Yo my G first of all a massive shout back to you dude you took me by surprise there👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Great to see you back posting videos again you’ve been missed so has the Panigale. This obviously was a very worthwhile mod for your bike judging by your opinion on it. I remember my Daytona 675R had a sloppy throttle but obviously that was easily sorted by adjusting the throttle cable but it was definitely one of my pet hates so i can appreciate exactly what you’re saying here. Again massive respect for your kind words at the end of the video much love ❤️ back to you bro uk 🇬🇧 Adam 👊
doesn't happen to me after installing spacer; you need to bleed your clutch right on top. get a speed bleeder and do it often; you can easily bleed the clutch every week. the spacers are awesome; much easier to ride at slower speeds. the word you are looking for is the throttle is more precise. too bad you lost a lot of time riding without the spacers, i got mine almost right away. definitely a must but the product has nothing to do with ducati oem.
Yeah i do need to flush the lines 😂. But i later realized that it was just a different feeling from not having the spacer to having it. I actually didn’t mind the no spacers for a while because the 1299 is pretty tame in terms of torque on demand compared to the r1. The 1299 was super smooth to me in comparison. Now that i have the spacers though, i can see why people were telling me how much of a difference they made. Had i not ever changed them, i would have not even noticed an issue with the throttle slop. Again, that’s because the r1 was just immediately all of the torque down low where as the 1299 is more of a gradual feeling.
@@adobomoto perhaps you need to flush your lines, that's a separate job and you may or may not get to it anytime soon. but what you really should do NOW is bleed your clutch. that's a different task and it only takes a few seconds, less than a minute and anyone can do it. the panigale is notorious for this issue with the stock master and slave cylinder and if you really enjoy the effects of the spacers, you'll find that getting the bubbles out on the other side will be equally as exciting. i challenge you to do it and then come back here and tell us it didn't help; it makes riding 10 times better especially if you have the problem and it's chronic. it's absolutely no fun when you are at a stop light but you have to hunt for neutral (or even sometimes forgo neutral because you didn't go into neutral before you came to a stop) because it's so uncomfortable on the clutch. try it!
Ken Steele i just haven’t had time to hit the store to get my rbf600. But yeah, i noticed it on a ride before this one, i had lost all my grab from the clutch master. Did a quick bleed and it solved that issue for the time being. Then i made this video and it wasn’t until your comment that i realized that my master might have a leak. I’ll be reaching out to some companies to try and get a “influencer discount” and an rcs master. I have a full warranty on the bike, but if they’re just going to replace it with an oem one that will fail again in the future then it’s pointless. But trust me, i’m aware of this issue.
needing no throttle when letting off the clutch is a big engine with big torque thing. I'm pretty sure u coulda done the same prior to install hehe *Just got to later in the vid and saw you notice this lmao*
@@adobomoto i wonder if i fit it on my hypermotard 939. Not listed on the website as compatible though :/ would it really be a different throttle mechanism...?
Mark Kharouta it’s worth trying. Open it up and send me a pic on ig. I can see if it lines up. Or message them on fb and ask if it works for the hyper.
Don’t the spacers only take up slack from closed? So the only difference will be felt off of closed throttle. Where I would find that annoying is low speed putting around the gas station, with no slack you end up revving on people like you’re snowcat, ask me how I know. Lol
