    Best video I found on making these because you use a universal approach. Not just for trophy trucks or a touring car, this method will work for any car. Very awesome! Thank you.

    Love the PAD tube idea. Consider drilling and taping holes in your baseplate to thread bolts up through to act as adjustable posts to hold and dial in the tubes as you build, instead of using what ever you have to prop the tubes up at the desired height.

    Those look like the stud and bolt type ball joints as opposed to the tapered nut type. What vehicle are those for?

      For Volvo 850

    Very cool. If I'm only going for strength, would it be possible to just box in my control arms with extra steel?

    • @vazfx16

      Depends on what they are made of

    How reliable is the construction compared to the cast construction?

    • @vazfx16
      @vazfx16  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Cast is more reliable. This is for lightness, custom bushings and custom geometry.

      @@alexanderkelly5577 cool. Send video. Make sure you avoid unsupported butt welds. And to pass with good penetration, then run a cap over that bead.

    Where did you get the scissors ? I’m a purchasing agent for a furniture company and the longest I buy is 12”. Love the video. What will I need to do to lower a suspension?

    • @vazfx16
      @vazfx16  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t remember where I bought them…may have been Harbor Freight (15 years ago). You need lowering springs or coil overs to lower the suspension

    • @ronniejohnson317
      @ronniejohnson317 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the reply . Would I need to shorten or add to top or bottom?

    • @vazfx16
      @vazfx16  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ronniejohnson317 you would not need to shorten anything. The lowering springs will bring the height down…as long as you don’t go too lower you camber should be in an ok range
