Got to see them live back in the 80's. The had so much energy and you could tell they were having so much fun playing in front of an American audience,
I saw these guys in 85 or 86 in Seattle. My ears were ringing so loud that everything I heard for the next few days was a few pitches higher. Great show and best drum solo I ever remember.
Awesome song. This band was sooooooooo underrated in the US it is sad to say because they are such a great band I have been a fan since 1986 and I still am. LONG LIVE LOUDNESS \m/
They were kick ass in concert. I saw them open for Quiet Riot, Yngwie Malmsteen, and AC/DC at Legend Valley and THEY CAME OUT KICKING SOME MAJOR ASS!! They know how to get their crowd roaring!! Exellent show!!
way back in 1987 my big hair band did this & we'd sing it "Ends in A......................... " no one noticed, no one cared, good times had by all Let it Go, also a really cool tune. also dug EZO, some really cool stuff there too.
These lyrics are so great I honestly think Paul McCartney probably wrote them. Just absolutely masterful. "You are the heroes tonight!" "We're going to rock and pile you!" Every time I go to a show I hope to get rock and piled but it so rarely happens. Loudness can do it though because it is like he said "The best kicks you in the head!"
i bought this lp(yeah really vinyl)in 85.i became a fan,and still iam fan.in finland their have couple single hit.but thunder in the east was the album were their noticed first in here.
These guys sounded so much better than a lot of the "Hair Metal" bands on the "SUNSET STRIP" in the '80's!!!! These guys were tight and they "KICKED ASS"!!!!
I've heard of LOUDNESS for years and years, but I'm only now just hearing them. They're better than most of the American bands of the Big Hair 80's. LOUDNESS is really great!
They were the first Japanese heavy metal act signed to a major label in the United States, releasing twenty-three studio albums (five in America) by the end of 2009 and reaching the Billboard Top 100.....
wow....i used to love this song...and still do...lol....they came through corpus christi in 85 or 86....missed that show....i think they played with wasp....fuckin badass jam
These guys were actually good in concert. They would have fit Spinal Taps tiny Stone Henge well, but they were really good, especially that guitar player. I never saw a guitar so small until First Song or whatever that is came out a few years ago... These guys did jam though. :)
you're right. it is time we showed that we are human beings. that's why im asking you not to make the assumptions you have made about me and not to disgrace someone by saying incorrect things about others like him, people who do what they do. those people respect each other, for the most part, because they are all artists.
Back in 83 or 84 was listening to my local rock station. And then suddenly this song comes on, damn it fucking kicked ass along with Let it go, I think Let it go came on first then this one, both kick ass!
MZA! - The truth about it`s origin in this song. During the pre-video recording production, both the head musical engineer & video director wanted vocals for audio testing during practice. The end of the song originally was all instruments with a no vocals fade off. They instructed the lead singer(Niihara) to just say something for audio testing purposes. He sang MZA. MZA sounded so cool in the testing it was actually added as an afterthought in the actual recorded video. Strange but true!
I do not understand why they just could not have it " Crazy Nights" instead of a meaningless M-Z-A?! But Akira and Loudness rock! Grew up listening to them!
@megagalva82 They were pretty popular among USA metal fans for a while. This was their only hit, sadly, but it's just as cool now as it was over 25 years ago. Hammerfall recorded quite a faithful cover of it, too. I'll have to buy the CD on which this Loudness classic originally appeared and see if they had any other tracks as good as this one.
First song I heard from this AMAZING band back in the 80's. Loved them back then, love them now!!!! One of my favorite Metal Bands!!!! GO LOUDNESS!!!!
What a riff. Damn what a menacing tune.
Got to see them live back in the 80's. The had so much energy and you could tell they were having so much fun playing in front of an American audience,
Akira Takasaki will always be on my personal list of the World's Most Under-rated Guitarists.
Same. Munetaka Higuchi is definitely on my list of most underrated drummers. All the members of this band are extremely underrated!
That riff still pulverizes.
I saw these guys in 85 or 86 in Seattle. My ears were ringing so loud that everything I heard for the next few days was a few pitches higher. Great show and best drum solo I ever remember.
Wok and Wole!!.....the best guitar sound ever recorded...and my favourite Guitarist of the 80's
Absolutely killer song, and Pagan's Mind has a terrific cover of it as well!
Loudness was one of the best concerts i ever went too!!!!!
+florida girl This guy once told me they sucked in concert, but I didn't listen to him. They sound pretty killer to me.
+Majestic Sanctuary He was probably being sarcastic lol.
One of my favorite Metal bands from the 80's. Love the guitar riff in this song. Akira ROCKS!
Everyone was tripping when these guys showed up in L.A..........Akira Takasaki played a mean axe.
LOVED this back in the day. It still ROCKS...!
I watched BabyMetal and got directed here. These guys are my new hero's.

