Bon Scott's lyrics are awesome. Then he dies. The next album Back in Black has awesome lyrics. Then every album after that has sub-par lyrics. I'm fairly certain AC/DC had Bon Scott's notebook for Back in Black.
Bon Scotts voice was amazing and i was very fortunate to see the band in 1976 live ,it as my first concert and will never forget it ,Like others commented I would have to hear this from Angus mouth ,I have seen them after this concert with Brain Johnson and of course it was amazing ,but I am happy that the band didnt try to find someone that could sing like him ,you may think im just trolling but I studied Bons voice and can do it very well ,maybe it was because of that concert but I study other singer like Robert Plant ,Steven Tyler ,Bruce Dickenson ,but my favorite is Chris Cornell ,its a shame that im so shy when it comes to playing in front of people but it is what it is ,now that im 62 and talking to a few people I really want to do a tribute to Bon Scott and will do it note for note

Highway to Hell is one of their best albums - Bon's personality was infectious - it always came through on every song.
