hi - I'm in Australia and looking at this bike too. Looks good, and is a good price. Bikes here on our second hand market is not good - prices are high and not many for sale. So maybe a new CL-X...?
I have one of these. I find that the soft touch on the controls is nice but takes some getting used to. They are very reliable. You just have to trust your touch and your bike and it's all good. I love! my CLX Heritage. But that Urine sample container for a break reservoir has to be re designed LOL. I am 6' 220lbs and find the breaks more than adequate. At my size and weight the suspension seems perfect but for a smaller rider I would soften them a touch. Bruh! looks like you might have dropped it once or twice LOL. In the end. I have ridden Harley's all my life and I love the hell out of this bike. It's got power, Quality, sexy and it's just an all around kick ass bike especially for the price and size.

i actually test the units nk 400 and clx 700 and for me clx 700 is a bang for your buck considering the clx 700 sport which is day and night compared to the normal one. the nk400 is of course a competitor when it comes to its price point. But just lacks that premium and easiness to drive it.

Lovely bike!!!!! Excellent review & thank you :) . As a 50 years old beginner, do you recommend this beauty to a beginner as a first bike!? Thanx and regards from Serbia :)
I rode a Moto Guzzi v85tt with cruise control, to turn it off on that one, one of the ways you could do it is by decelerating. For me that's the most convenient way to turn off cruise control, is this a possibility on the cf moto or is it only done by pulling in the clutch, braking or accelerating? Besides of course pressing the button again
Looks big & imposing (fat 180-section rear & 18" front help give that impression), but it's actually small & manageable when you sit on it. Well behaved, it purrs along with good manners... until you switch to SPORT & rip the throttle open past 6000rpm. Enough torque to forgive you when you miss your gearshifts. Very easy handling, low seat height, weighs absolutely nothing. And where I live it's a hefty 25% cheaper than the SV650. Verdict - 700cc power in a modern, generously specced package that's actually financially accessible & totally unintimidating to ride. Perfect beginner's first big bike!
Great review! Do you mind sharing your source regarding the launch of clx sport this year? Was told previously that there is no guarantee if it will launch in ph. Thanks, man!

Great review bro! Really looking to buy this bike (its 6000€ where I live), but I, as a begginer who only ride scooter before, am abit scared as my first bigger bike. Does it have traction control and is TC necessary on bikes? And do you consider this a better option as my other choices would be KTM Duke 390(it has traction control) and maybe Yamaha MT-03. I am 178cm (kinda short) and skinny guy , so smalled bike would give me more confidence. CL-X would be the best looking of all three, but I am unsure which option to go with. Thank you!!

My bike dropped in the garage for no reason, my Honda CBR500 never dropped in 2 years, that when I realized something is wrong with the stand, doesnt lean enough. luckly, bunch of boxes acted as cushion to avoid damage to the bike.
