going to be a battle cry against the big 4. It's already upsetting them and other mid weight adv bike makers. Really well spec'd for $10k and a proven power train.
Tbh the reviews the reviews we really need when talking about Chinese brands or heavily Chinese-reliant manufacturers (like Benelli here in Italy or Brixton) should be more the "CF700 20k miles review" kind rather than "whoa these bikes are shiny new and I love how they feel". The problem with these Chinese brands is _how long_ they last and whether what you're saving is really worth all the trips to the mechanic afterwards.
also geo restricted sound like 'Sorry, I can't ride today. My bike account was hacked and I have to pay $400 to get rid of the ransom ware so it will start....' kek. also good luck getting parts if ANYTHING happens in chy na. they look like teeny tiny girl bikes and super uncomfortable to ride.
My mechanic told me straight up. "I'll work on anything except for Chinese bikes." After that I realized if he didn't want to work on them, neither would I.
I'm riding Benelli Imperiale 400, 18k km in and so far so good, minor nicks and niggles like sensor failing that warrants a trip to the dealer but its all fixed under warranty. Heavy little bastard though.
I like the thing Josh did where he talked about the bike while riding it, but from a third-person view. Really showcases the ergonomics, as well as general maneuverability. Please do more of that!
Combine that with KTM licensing the LC8 engine to CfMoto... Could be good. My understanding is that on the 650's (nk, MT/ADVentura) the engine is built from the plans given to them by Kawasaki's ER6N (and bored out to 700cc here). What really makes them *not* race bikes is the weight. This is both a blessing and a curse. Depends on the wind, I suppose.
@@eriksentell4973 I believe the 400 they use is a Kawasaki block as well (many companies like Kymco use this one). There are only a few fully Chinese designed engines I know of (Benda is releasing a few) and they are usually heavy low output twins, and the occasional inline 4 (QJ 600) I heard about one V4 coming along but only making 40kw in released specs... Benelli/QJ is also a mutual production case like KTM and CF. It is hard to nail down where exactly some engines come from originally.
For a newer rider though that gap will be even larger MT-07's have an insane insurance rate. A new rider could be looking at $800+ for basic coverage while the CFMoto's have the benefit of being an unknown commodity and not having squids flipping them raising the rates yet.
Plus you don’t have to tear apart a Japanese bike then reassemble it with proper torque specs and thread locker 😂….literally every Chinese bike is an outdated clone put together by 12 year olds in a factory with suicide prevention nets.
Guys, I saw a clip of someone doing a wheelie on the 650 ADVentura, so I hope you all will do a video on that soon. I looked at the ADVentura, and I was impressed. For less than the base price of its Big Four competition (Kawasaki Versys and Suzuki Vstrom), you get a nice bagger (with removable bags) with an adjustable windshield. The quality of the switchgear was better than expected. CFMOTO offers a LOT for the money! Their bikes, ATVs, and UTVs offer standard features that are options on other marques. Should the Big Four be looking over their shoulders? Yes, definitely.
They are basically a fully loaded Versus 650. Same engine and frame. The head tech at the local dealership put Metzler's on it and took it off roading and relayed that it's actually really good. CFmoto just released this week that they are bringing the 800MT to the US next year, I highly advise you look at it. I put my name down for the first one coming to the dealership and plan on putting a deposit down. Well specd and optioned for the price.
I bought a 700clx heritage after a lot of research. I test road the 650nk and the 700clx. I come from a Harley background and I was very impressed with the fit and finish on these bikes. O chose the 700clx over the 650nk because the 700 had more power and was super smooth. The 650nk was super buzzy at higher RPMs. I have been extremely pleased with the bike. I have a around 700-800 miles on mine and commute 64 miles round trip for work on 2 lane highways with major western Kansas winds and I love this bike. I got hurt at work over a month ago and haven’t been able to ride since or is have way more miles on mine. Also cruise control is another reason I chose the 700clx over the 650nk.
