Boa noite, Ricardo - unfortunately I cannot confirm if the 58" version is using a VA panel, it is not mentioned here: www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/b9541fa3 It should be VA as all 58" TVs I've seen are using that panel, such as this one: www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/9cc52470 But in terms of performance, for a real upgrade over the existing Samsung, I would recommend either Hisense U7QF or U8QF or if you can get Samsung's 2020 QLED LCD TVs - they are now on great discount as new TVs are arriving soon.

I don’t see anywhere which panel type is on the 58”, but I would say it is a VA type. That means higher contrast and better blacks when compared to the 55” IPS, but more narrow viewing angle.
In my experience, Saphi is overall not that bad. It worked faster on my TV then in this unit though, and without glitches. Biggest minuses: - overall lack of apps - having to exit aps to enter full settings menu (some settings are available without exiting, but you have to press few extra clicks to get to them also) Also, TV remote pairing needed for Alexa is very frustrating - it gets lost sometimes, and if you have second remote (like STB remote with programable basic butons for TV), it gets all messed up and you can't pair it anymore.
Please help me to decide which Philips TV should I buy. This one 55PUS7805 or a little bit more expensive 50PUS8505 (The one) Is the only main difference here is the operating system or there is something more worth spending extra money on? Thank you!!! :)

Hey Darko. Did you notice strange greyish tones in HDR on this unit? Like grey hairlines etc. I have this tv, and had to convert HDR to SDR on my Blu-ray to remove this whilst watching 4k movies. Is my tv broken, or does this Philips tv not handle HDR very well?
Hey Jonas - yes, I've noticed pale colors in HDR (not HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, just standard HDR10). As I measured color gamut I noticed that colors are undersaturated so I had to raise Color control to get deeper colors. Too bad that this TV doesn't have CMS because Color control is increasing saturation of all colors and you cannot adjust them individually if they are going off the target. On my unit when I got Red and Blue at right saturation, Green was off target, moved towards yellow. It is a compromise, but definitely better than default pale picture. Hope this helps.

Stream videos are always a problem with web browsers in the TVs. Maybe better for you to get Xiaomi Mi TV stick with Android TV and install some app designed for streaming.

Saphi is horrible.Philips should bin it .LG have said they will share their Web OS with other manufacturers.Hopefully Philips will be in queue for that. I just bought this tv and so far I like it.
Philips Saphi is the absolute worst of the worst on Smart TV's. Alexa often doesnt even work on the TV, it hangs if Dolby Visual is active, there is always a commercial on the left side etc.
@@TVguyDarko ended up going for the safer choice in the 65pus7906/12 with 2x 2.3hdmi ports running Android 10 as I just couldn't bare to have to exit apps while fine tuning it retails at £820 and I picked it up for £540 after cashback, as I know the android likes zigbee3.0 the hue bridge runs on for the ambilight + hue to be in sync and didn't want to chance saphi being a new os incase it was a lil laggy with lights 👌
In the app store there should be a green item somewhere in the bottom that let's you change country settings. If the app is not available in the country you selected during the installation, you can change it here.

Hey Marvin - I could not find a way to connect Bluetooth devices such as Airpods - seems it is not supported. Related to apps, you should search for them in the App store (if needed you can change the country - I think it is using the Green button on the remote once you are in the store).

With 4K firestick you would avoid the issues with the Saphi OS so for the price it sounds like a good option.
