The only word to describe that couple is goals. Doesnt even matter if you like subies, evos, skylines, Mazda, Toyota, or any of the brands. As long as you find that one person that can share that passion with you, that's what counts.

I just got a 2013 Subaru STI. And the first day I drove it back to my room there was another Subaru hatchback around the same gen as mine and was waving at me. I waved back, but it just put a big smile on my face lol.

100% agree most people who own sports cars and muscle cars can't drive the car at the limit when it's stock, and I don't mean doing pulls, progess with the car.
Same way with jeeps. You don't drive the for comfort, you drive them cause you have a passion. My 95 Cherokee, I don't get many waves back.

Love Markos' statements about just drive it as is and don't try to build a car before you try the sport. I started in a stock, auto, Chrysler Sebring sedan on all seasons in SCCA H street autocross. Ya, I wasn't winning but I was having fun and learning. Meanwhile, people would refuse to take their Audi S4 or Jetta until it had coil overs or sway bars or whatever. Here I am a couple years later winning local events in my new car with nothing but good tires while they're still sitting on the sideline waiting to jump in. Like Markos said, just go out and try it. If a stock early 2000s Sebring can survive and be fun, so can your car.

Well done your videos as re always such high quality. I whole heartily agree with them on not needing a lot of work on your car when you start track days. me and my brother rebuilt his old Mk2 Jetta with a 2l 8v making about 100hp and stock suspension as he only does 1-2 track day sessions a year yet we still have fun out there.

YES! Give that thing an alignment and go track it on the stock tires. So tired of people acting like they're so bad, yes they'll chunk when you overhear the crap out of them and yes you'll pick up 4+ seconds with some 200tws but there's zero reason not to use them till they're dead if you're just getting into tracking! Nail your driver mod first!

Man I love love loooove this channel and I love these guys and her opening line almost had me in tears, it is a lifestyle and somehow sacred, I'm dreaming of owning a Subaru since I was 15 and now I'm 29 and still looking for that and forever will but you know when sometimes hope slip away from your soul and you get to almost abandon your dream, these videos refresh it and make you believe again and stick to these dreams even more. Unfortunately Egypt is where I live and there're only like 4 or 5 sti subarus (maybe less) here and it's almost impossible to modify cars this crazy but even that will never kill hope. I dream of owning a garage full of subarus one day and spread its wonderful culture and spirit all over the place. Idk why I had to say all of this but these videos gets me and this channel is great, I almost watched every video here and enjoyed every single one of them. I live in Vermont. If every Subaru driver waved at the other subie drivers, they would all lose their arms due to over use. Here, subies are on the road every 50 feet.

This make my feel like million dollars, now i know am not the only one driving a n/a Subaru.
Regular J Garage I actually got started doing trackdays in that RS! It used to be Crystal Grey Metallic and was flogged every month at NASA AZ trackdays! But I had the itch for more power haha.
Hah, I daily a 09 Legacy. It's NA as hell but it does the job and scoots pretty good on snow. A lot of people daily na/ subes.

In mi case I was in someones back yard and he had I found a 02 Subaru Impreza sport wagon, 5 speed with rod knock for $350 dollars and I am glad cause in the Subaru community I have found really good people like this couple.

I would take my subaru to the track, but it's a bone stock forester with 200k miles. I am afraid I will break it. That said, maybe I shouldn't be. I routinely take it on 1k to 2k road trips without blinking.
The Track is wayyy different from a road trip. But either way... SEND IT

You could try doing an auto cross event before doing a full-on track day. Not exactly the same, but you can at least see how your car holds up when being pushed.
nooranik21 yeah man get a feel for the car so you can know how it acts and reacts so you can change problems accordingly.. the main thing about racing is consistency and average speed.. a Civic SI with only a Cold Air Intake and handling mods only can beat cars that have more power with only a nice suspension setup, tires and brakes..and most importantly, *Driver Mod* because it'll help you keep quick times even though your car doesn't make as much power as everyone else... So please do give it a shot and remember, you'll get better with time so if you mess up or get discouraged, always remember how much sweeter it'll be when you become so good at it from practicing!