Thanks for sharing. I’ve been waiting for someone to mention the use of the cruise control and overall ownership experience. Hope you have a speedy recovery so that you can enjoy it more.
Is there an English language shop manual available so a DIY owner can do maintenance? How is the cost of things like air and oil filters? Do the 700cc bikes have DOHC cams with under-bucket shims that are hard to get to for valve adjustments?
They could remap it for free at the dealer, they will remove the restriction of power in the lower rpms so it can be linear. They made it that way for beginner riders.
Exactly like I have done with my 2017 650NK , in the older versions 2015 -2019 with the Ducati ECU all you do is remove the throttle stop on the inlet and you go from 50hp to 70+ hp , yes the dash flashes the TPS light when you open them up ( 2 long and 5 short flashes about every 5 minutes ) but thats not a problem , you can't do this with the newer 650NK's because the Bosch ECU has a brain fart and will shut down ! .
This. I was looking forward to buy one but then their website lists Mt-09 for sale here in India but not he Mt-07. Which is weird given the demographic.
Yeah, there are exactly 2 used MT07 for sale within a 150 mile radius of me (southeastern United States). Private seller, 2019 with low miles, asking price is $6900 (nice) which is pretty absurd given how much it runs for new. Then again, a local dealer is trying to get $15k a new 2022 MT07. A used dealer model is a 2018 with 21k miles, asking price is also $6900.
This is a huge issue indeed, I ordered my mt-07 in april of this year and it was expected to be delivered in september/august. They called and said its gonna be January/March/February 2023. Wich really sucks. I mean i have beater bike in the mean while but thats a long time to wait.
The value proposition is even bigger for the Adventura. $6800 including paniers and hand guards, whereas you're looking at about $9000 for a base line vstrom 650 or versys 650. Hell, even a CB500X is $7200. Definitely an enticing option.
Yeah don’t get me wrong those cafe bikes are cool, but I am most interested in the adventure one too. For the price, nothing beats it! Thought about getting a KLR but this seems like a way better option.
The review was a bit confusing. They open by hammering on the engine and the wierd mapping and then end with "it's a great and smooth engine". Which one is it? I'd love to hear what Yammie has to say about this bike. Pity he didn't get to ride it.
Josh explains that he was treating it as a race bike and noticed a wonky engine mapping, I on the other hand never experienced that and only experienced it’s smoothness 🤷♂️
So it’s inconsistent. Good old fine tolerance Chinese lumps. See Fortnine’s recent video on engine oil quality from different manufacturers. I wouldn’t touch CF Moto with your money.
@@SimonBrisbane Maybe. But to set the record straight, CFMOTO bikes were nowhere to be found in North America when Fortnine did that video. Let's not lump everything together. I've heard good things about cfmoto.
@@SimonBrisbane no. you can be nonlinear and still smooth. What he was describing was a slower buildup to power and then the power coming on more quickly within a particular power band depending on the mode. This isnt anything new nor is it necessarily a negative thing. It merely approaches peak power faster the closer to the peak power band you get instead of increasing at roughly the same amount until you get to that peak power. Looks more like a bell curve than a linear equation. that is all
Bought the heritage 5 weeks ago.. My first bike and now 5 weeks later, I got the license! I fell in love with it just based by looks and the first time I took it out then it was the -Comfort -sound (stock.. STOCK SOUND) -power -Easy to maneuver Just going to the store is such a feeling with this one and i've been driving the MT-07 & 09, Different triumph bikes, 650's, 1200's harleys, choppers.. I'm in love with this one, and because it's so new and unknown EVERYONE askes questions and my bike buddies hate it because I usually get the all the looks and not them with their R1:s. Got poor buying this bike, and getting the license (Sweden) but i'm happier than ever, money doesn't have ANY value if what you do gives you happiness and joy. Thank you Yammie for uploading this because I was so unsure about if what I felt was correct, everytime I explained about what CFMOTO is and all it was nice, but as soon as I said Chinese then I got the look of disgust.. Anywhoo time to enjoy one ride, poor but genuinly happy.
