i’ve almost given up telling folks this… But the slack in the throttle is there for a reason! Trust me. While it might feel more responsive to you, it will do long term damage to your starter and ride by wire over time. Every master Ducati mechanic i know has seen this. Throttle spacers are an excuse for poor throttle control. It’s there for a reason, ESPECIALLY on the track

Yeah I like my sloppy throttle. I have nearly 13000 miles on my V4S Streetfighter and I prefer the slop. It’s forgiving for when you have those “Oh S*it” moments, like hitting a bump in the road or something.

@@Whatever_Rad exactly - throttle control seems like a lost art these days.... So many rider aids. The slop is there for a reason. If it wasn't, Ducati would just eliminate it.

@@marko9010 I'm not a mechanic, but 3 master certified Ducati mechanics have me this is the case. I had one on my street bike and my mechanic wasn't happy when he saw it. On the track i had one too for a while and it is SUPER dangerous there. The slack in the throttle is there for a reason. Throttle control. Its super super important, especially on the track. To me, these throttle spacers are not needed if you know how to ride the bike well and understand the meaning and use of throttle control.
