I think the bigger point here is that bikes and cars are just very different.
Normal cars are nothing like racecars, normal bikes are really not that far removed from racebikes.
The average commuter car has about 10-20% the power of a racecar, is build to never see a racetrack and to be nothing but practical and economical.
The average motorcycle has 50-75% the power of a racebike, is build to do daily riding but also see a racetrack if you want to.

I think Ducati is the Ferrari of Motorcycles. I've been around and ridden all types of brands but Ducati is definitely the head turner. A certain level of respect and charisma comes with the brand. I drive a Ducati Supersport which is by no means the best model, but I get ushered to park in front of Malls and Clubs the same way a Ferrari would. The feeling is quite amazing. My second point is their size to power ratio in relation to other brands is unmatched! Great content! Keep it coming!
I would equate Ducati more as the Alfa Romeo of motorcycles, with Mv Augusta as the 2 wheeled Ferrari.
A Ducati is a unique lifestyle and ride, I love my 821 monster and will never let it go. Compared to a over priced Italian bird cage on wheels... There is no comparison. moto for life.

Ducati is more similar with Ferrari in terms of styling, design, pedigree and basically in business aspects. Although once in a while there are Ducati bikes with Lamborghini livery. It’s the feel and appeal of the Ducati and Ferrari that makes them similar
BMW motorcycles have weirdly become the opposite of BMW cars. BMW motorcycles have almost become the Costco of the motorcycle world.

@@drsrsv8884 They make cheap scooters and motorcycles, to very expensive bikes, they have a long warranty (3 to 5 years), all their super bikes have "ghetto" luggage, most of their bikes have "teen driver mode" whereby they make little power, they all have ABS/TC, they don't allow higher revs during break-in period, they have relatively low insurance rates.
For the most part, they seem to be priced exactly the same as their Japanese counterparts but with triple the warranty.

I think the mistake of this video is comparing the Ferrari with a Supra and not with another superbike with a similar amount of hp.
Hell, compare the Ferrari with a 911 Turbo or a Mclaren 720s and there you will find the differencies.
Ferrari is about style, passion, feeling when using its perfomance, it's Italy at its finest.
Not the most reliable, not the most track focused, but it really makes you feel special.
And that's exactly the same as Ducati.
Both in the Sportbikes and the Supercars world there are 3 Italian brands that are the jewels of the category but with 3 different approaches.
If you want style, status, history and a lot of red buy a Ferrari or a Ducati.
If you want angular and aggressive looks and a more sporty and barebones feeling buy a Lamborghini or an Aprilia.
If you want literally a moving work of art, fancy materials and unhuman attention to details buy a Pagani or an MV Agusta

I would say that Ducati is the Ferrari of 2-Wheels (motorcycles), making MV Augusta the Lamborghini or Pagani of 2-Wheels (motorcycles) and Moto Guzzi the Maserati of 2-Wheels ( motorcycles). Of course this is not fully 100% accurate, however I think it is as close as we can get..

If ferrari started making motorcycles, that would literally be the ferrari of motorcycles. And it wouldn't be AS expensive and exclusive as their cars. It would probably cost less than that v4r. After all, lamborghini owns ducati. The bikes still aren't 300,000. As far as motorcycles go, ducati is a ferrari. Or lamborghini. But the racing heritage, and of course... The red, is just like ferrari. Bikes in general aren't as expensive as cars. Production bikes aren't going to cost 300k
And for the record, i've seen a dozen lambos on the streets and several ferrari on the streets. I haven't seen 5 ducatis on the street. And only once was it a ducati crotch rocket. Everyone cheaps out and gets a used gsxr

Tell me you have no fucking clue about cars without telling me. The F8 Tributo doesn't compare to a V4R, nor a GR Supra. The F8's competition would be a GT3, Huracan, or a V4S with electronic suspension. The V4R would be equivalent to a 488 Pista, 458 Speciale, or a 765LT. Meaning track specials. Also being the entry point, the F8 Tributo doesn't require more than money to buy.