Glad your reviewing this bike. Tested it out in the beginning of summer and I wasn't interested in buying it to be honest. I wanted to see how much bike for the low price tag
My very first bike back in 2011 was a CFmoto V3 and I LOVED IT!!! I’ll always have a place in my heart for that little Automatic 250cc starter bike. I remember feeling so cool riding around and always got lots of attention, blaring the MP3 player through the stock stereo system. Loved it.
I have a 2021 CF Moto 300NK as a first bike, I am now upgrading. It has been amazing to learn on. I test drove other naked bikes and felt there wasn't too much of a difference. The extremely low price for a brand new bike was a deal breaker as I didn't have much funds at the time. I'm happy to see CF Moto break the US market. The parts have improved immensely in recent years deriving from KTM dukes and new Bosch electronics.
I test rode this bike at a demo event with a bunch of other dudes and we all agreed this thing is well worth the price. One of the guy's bought one on the spot. This thing is seriously connected and fun.
@@silkmonkey definitely, when the torque curve and hp come on it will rocket you. Way too much for a first bike but, their 650 could be a good first bike. It's a Kawasaki 650 with just a tiny bit less HP and torque. It's smooth and not as abrupt while also being able to do highway speeds.
It's fine for a beginner, there really isn't much difference between it and the 650 as it just a slightly larger version of the same engine. They're not race bikes, you'll be fine if you are careful
in my country cfmoto actually lets you remap them, they actually take the bike in and they'll remap it for you for free to get a better throttle response
We are slow to recognise that we are living in the era of what historians will call the Chinese Empire. Look at what they have achieved since the 1950’s. They have invested globally. Their long term planning is all about owning and controlling international assets.
I dunno about y’all but I can’t really get behind these chinese bikes because of quality, longevity, and parts/service support; but part of me is glad that they exist to keep the big brands on their toes.
@@MagWire8 that’s where I’ve got another problem with the big brands…I’d prefer brands like Honda to still make all their bikes in Japan or maybe even Thailand. I’m just not a fan of everything being manufactured over there in china. Just my 2¢.
@@evs8383 I agree for the most part. But I won’t by junk wether it’s from China or the USA. I’m a heavy equipment tech so quality in tools is important cheap quality tools don’t last but quality and price do not always go hand in hand.
@@MagWire8 oh I definitely agree…I don’t care if it’s made made in the USA but it’s crap I.e. some older craftsman ratchets. I much prefer my Taiwanese made pitsburgh pro stuff from harbor freight. I’m not a professional mechanic so I don’t need Mac, Snap On, or Matco. I just generally would like to see more manufacturing come back here to the states, the Japanese brands keep it japan etc. I think everyone has gotten too comfortable with manufacturing stuff in china which I think can be related to why we have so many chinese clones of all the Honda motors and clone XR50s,70s, etc.
I bought one of the first year 2013 cfmoto nk650 (restricted) in Australia for $2,500 AUD (1700 or so USD back then when I bought it second hand in 2018) It's been an absolute blast! There has been absolutely no complaints on my end. I even got the bike unrestricted and it's been even more fun. Honestly can see myself staying on this one for a very long time No issues with anything so called "Chinese parts". Everything has kept up to what you would expect from any other premium brand From what I've seen they have just gotten better and better
Hello Yammie. What kind of phone mount would work on the CLX 700 Sport? The grip room on the sport seems to be pretty crowded and won't leave enough room for the clamp type quad lock. But will the stem mount be compatible? It seems the fork stem bolt is in different shape from most other bikes with clip on bars.
Honestly, need to see an "on the road" review, like you said, you couldn't really put them through their paces, and let's be honest, that's what we're all looking for here.... Lol!
I bought a new 2021 MT-07 in March (hit by a drunk driver 2 months later, but she's almost fixed) and I started getting ads for the CLX700 and honestly loved the way it looked. No buyers remorse though, insurance said with inflation an MT-07 is worth $13k right now. No idea how but I'm not arguing lol.

