No, get you a classic Ducati like 750 or 900 SS. Enough power, fun to ride and still excellent handling. I ride Ducatis since 1979, starting with 900SD, 900 SS, 851, 916 and 998. And I would never buy a 240 HP bike. It's useless and normal riders can't handle this power anyway. I live in a rural and mountainous area in Bavaria and for the streets here, the 900 SS is still good enough to chase this new overpowered bikes.

Realistically you have to factor the rider's weight, it makes a huge difference on a motorcycle but very little difference on a car. Add a 170lbs rider and that figure goes to 2.3 or so.

@Lassi Kinnunen Yeah power isn't everything, I have a Street Triple with "only" 120hp but that is more than enough for the road and the occasional trackday, no real need for 200+hp for 99% of riders

i bought cbr1000rr 2009 for 4800euro,if i put around 2 or 3k dollar on it it will be much more better bike than this italiono,the only good thing about duccati is the look but if you search cbr its also a beautiful bike

@@benistingray6097 no not at all this engine has a redline of almost 16krpm. You'll need to slip the clutch like hell to just get moving in 1st gear cause the torque is really high up in the rev range, it's not a Harley or an Indian.

Hey big fan of Donut been watching since the beginning love your team and your content always produce awesome videos thank you for that. I want to give a topic suggestion if I may, a lot of people don't know about the CBR 900RR or CBR Fireblade, its origins and how instrumental its effects on the entire sportbike industry. It has an amazing story. the creator Tadao Baba started working for Honda as an assembly worker or something of that nature then worked his way up to test rider and some how landed the opportunity to create and design Hondas new generation of sportbike. At the time (early 90s) sport bikes weren't very sporty they were heavy and unwieldy machines. His creation and vision produced the 900RR and it took the rest of the industry literally a decade to produce bikes that could rival the Fireblade. The concept for the bike was (Total control) and the name originally was supposed to be Lightning! (up to speed maybe?) but that word is very loosely translated in Japanese and the translation mistake gave the name Fireblade to the bike and it stuck. listen guys those that know of these bikes know how special they are. but there are so many who don't know about these bikes and honestly if it wasnt for the Fireblade the whole sportbike industry might look very different today. this was the bike that changed it all and I know you guys would do an awesome job telling its story.

@LogicalSense i find it a bit short sighted to put aside engineering skills of an entire nation on ego and a bike Rossi found undrivable. Not doing justice to what Italy contributed to motorsport and automotive industry in general.
Ducati and Ferrari both are one of the most succesful brands in motorsport. They both have an enormous heritage going way back. More Italian brands have and they have some brilliant designers like for example Giugiaro, Ghandini, Spada, Pininfarina, Mantovani etc. These are all not just designers but engineers as well. Same goes for famous engine designers like Jano, Lampredi, Busso.
