I don’t think you would, not in a regular 4x4 shop anyway as there is a price to pay for quality and attention to detail like this and its time, and plenty of it which is not financially viable to do in a regular shop. Most customers don’t want to pay for that time, they want Indy 500 engineering at Kmart Service Centre pricing. If you can cater to the money is no problem crowd, that’s a different story. They’re willing to pay……..but they need it in two weeks to show off at some big event 😂😂😂. Cheers Stuart 🇦🇺
Yeah it is, made me jealous cause I can't do it lol. Then again never tried. Not this much or kind of fab required in aircraft engine and gearbox maintenance shop. Maybe when I retire I can give it a whirl lol
There is more skill and knowledge in 10 seconds of this video than in 90% of today’s bachelors degrees. Skills like that are really impressive, congrats on the awesome build.
I have always loved Baja vehicles, the way they look, the way they move and lean through turns, they’re just amazing. Especially custom trucks like this one. I’m not a car person, never really have been, but these types of machines just scratch an itch I never knew I had, and seeing them being custom built and personalized by the owners and creator’s is just... I love it.
@@goodguygto its 2wd in this video you can see him remove the front suspension entirely and remove the transfer case, this that amount of travel for an IFS setup you need to do RWD
That was really a great video... Showed a lot of the little things usually ignored, answering some questions for my Dmax and giving me some ideas for my center console
You sir have given me the drive and push to start on my 2012 Sierra. same body style, will definitely be taking pointers from this build and the man behind it
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! Beautiful work my man!
Try to get one for yourself, there is lots of great info on the internet, and you don't need all the best tools. Start with little stuff that interests you. And give your kids the experience, and skills.
I don’t know a lot of these cars but dang, I can definitely tell that this man got whole lotta talent. Those pipes fits like a rubber and that hood hinge? 👏👏👏 Huge thumbs up and subbed
Good job!. I can definitely appreciate your effort for the build AND the videos. Apparently you algorithmed (at least a little bit) on this video. I subscribed too. Where you at?
Thats BADASS Man! I am glad to see you living and enjoying your youth. At 60 with a few health issues I can tell you DO NOT WASTE a minute of that fun cool time stuff. It sucks when it's gone so get all you can.
Greatly appreciated the work you put in on this. Building mud boggers, pulling trucks, truggys, buggies, rock crawlers and drag cars I can say you have lived this build. By far the most in depth private build I've ever seen on TH-cam. All that said and still drooling over your rig 1 thing I (I know it's not my truck and it's the Baja look) I dont like the tire rack so far out the back. I guess I'm just use to making the approach angles as tight as possible. Great job, stay safe.
Did you 360 weld the cage? If so, how did you get the top and back sides? Doesn’t look like you cut off the top so I’m guessing the cage got dropped down through holes in the floor
I want to build stuff like this, but I don't know jack about welding. What type of welding did you do, and wheat method was used to bend and shape the framework? Who taught you how to do what you do?
SAVAGE build, Tyler. Nice summary/overview video on your rig. I like your choice to do a 3 seat. And the tube work under your front clip is clean and tidy. Keep up the good fab work! -Joe
Some really smart Aussies figured out a better universal joint. It's performance at every angle is the same as if the assembly is at 0 degrees. Something you might want to look into for a future build or as upgrades on this one.
Been in the Offroad industry for 20 years and I was impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail. I would hire you

Absolutely one of my new favorite videos on the internet. Awesome truck man!!!
Nice job! Thanks for recording as you build
Now THIS is inspiration, my friend. One day I will be able to have the knowledge and resources to build one of these for myself. Great job

How did you plant and blueprint the way you were going to build all the tube chassis?