10 years of not riding and I just bought (8/5/22) the 700 Heritage version I absolutely love it! It has been a great re-entry bike. I'm just shy of 6ft tall and it is extremely comfortable. I will agree that the "sport" mode is a little unusual and not as smooth as I'd like it, but damn does it go at that 6500-7000 rpm range. Going 65 on the hwy in 6th, it has plenty of room to pass with ease. This is definitely something the big 4 should be keeping an eye on. Can't beat it for the price!
Is this at the highway safety course in St. Cloud? Looks like the St. Cloud prison in the background that’s across the highway from it. If so, I work at the power sports dealer about a mile south from there! Neat to know you guys were possibly right down the road!
I understand our addiction to Chinese cheap "stuff".... I am not immune to this phenomenon of modern Earth living. However.... I will absolutely draw the line - deep and wide- on buying a Chinese motorcycle. This is way past my limits. Sorry....NOT SORRY.
Living in China for five years (leaving soon), riding here for two ( QJ-Benelli 500) . My buddies said not to get this bike because of the electronic throttle delay. Majority of the Chinese reviews say the same. Sounds similar to the complaint with the trident 660 throttle. I like the looks; Chinese bikes use lots of LEDs… and it is, or maybe was now, the cheapest Brembo equip bike here with the sport package (but the regular has better colors imo). (Edited after finishing the video 😅)
@@slifer1002 Cool. That seems like a huge complaint here, so it’ll probably be addressed in the next model year (or ECU mapping). I think they have a lot to go with using their KTM derived twins
@@DeeoMaika From what I’ve heard this is a modified and detuned LC8c engine. I’ll have to get back to you when my friend at KTM China gets an answer at work Monday haha He did say all large engines (above 650) CF uses are KTM based, but he is in the off-road department, so not too familiar with the dukes and CF bikes. The 650 and 400s are from older Kawasaki blocks. Not sure about their 250s and smaller.
I wish them well, However I am still very happy that I reserved the only MT07 my dealer is getting, although the delivery date got pushed back to September
Tried one of CFMOTO's motorcycle and not gonna lie, it's actually great. It's just that they're new to the game and we got this made in China stigma but over all the bike's great and this will also challenge the competition in favor to us consumers.
@@SimonBrisbane you always get what you pay for. You think you can get a Japanese or German build ultra quality machine for this kind of price new? Get real buddy.

I have the Sports, and I replaced the clipons with that one on the Heritage. Now my arms and back are more relaxed now. The problem I have right now is the speed sensor error. My local dealer here in the Philippines can't resolve the issue until now.
At the start of the video thoughts were engine was weird, sluggish and jerky. At the end it was smooth and lots of power and usable rpm. Which one is it? Also why say it's reliable? How do we know?
@@Situationdevelopment maybe. I know a few people with cfmoto atv's and they seem fine. Be interesting to see when the real reviews come out. They are for sale here in Canada already.
I'm so happy you guys are looking into cfmoto. I almost got one instead of my r6 so now I'm gonna get a papio or 300nk just for around town sense they are a stupid good deal
Do you think the sport would be better for bigger size riders? As you've mentioned, it got wider seat. Being 6'2" and 300 lbs, I had to upgrade the seats on all my bikes to wider ones so my butt doesn't hurt.
But I do agree with Josh that the Heritage model is a little more comfortable. (If I was gonna go on a long ride I would rather be on the heritage) But I sure do enjoy hitting curvy roads on my Sport
Chinese bikes can be pretty good, there are a mountain of options in Europe. It's just... they lack in the post purchase experience and community aftermarket. I would take the MT, because you can sell and get a massive chunk back.
I’m excited to see you guys flying the newbies out for a test ride. Sounds like an awesome place to work if I ever come to Texas expect to see my application!