Love the drums and guitar licks, excellent!!
Awesome song. This band was sooooooooo underrated in the US it is sad to say because they are such a great band I have been a fan since 1986 and I still am. LONG LIVE LOUDNESS \m/
This video proves to me the universal traits of Glam Rock/Metal: BIG HAIR, outrageous outfits, killer guitar. YEAH
One of the best Metalbands of the 80's
u know it!
Yes, they're top together with WASP, Accept and Judas Priest (my opinion).
Nicht-die-Mama Yep, Loudness, Slayer, D. R. I, Testament, Anthrax, and Helloween were all pretty badass in the 80's- early 90's.
Nicht-die-Mama how can you even say they compare to judas priest...
akira is my fav evh clone EVER!!! most under rated guitarist on earth!!!
awesome guitar solo
This song and band are awesome!
These guys were a lot tighter and sounded better than many "SUNSET STRIP BANDS" in the '80's!!!!

Mr. Akira rocking it all as always !! MZA !! \m/
david puls thanks for the video.
I remember buying this album...these guys rocked...guitars similar to Ratt and Ozzy at the time (after Randy Rhoads)
I always thought they were just saying Hey! Hey! Hey!, but because of watching this video they're saying MZA. Awesome rock n roll anthem.
Akira Takasaki = Japan's Eddie Van Halen! May be the most under-rated guitarist of all time. Awesome!
Id forgotten how good this band was until I heard them on Sirius the other day!
found out about these guys in sirius... never heard them before yesterday
Saw these guys in 85 when they opened for Motley Crue in New York and they were f**king amazing!

Let it Go, also a really cool tune.
also dug EZO, some really cool stuff there too.
Wow. The memories. I saw them in Okinawa in 87.
These guys, EZO, and Vow Wow were amazing.

Loudness was a great band. So much better than many of the American bands at the time.
These guys sounded so much better than a lot of the "Hair Metal" bands on the "SUNSET STRIP" in the '80's!!!! These guys were tight and they "KICKED ASS"!!!!
They are amazing!!!!
Damn that drum into! So simple but so intense!
I've heard of LOUDNESS for years and years, but I'm only now just hearing them. They're better than most of the American bands of the Big Hair 80's. LOUDNESS is really great!

Saw these guys open for Crue on the Theater Of Pain tour...not bad!!!
They were the first Japanese heavy metal act signed to a major label in the United States, releasing twenty-three studio albums (five in America) by the end of 2009 and reaching the Billboard Top 100.....

I did not know that the Japanese could rock until I saw this video. I've played it about a zillion times.
Esta banda no tiene nada que envidiarle a una banda norteamericana de hardrock o heavymetal. Suenan genial

I like this song
Akira Tagasaki, is that this guitarists name? He shredded, one of the best from the era.
This guy, Jake E Lee, and Malmsteen before the late 80's, all great Guitarist.
I still have this record
the good oldschool metal !
Back in 83 or 84 was listening to my local rock station. And then suddenly this song comes on, damn it fucking kicked ass along with Let it go, I think Let it go came on first then this one, both kick ass!

Marshall stacks. Zebra spandex. Big hair. Ahh, brings me back. The 80's kicked ass. What I remember of them, heh. Good fucking times.
@megagalva82 They were pretty popular among USA metal fans for a while. This was their only hit, sadly, but it's just as cool now as it was over 25 years ago.
