We have an active men's group at Kiokee Baptist in Appling, Georgia. This Saturday, we're sponsoring Kiokee Cruise-in of old cars, trucks, and tractors. 1,500 expected. We had a packed men's supper this past Sunday night. A 34 year old Marine sharp shooter gave his testimony about his service in Afghanistan. Kiokee averages about 6-700 in Sunday morning service.

There seems to be a tough balancing act for guys between an emotional man, a mature man, a masculine man, a strong man, intelligent etc. Most woman seem like they want someone who's all those things but a lot of guys aren't taught how to do that. Woman want the beast but they want a beast that's tame enough that he can be there emotionally as well and can be around infants. I think being a guy who is in touch with his emotions can sometimes just be to acknowledge that they exist.