I see lots of reliability praise in the comments but all this positive talk and all these channels making videos on these bikes and talking about how amazing they are is a new thing. Ive seen videos for years made by owners saying they break constantly and are beyond cheap. Im very concerned that this channel has such a glowing review. It is the 1st time i question my the the integrity of this channel. "They didnt pay us" literal next line = thank you cf moto for our all expenses paid trip to film content. Pfft sure bud
This is a popular bike in my country and they already have community here and they ride all the time, it's a reliable machine as per them with 0 issues. So probably getting CLX sports.
here in my country they have the same price as an used mt07, but the thing is I can get parts for any yamaha bike everywhere, I can get it serviced everywhere, but not sure if I can do the same with a cfmoto
Coming out the gate a little defensive there Yam. They make the KTM motor. So what? That's not a point in their favor imo. So the same factory that makes these bikes also makes one of the high maintenance motors. That while they have done a lot to fix the problem, it still likes to kill it's self? And to put it in another way the same factory that makes efest bomb batteries makes Samsung 25Rs.
It is very good looking. But what I've noticed with Chinese vehicles, as we get them here on our side of the world. Is they look nice, they come in looking as nice as locally established brands like Toyota and Vw, and they're cheaper. So that's their appeal, is that they look as good as the competition but they're cheaper. But then 3 years later you're no longer seeing them running on the road. Whereas you can see a Toyota from 15 years ago still looking good
@@bulthaosen1169 it's not the same engine but it's made in the same factory by the same people. Cfmoto is also well established in the ATV world and has good reliability.

One thing not really discussed in much detail is the lowish seat height of the CL-X. This is absolutely a huge plus. As someone who is 5'5" with a 27" inseam, most bikes don't fit me very well. The ones that do fit pretty well are marketed and powered as "beginner" bikes. I was shocked when I sat on the CL-X Heritage and I fit on it beautifully. Both balls of my feet I can get down and it doesn't feel heavy at all. Add in cruise control, 2 year warranty (in USA), 500 dealers throughout the USA, and low price you better know the other manufacturers MUST step up their game or they're about to get smoked. The only thing that could derail CF Moto motorcycle offerings in the USA is if they turn out to be crap a year or two down the road. If they are reliable.... watch out.
Guys, you need to check the BBB rating and complaints first of dead motors before calling them *reliable*. Just check BBB ratings and reviews, 1.65/5 stars, not good....

It's not the fastest bike on the road(tops at 125 mph), but it's light and flickable and perfect for the CO mountain roads here. And sounds vicious with my knock off SC Project exhaust lol. If you're curious about them, definitely check CFMOTO out.
It's decent, nice, and heavy. Complete opposite of the R6 you had before, but definitely a good switch if you want something tamer
Yes I just picked one up and it’s everything I could imagine! The tech, cruse control, and how eco and sport more feels great!
Insane.
I can't speak outside the US but brand recognition and loyalty play a big part here and CF hasn't built that yet.
Thanks for the awesome content, I've seen these and been very interested in CFMOTO for a smaller bike option.

I have a 5 year old 640nk, going strong every day with zero issues. 25,000kms
My mechanic told me straight up. "I'll work on anything except for Chinese bikes." After that I realized if he didn't want to work on them, neither would I.
@@gregorymosher8319 - Was the mechanic's choice for political or mechanical reasons?
I can imagine having strong feelings about both aspects.
CF moto is partnered with KTM btw. Have a friend working at KTM in China and they have a conjoined factory
Nice bike but I think the $1,000 more for the Yamaha and it's quality and track record of reliability is worth the extra.
For a newer rider though that gap will be even larger MT-07's have an insane insurance rate. A new rider could be looking at $800+ for basic coverage while the CFMoto's have the benefit of being an unknown commodity and not having squids flipping them raising the rates yet.
nice, you guys get the mt-07 cheap, in Mexico it costs $12,000.00 USD vs $8,500.00 USD of the CFMOTO 700
And you don't support a communist country that suppresses people's freedoms in the process.
+ parts + dealers + selling ....
Thats what slave labor gets yeah.. all in all chinese engineering stolen or not has came a long way.

Omg. I heard it.
Finally Yammie caught on with the CF Moto wave. Ive owned a Heritage for more than a year now and still very happy with it. I LOVE IT!!!!
They could remap it for free at the dealer, they will remove the restriction of power in the lower rpms so it can be linear. They made it that way for beginner riders.
What country are you in?
Exactly like I have done with my 2017 650NK , in the older versions 2015 -2019 with the Ducati ECU all you do is remove the throttle stop on the inlet and you go from 50hp to 70+ hp , yes the dash flashes the TPS light when you open them up ( 2 long and 5 short flashes about every 5 minutes ) but thats not a problem , you can't do this with the newer 650NK's because the Bosch ECU has a brain fart and will shut down ! .
What is killing the MT 07 (and many other sport bikes) is that there are few available for purchase.
This. I was looking forward to buy one but then their website lists Mt-09 for sale here in India but not he Mt-07. Which is weird given the demographic.
Had to drive 5 hours for my 2022 mt-09
Yeah, there are exactly 2 used MT07 for sale within a 150 mile radius of me (southeastern United States). Private seller, 2019 with low miles, asking price is $6900 (nice) which is pretty absurd given how much it runs for new. Then again, a local dealer is trying to get $15k a new 2022 MT07. A used dealer model is a 2018 with 21k miles, asking price is also $6900.
@@umbrellasecurityforces1074 I paid retail price for my 22 09, like 10500 idk who thinks they can charge 15k for an 07 but they're insane..
This is a huge issue indeed, I ordered my mt-07 in april of this year and it was expected to be delivered in september/august. They called and said its gonna be January/March/February 2023. Wich really sucks. I mean i have beater bike in the mean while but thats a long time to wait.
"Flew us out"
Yeah thats the moment where your good opinions on this bike doesnt count, youre paid to say nice things to it.
The value proposition is even bigger for the Adventura. $6800 including paniers and hand guards, whereas you're looking at about $9000 for a base line vstrom 650 or versys 650. Hell, even a CB500X is $7200. Definitely an enticing option.
I bought a 650 Adventura and it's awesome.

If they are reliable.... watch out.
I've got a 5 year old 650nk with no issues so that model at least is good

Guys, you need to check the BBB rating and complaints first of dead motors before calling them *reliable*. Just check BBB ratings and reviews, 1.65/5 stars, not good....
Not a fan of apps for vehicles . So many apps on my phone already, it is getting harder to disconnect
My girlfriend has the 300ss CFMOTO and got to say that I’m fairly impressed by it and me have 400 miles on it I love how torque it is just wish they made a 650 sport bike dressed
I own one of the CLX700 Heritage. Most fun I’ve had on a bike for years
Would you mind sharing: your riding style?
2) current likes/dislikes?
3) Interstate comfort (have you used it’s cruise control)?
Thanks in advance.
@@schwarzermond6033 I rode her on a 400 mile trip. I’m not sure about the rear fender. That’s only a styling thing. I got the optional taller seat from new. I’m 6ft4in. I love the quirky looks. I actually was going too get an XSR700 Originally. Then saw this. I tend too buy on looks. BT1100 Bulldog. TRX850. Gilera Nordwest. All different from the norm. I can honestly say this is one of the best bikes I’ve owned. I’ve got the Heritage with the single disc on the front with the JJuan calliper. Fasting bike for a 700twin. 120mph. Stops on a dime. Great handling. Odd looking tyres by Pirelli (same as the Ducati Desert sled. grip like shit too a blanket. Had It backing in too a corner. Never felt like it was gonna get away from me. I removed the rubber inserts from rider pegs for better feel. Rubber inserts made it feel “disconnected”. In uk it was just over £6000.
I own one too, and I am really satisfied with it. Agile, smooth and brutal when you want.
Good grip on the asphalt and allows rolling on dirt roads without problems, I would say that the weak point is autonomy.
very enjoyable
How do you compare the power against the MT07 and Trident?
I owned a 2019 XSR700 and sold it one year later to buy a more classic-looking one (Kawa W800) I love the W800 but miss the XSR like the one that got away.
Now that my financial situation is better I was considering buying an old cheap XSR, but these bikes look rad, maybe a pull the trigger on a new one instead.
They practically give you the bike so you can sign over all of your life on the apps terms and conditions.
Typical American mentality, like the FBI, CIA, NSA, Google, Microsoft, Apple are not the same or worse. They accuse without evidence, as America said without evidence that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, then we came to know that they did not exist. Not that I approve of what Iraq has done, but this American fear mentality is ridiculous.
Looked at these bike on there stand at the bike show last year,we were all very impressed
My local dealership who’s sister dealership has CFmoto, told me they don’t sell them at their location because they don’t last.
I like the 700CLX. I like it enough where I’m thinking that might be the next one I add to my stable. Good bang for buck and it’s comfortable. I can’t believe it’s got over 70hp and cruise control for less than $7K!
I bought the 300nk as a beginner rider. For my daily commute. I love it so far
Dose the CFMoto app work with the clx 700 sport/heritage?
Okay.......listening at a decently high volume with my earbuds..........4:58 ??? Who ripped a$$???? Lol
Missed the Triumph give away. The CF Moto looks to be my next bike hopefully. Started with a /94 Suzuki intruder because it's what I could afford in /96. Yamaha has always been my love as I had a black and yellow bicycle with shocks as a kid. Then the next was the absolutely wonderful 2005 Yamaha FZ-1. Still my dream bike. 0 - 97,500 miles before going to the 2015 Yamaha FJ-09. Love center stands on a sporty bike. Fz-1whas more comfortable and would like to get back on one. Just can't find any around here anyone will let go of. Gave up the FJ-09 as had several back surgeries and shattered ankle in 3 spots. Not from bike.
These things are selling below $6K right now prior to TTTL. I'd get one as a second bike, they are really very nice looking IMO. If it was my only bike I'd go with the Japanese, even if I was paying 2 grand more. I guarantee the resale value is going to be crapola! Probably be able to get one a couple years old for $2K
I have been waiting for you do this review die too long
Does the Heritage not have a larger (19"?) front wheel? I didn't hear it mentioned and it seems like it's more of a key difference that the handlebars.
Josh and Whitney work well together. As for CF Moto, they aren’t far above Royal Enfield in price point, with performance comparable to the Japanese brands. Interesting entry into the market.
Comparable to what Japanese bikes, lol
@@brandonwalker6781 the cfmoto has nearly identical specs to a Suzuki SV650 and it costs $800 less. So around %11 less expensive and the cfmoto has more tech. It also has better specs and tech than the kawasaki z650 while being $1000 cheaper.
@@teddy3967 listen spec sheet warrior have u ridden anything cfmoto owned? No? Good, great, keep it pushing
@@teddy3967 u kids crack me up, Chinese made will always be shit. Buy one, when it breaks in a month and u can get parts or service then sing their praises
@@brandonwalker6781 I've ridden a ktm 790 adventure which is made by cfmoto in china. The reliability is not great like every other ktm produced in Austria. I dislike the CCP and would avoid buying chinese products to not support the CCP however not everything made in china is shit, most are shit but not everything.
How does the suspension handle larger heavier riders?. I hate changing springs and shocks and saddles
I have a 2016 CFMOTO 650nk and have not had any problems out of it and I ride the shit out of it and it's 7 years old so...............
Excellent commentary. Thanks for sharing. I'm making my purchase(22 CFM 700CL-X) before 2023. 💯
I got the chance to sit on 5 of their bikes at my closest dealership. Looking for my first bike, and I'm really considering one of their models for my first motorcycle. Great video! Did you get to record any rides on other models?
They did the 300 if you look back at the videos you should be able to find it. I think they posted it within the last 30 days!
@@FlyLikeRedBull just found it, thanks!
You sound like a gambler. They’ll never get my money.
